The item is not the quality of LL Bean. After one washing per direction, the pajama bottoms were pilling, they seemed to attract lint and dog hair. I returned them.

I have been a loyal Bean customer for decades, and I still am. This was a rare bad purchase. I am always a small or extra small with Bean shirts. I purchased this pajama set in a small today. The length of shirt hem and sleeves looked great in the store. I realize that these items are 100% cotton. I washed on delicate cycle in cold, tumble dry on low... per instructions. The shirt has shrunk 3-4 inches in length! The sleeves too, they look like 3/4 sleeves now. Pajama pants have also shrunk in length.... Strangely enough, the roominess of pants and shirt have not shrunk, only the length?! Too bad as set is adorable. I cannot recommend these pajamas......

I really liked this pajama set when I first received it. They fit perfectly until I washed them and then they shrank terribly. I washed the set in cold water and dried on knits and delicates. The sleeves on the shirt shrank about an inch and a half and the bottom about two inches. The pants shrank about two inches in the length. I have cheap pajamas I've been wearing for years that never shrink. I am very disappointed I spent this much money only to have them not fit after one wash.

I bought this because it was cute, it had pockets (hard to find in pjs), and it looked warm. I ordered a size up because some reviews mentioned a problem with shrinkage. Well, these pjs shrank beyond belief. The bottoms must be 5 inches shorter than they were at first even though I wash them in cold water and dry on low heat. They now look like cropped pants and much of the warm is gone as a result. A second issue, just as important is the flannel bottoms are stiff and scratchy. I thought they would soften up with washing but no such luck. They are cute, LL Bean, and I hope you can fix these problems!

The pants are huge and the top is small and short It's just a horrible match .

I'm very conflicted. These pajamas are extremely comfortable, but they are shrinking exponentially every time I was them :/ For reference, I am a true 'size small' in LL Bean clothes. However, I read the reviews for these pajamas and ordered a size up. They fit just slightly large out of the bag. I washed them, and ask expected, they shrunk just a tiny bit. First wash: fit very well. But then... things started going down hill. After every wash, the pants get about a half inch shorter. Very unfortunate because I love everything else about them. Not sure what to do at this point because they have been washed so I can't return them, but I am very unhappy with them at this point. So, buyer beware. These are very comfy, but you will end up with a pair of shorts after a dozen washes :/

I was excited to have a pair of pajamas that actually fit in the length of the pants. It shrunk

I was so happy to receive this item, but after washing and drying them on low heat the sleeves and pant length shrank up. The pants went from a great length to major high waters and the top went from below the wrist to three inches above it. Will be returning order. Made me sad...

I not happy with the quality. It not the same ll bean flannel pj that I am use to. wore them once and the top was tight. I washed them in cold water and the top shrank. I will be sending them back.

Very expensive and very poor fit. I washed them and waited for a cold night to wear them. This was last night. They were so uncomfortable that I changed to another pair in the middle of the night. The pair I changed into was the same size but far more comfortable.

It looks good until you attempt to clean it. One cold water wash and it becomes unwearable due to decreased size. It is not worth anything at this point. How very disappointing.

Top too small, bottom too large. Fabrique quality not of previous quality, poor!

I was hoping for some comfy PJ's. These were a bit smaller than I expected, but I decided to keep them. I've only worn them for a few days and the fabric is already piling and getting worn areas. I doubt they will even make it through this season.

LLBean what happened to your decades of quality product. I returned one set because the stitching was so loose. Thin fabric, itchy. It's cheap cloth. Your products were once cozy and soft. Four of the four I purchased were disappointing.

These were terrible pajamas. The top was too tight. The pants were an uncomfortable stiff material, not soft like pajamas ought to be. The rise was not long enough. Don't know why anyone thought these would be good sleepwear. Back it went.

Arrived with a sawing defect, and LL Bean would not send me a replacement. Not just bad quality, bad customer care too. In fact it's not really care is it? It's NOT care. Also shrinked at least 2 inches. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The top is true to size. The pants seem to be at least 2 sizes bigger. They fall off!! Very disappointed since I've bought LLBean pjs for everyone in the family for years. Finally ordered myself some. Can't wear them, washed so can't return. A smaller size would make the top too small. Not same quality as the men's I've previously purchased.

LL Bean sent me a defective pajama. When I called for a replacement, Bob, of LL Bean customer care refused refused to replace it. Horrible customer care. In fact it's not care, iit's Who Cares about our Customers. I would not recommend LL Bean to anyone.

Bought 2 pairs these flannel pjs in October. I did expect some shrinkage during the wash...but certainly not this much. By December, they were unwearable. Will not buy these again.

Not happy with this purchase. The top is too short. I didn't put top in dryer afraid it would shrink. The bottoms shrank a lot almost to the point I can't wear them. I did not expect such low quality from your fine company.

The pants on these PJ's are very short waisted and uncomfortable. The fabric is not up to LLBean's usual quality. I will return the set.
