Comfortable and loose fitting for sleep. However, quality of fabric was a little disappointing

WELL once again you're still trying to sell the same Irish or Scottish tartan fabric. When will you finally run out and choose a few plain colors like red or white or navy blue ?

For petite buyers, these fit more like a regular. Still need to roll up the sleeves. Other than the thinness of the flannel, the quality is good. For the price, I would not purchase these again - and I got them on clearance for $30.

Found that if staying with established Scotch Plaids, the material appears to be plusher as offered in past. To confirm, visited store and found several of the newer designs were not just thinner but noticeably so with a possible looser weave? and little flannel loft vs. the historically thicker "Scotch Plaid" fabric with higher "brushing". P.S. little appointments now lacking, i.e., piping. Also, could use a wee more wrist cuff sizing. Colors: would love to see the richer Dress Stewart offered vs. the Royal Victoria Stewart!...a gorgeous design...see it in the washable wool throw #276187.

I need a nice, warm set of pajamas for an upcoming trip to Antarctica. While the quality of these pajamas is lovely, I am disappointed. I ordered a size small, and the top is somewhat in the neighborhood of a generous size 8, but the pants are HUGE. They are going back today.

Pants part is way too long! I think an elastic cuff would be better. Other than that, very comfortable and good quality flannel.

Waist too long, length too long. Not to petite standards. Quality good and has pockets unlike past LL Bean pajamas, which is why I purchased these. May need to look at children's sizes to fit right.

These are really cute but I just bought them and they are already all pilled. I agree with the other reviewers that the quality has changed.

Appears as though material quality thinner than prior purchases still in closet. Also, size also has expanded? ..which may be partially attributed to pockets in bottoms? Tops same but could use a tad more cuff expansion. /s/1 penny's worth.

I love the warm, soft flannel. I did not want a plaid and would have preferred a plain blue. However, my loud complaint is that the flannel even though washed and dried by itself, spreads lint all over the floors (a dry mop twice a week is black with it). It has clung to all the socks I wear to bed and to other clothing I wear, and I've even found it in the air purifier. Help!

Sizing is weird because the top runs too small on the under arms but bottoms fit. If I went any bigger bottoms wouldn't fit. Haven't washed them so now I'm nervous to put in drier. Other than that they are super comfy. Hoping washer doesn't ruin them.

Unlike my other LLBean flannel pajamas, these Blackwatch plaid pajamas shrunk up really badly on first wash. Very disappointed.

.....I ordered the Stewart Victoria Tartan, I don't know why it's coming up the Scotch Plaid. Anyway for comfort, as always, A+. I believe LLBean uses Portuguese cotton, some of the best flannel around. The sizing is a touch big, but that's typical for LLBean. And I prefer my pjs just a little bit big. My reason for the 3 stars is that Stewart Victoria is my favorite Tartan, it's usually similar to the Royal Stewart but on an ivory background, so I was excited to see this offered. But the plaid is not as pretty as it looks online, not at all. It's an ordinary run of the mill plaid that is almost like a knock off of the Stewart Victoria. They're ok, and like I said, certainly comfortable, but I'm not thrilled with them.

Beautiful colors. Fabric feels very nice. I ordered a women's size small like always, I'm 5' 1" and weigh 112 lbs. Tried them on when they arrived and they were very large for a small. Figured they would shrink when washed. They didn't. Instead of returning them I shorten the pants 2 1/2 inches. Not much I can do about the top.

I liked the notched collar on this new version of Bean's flannel pajamas, but not the button cuffs (too close-fitting for pjs) or the draw-string pants (draw-string just gets in the way.) The quality of the flannel seemed not quite as good as it used to be--I loved my Bean pjs from five or six years ago and wish they'd never been changed.

I love these PJ's but do not love the sizing. I love they offer tall size and the fabric of these PJs, but the sizes don't make sense. The tops are really small and the pants are really big. I have a pear shape and they do not fit. I usually wear an XL. I bought both XL and L. The XL top is tight the L top is too small. The XL pants are huge and the L pants are loose. Again, I am pear shaped. Tops should never be too small. Also the pants are extremely long in the crotch. Tall people have long legs not long crotches. I can pull them up to my arm pits. What are they using for a model? Take some of that extra material from the pants and put in the top.

I got a size small. First they were enormous on me, both top and bottom, but I figured they'd shrink when I washed them. Which they did. The bottoms fit now, more or less. But the sleeves are now way too short. Kind of skimpy. Bummer. Otherwise they're nice and warm.

For the price I paid - It would be very nice if they were made with a heavier flannel material ! AND you have been selling these pajamas for years with the same choice of color patterns perhaps you can make them out of a heavier material and in solid color - red - navy blue and white . your stock always sells out FAST so if someone doesn't order them a few months before Christmas = SOLD OUT !

I'm so disappointed in these pajamas - I spent full price and they didn't last intact for 2 years. The fabric on top of the right thigh just wore away - first the warp disappeared, then holes started to form then widen. I washed these on delicate cycle and dried the same, and I never stressed the right side with anything that would justify the wear. The fabric just gave out there prematurely and unevenly. Am I supposed to buy a whole new pair at $80 just to replace a pant leg with large holes? Or should I buy the men's black watch pants for $50? (There's no black watch bottoms-only selection for women.) Honestly, I'm really re-evaluating LL Bean's products, have been for awhile. Very disappointed, I'm sad to say.

The fabric is comfortable and warm. Per usual, LLBEAN is under the assumption that size 1X women mysteriously have Misses size 1 upper arms. Too uncomfortable to sleep in, but I kept them as lounge wear. They bind, but if you don't mind being uncomfortable, they are fine.

The top fit well, but the bottoms were a bit too large and way too long. I had to cut 3 inches off of the length. Definitely too long to be considered petite.

Love the fabric, color and design of these pj's but my Petite Small is huge, especially the bottoms. Hoping for fast shrinkage.
