I was hoping these would be soft and cozy, but instead the fabric was course and thin. I returned it.

The bottoms were overly large. Too wide, too long, by a lot. They must have been wrongly sized. The top was ok but as they are a set I returned both pieces.

These pajamas were extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, unlike the LL Bean pajamas of just a few years ago, these are very thin flannel. I will be returning.

Not soft at all. The pants felt as if starch had been used on them and were very thin. The pants were a little larger and the top was rather snug. These definitely felt very cheap. I shop at L.L. Bean for quality and I'm willing to pay more for it, and these pajamas definitely did not measure up. I have the flannel pajama set in black watch and they're one of my favorites.

I was looking forward to this purchase as I had ordered a similar item I loved. I was very disappointed in the feeling of the fabric in the bottoms and the labels were not printed but sewn in and quite irritating. I had washed the set before wearing using free and clear type detergent and softener and extra rinse but the pants still were not at all soft as advertised. Quite to the contrary. I don't mind the large bottom style as some others have mentioned. I cut off the labels for more comfortable wear but nothing is helping the scratchy feeling of the fabric. The knit top is comfortable except for the labels. It is a shame as I waited quite a while for this design to be available.

The flannel bottoms are very stiff- even after being washed 3 times. I was expecting any flannel from LLBean to be soft, but I was very disappointed in the quality of this item. The top was fine.

Funny fit: bottoms were huge and top too small (though not terribly, just a bit). Even with the draw strong bottoms these hang on me. And the top....a bit snug through the shoulders and the sleeves don't hit my wrists. I kept them as I was desperate for new pj's but I will order a second pair elsewhere.

The top shrunk .. I will have to find another top for the set. The pants are great, still bright after so many washing. I wish you WOULD let us know where they were imported from...

I received a pair of the womens pajamas as a Christmas gift, and I was very disappointed in the quality. I washed them before wearing. After the washing, the pants are stiff and not soft like flannel should be. Would not purchase again.

This is the first time I have been disappointed in a product from LL Bean. The pajamas were back ordered so it took over 3 weeks for me to receive them. I ordered petite because I'm only 5'3 and pajamas usually run long. The whole set was disappointing. The shirt is a nice fabric but runs small and short in the sleeves. The bottoms were more disapponting. The legs are unusually wide, the waist is a drawstring that is difficult to tie or stay tied and the fabric never really gets soft even after washing. For almost $50 for pajamas I would have expected more, especially from LL Bean. I wish I didn't order these and can't recommend them.

They top fit just great. Really liked the top. The pjs were too long and way too big. I could have put two legs in one leg. Very disappointed.

The pants are very stiff and scratchy. They were also very big. I like roomy pajamas, but these were made weird with the area between the waist and crotch way too big.

I should have regurned them. Pants were like big clown pants. Top was lsrge and I usually take medium but the top just fit. I do not recommend. The LL Bean pjss that fit beautifully are the Hersey knit ones.

I was so disappointed with these pajamas as they are not soft at all especially the bottoms. They did not get any softer after washing them. There was a large tag on the inside of the top sewn right into the seam on the side therefore it was very difficult to remove. I don't understand why clothing manufactures haven't gotten the hint yet that consumers do not want tags sewn into their clothes. I thought I would get some nice soft pajamas coming fro LLBean but this is not so. Overall Very disappointed.

I bought these as an after-Christmas present, and put them on a few days later. The next day, I broke out in hives on the back of both legs. I've never had a problem wearing LL Bean items from that were shipped or purchased in the store. I thought about washing them, but once I've washed them I can't return them, and I'm seeing reviews that the pants lose a few inches once they are washed. I have 4 other sets of Bean pjs, and this is the first time I've been disappointed. Yes, the hives are very itchy and uncomfortable, and for the price, I expected better, because Bean usually meant quality for the price. I guess quality went away with the lifetime guarantee.

Ordered a Small because the reviews had said that it ran large then shrank. The PJs were so large that I returned them for a credit and did not even bother trying to wash them. The quality was not of Beans' past standards.

I bought 2 pairs of these of these cozy pj's. They both initially fit true to size. After the first wash, the light blue pair uncomfortably shrunk both in length and width as compared to the bosenberry colored pair. I will be sending back the blue pair due to unsatisfactory reasons and retaining the well liked bosenberry ones.

These are wonderful PJs but shrink to the point where they are so short you can't wear them anymore. I just purchased 2 pair last November and December and I washed in warm water and air dry and they are no longer good to wear. I am very disappointed.

I am very unhappy with these. The directions say to wash in cold and low heatI Unless you use ice cubes and line dry, the bottoms come out a mass of wrinkles and still way too long. I bought an XL petite thinking the 100 % cotton would shrink. The top shrunk but the bottoms not. They are a maintenance garment and I have no time for ironing and special accommodations. I am sending them back and will not replace them. Sizing and fabric seem to so different on new products from L.L. Bean...I could always count on size and quality. No more.

They were great straight out of the package. Once washed in cool water, low tumble dry they shrunk. Pants became crops losing almost 3 inches. Shirt lost 2 inches in sleeve and 2 in length. The material for the pants was weird but I was willing to overlook it. After washing however it made it feel very cheap. I returned both sets. The colors were nice. I had red and blue sets. I ordered another set in each and used the new unwashed set for comparison.
