Ordered the medium petite, and they fit perfectly (I'm long-waisted so pj's are often too long). As soon as I get home, I change into these, they're ultra soft, wash well, and made of high quality thick flannel. I'm asking for another pair for Christmas!

I ordered a size larger than I normally wear because I like my PJ's roomy.

I purchased these for my wife. She tells me they are the softest p.j.'s she has ever worn. Just what we like and expect from llBean.

I have to say I do not understand the unfavorable reviews of these PJ's I bought a pair in the Royal Stewart last Dec. and they have been wonderful. Still look great, fit was spot on,(W 1X)plenty of roominess that I like in sleepwear. Color is bright, still. There is some pilling but they have been worn and laundered a lot. I am in fact about to order another pair in different color because they are so comfy in cold weather. I also bought two pairs for my daughters for Christmas this year.(W 1X and small).The one daughter is petite so they may be a little long on her but she won't mind because they are ok for sleeping in that way. We all Love these PJ's.

Only complaint I have is that the pajamas have lint. In this case, it was small, black pieces of lint because I bought the dark plaid. The linting continued for 3 more launderings, but overall the product is excellent.

I am a pajama girl who lives in the Midwest. These pajamas are wonderful! The flannel fabric is excellent quality and tailoring is exceptional. Love the pockets in the pants!! I would HIGHLY recommend these pajamas...warm and comfy!

My entire family, but for the children, has at least two sets of these great pajamas. Personally, I have three pairs from three years ago. Because I enjoyed them so much, I ordered two more this season. Wow! What a change! They are now much more tailored looking with the addition of the fully rounded Peter Pan collar and piping. The material is also softer and warmer than the material that was used in the earlier versions of the pajamas. The pockets in the pants are a welcomed addition; they do not bunch up like the ones in the current style of Beans Scottish Plaid gowns. For the two colors I bought, Black Watch and Royal Stewart, there has been no pilling, no shrinkage. I wash them on the delicates setting with Woolite for Dark Colors, add Downy to the rinse cycle, and then line dry them or toss them in the dryer for a moment to shake out the wrinkles. I just ordered another Black Watch pair. The pajamas are much warmer than Beans gowns--no drafts.

I love my new LL Bean flannel plaid pajamas! I bought the Stewart Victoria. They are very soft, warm and well made. I'm an XXS so the XS bottoms are a little wide through my hips, but that makes them super comfortable and roomy. I'm 5'7" and the length is perfect. Definitely recommend LL Bean's plaid flannel pajamas. Well priced compared to other flannel pajamas.

Bought a second set for my wife and she likes them. I'm not a very descriptive writer, so I'll just leave the review as-is. I feel like the amount of stars given is what's most important in a review, so I'll just let my star rating stand on its own. Here in Wisconsin it is already in the 40s at night. I wore these pajamas and slept soundly because of the comfort and the warmth of the material. I highly recommend these pajamas for a good night's sleep during the colder months of the year.

Very comfortable and loose fitting, just the way I like them. Other reviewers complained about them being linty. Most flannel is linty the first time you wash it, and these were about average in that regard.

These pjs are soft and comfy. I am 5'3" and the small fit perfectly. I normally order medium in other brands, but these are roomy enough for me in small. I really like the blackwatch plaid.

I have an older pair of flannel pajamas from L.L.Bean that I wear all the time during the winter months. I decided to order another pair because I like them so much for fit and comfort. The new flannel pajamas are even softer to the touch and I am very happy with them. They fit great and are very comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend them to anyone who likes to wear flannel pajamas during the winter.

I have 3 pairs of these pj's. The latest version seems a bit softer and the pockets on the pants are a welcome addition. They now come with a drawstring, but I personally don't prefer it over a simple elastic waistband. I like flannel pjs to be way oversize so I buy a large and they are truly big on me since I'm a size 10. If you're a 10 or 12 and want pjs that are roomy but not oversize, go for the medium. If you're like me and want 'way big' try the large. I wear these on cold winter nights and they're warm enough to take a quick trip out in the middle of the night with our dog.

I have several pairs of LL bean pajamas and also a nightgown. They last forever and this time I got the slippers to match. Warm but not too thick to make them uncomfortable.

My wife just told me these are her favorite pajamas. For her, these are the most comfortable. The cut just works for her. She loves the pockets. She loves the flannel. In fact, I was just on the llbean.com site to see if they might be on-sale so that we could buy another set, because she loves them so much!

The women's flannel pajamas are the softest flannel ever. I highly recommend them for maximum coziness on a cold night!

I was concerned that these pj's might be flimsy, but the flannel is soft and wonderful. The colors are as depicted and did not fade with washing. I'm delighted. They're warm and cozy, perfect for chilly winter nights.

I love this pajama set- I have the Stewart Victoria color. I'm 5'4" 115lbs and the XS fits really nicely. The pants definitely aren't too long. The flannel is very comfortable, and the set has washed well with cold water & in the dryer. If you're looking for a warm PJ set, look no further!

I love these PJ's! They're really comfortable and warm on chilly evenings. Sometimes they're too warm, as I live in Southern California, which, even in the winter, is a lot warmer than most places. My daughter loves them too and is always borrowing them when hers are in the laundry. The only critique that I have is that the pants are much larger than the top, like they're a size too big. It's not a big deal, but they could be somewhat smaller.

I bought a pair of pjs from llbean a few years back and they were comfy enough to decide to get another set. I was so happy with upgrades to this already fine product. They added pockets to the bottoms! A+ decision. The fabric is softer and a bit thicker. And they are cut more generously. I am 5'6" and weigh around 135lbs and the medium fits perfectly. So perfect I bought a pair for my 15yr old step daughter. She is a little bigger than me overall but the med are great for her too. As soon as we know we are in for the night(could be 4pm, don't care!)we get into these comfy pjs and relax!
