I first got an earlier version of this item (no pockets, alas) as a Christmas gift in 2016. I was so pleased with it that I have spent the last eight years buying it as gifts for most of my friends. I have gifted over a dozen of these flannels over the past eight years, and all of my friends adore them. The color stays well. They are cozy and warm, best worn as an additional layer rather than as a base layer by itself. My own flannel is nearing the end of its life, having been worn most colder days over the past eight years - the exterior cotton batting is finally thinned too much to be repaired - and I am now waiting for LL Bean to offer it in a new color (I've avoided repeating the same flannel pattern with my friend gifts, and I've bought the current colors already!)

I wear this cozy shirt open over another lightweight shirt indoors. Add a scarf and snap it up then it's perfect for a quick trip outside. I am short waisted and the petite works well, not bunching in the back, but still enough length in the sleeves. Love it!

Love this shirt! I'm always cold, so finding just the right thing to wear both inside and outdoors has been a journey. LL Bean does it again!

This lined flannel shirt is just what's needed when fall temperatures roll in.

This is the coziest shirt/ coat. With winter coming on it great to wear around the house. The fleece is so soft and holds your body heat in. It absolutely better than keeping a blanket around you. It's a perfect fall and spring coat, being to keep the brisk air at bay. I have bought 2 of them to coordinate with my clothes. Best Buy EVER!

I love this - such a great option to have available in my wardrobe for cool weather. The fit was as expected, although like some other reviews note, the sleeves were a tad too long, but not enough to bother me, maybe just 1/2". I would like another, but I'm not crazy about the other colorways. That said, I'm not the traditional LL Bean customer, either. I would like to see the shirt/jacket version in a solid or monochromatic colorway or two - like soft black shell/black fleece lining; deep true red w/red lining, etc. I'd definitely pick those items up.

Love this shirt. I got the red. Looks vintage and lovely out of the box. Pockets in just the right place. Today is the first cold day and I am looking forward to wearing it.

This shirt is lovely and warm. I usually wear a medium but ordered a large because I wear it as a jacket.

Love the shirt. I bought it as a layer for a trip to Alaska. It looks great, fits well and is oh so cozy warm. However, I cannot get the snaps to snap. My husband, who is bigger and stronger, can do the snaps for me with some degree of difficulty.

This shirt/jacket is perfect for the fall's cool weather. Very soft and cozy, so i bought a second one.
