I can't wait to get home from work and put these pants on! I literally live in them. I got the smalls because I am small on the bottom but bigger on the top. That said, however, I wish the top was a little looser, because I don't like clingy tops but it fits ok. The only problem with the pants is that I now hate to go out of my house because I would have to change out of them. LOL! So if you like comfy and cozy, these are the PJ's for you. Go for it!

As you can see by your files, I have been a LL Bean customer since 1968; rag wool sweater. My closets contain LL shoes, socks, shirts, sweaters, coats, sweatshirts, hunting stuff, fishing stuff and a sandwich spreader.
I love LL Bean and all they stand for. As for the PJs, my wife's 2016 Christmas gift, the top fits as it should. The pants look like they are for a clown to wear. Way too baggy and long. My bride of 48 years sent back the pants and kept the top. Truth be told, she found a nice pair of pajama pants at Wally*World for $12.

These pajamas are soft and comfortable. Wish that they were just a little thicker, but still like them.

I really like this pajama set. Even though the shirt is made of knit cotton and not lined with flannel as another reviewer stated, it is heavy weight and compliments the flannel very nicely. I think it runs big. I ordered large due to heavier legs, but could have ordered a medium just fine. It didn't shrink much when I washed it the first time, and has not shrunk anymore at all. It is warm, comfy, and I feel very cozy in it. I ordered 2 different sets. I would love more cheerier color and print options! I found the aqua plaid cheery, but the others kinda dark looking.

I love these pajamas, they are comfortable and feel great. The only problem is that they have only been washed twice and there looks to be fading already around the neck and shoulder. They were washed in cold water woolite. So far this is only in one of the sets that I bought. For the price I would have expected better.

This is a nice set. One issue I do have is that the top is kind of short and sometimes leaves me uncovered in the gap between the top and the pants while I am sleeping. Not a big deal, very nice overall.

I just ordered my second pair of these PJs. The first was in the alternative style (# TA501031).
They are truly cozy in bed--and warm for midnight kitchen raids for a snack! I'm 5'7" and 130 lbs, and the misses small fits just fine.
The only reason I did not give them 5-stars is because the plaid on the pants in this style does not match from front to back, giving an artificial "stigmatism" look to them. But with so much comfort, I will ignore it and keep looking up!

I was expecting more from LLBean. The pajamas would have been comfortable but the sleeves on the top were too tight and the bottoms were huge! Way too long and too big overall. I washed them thinking that would help but it didn't. I will have to shorten the bottoms.

When I ordered these, I didn't read the entire description because I have two other sets like this from previous years. So I didn't realize that the pajama pants no longer have pockets and the waistband has been made uncomfortably narrow. If you want to save money on the design, LL Bean, I suggest that you keep the original wider elastic waistband and get rid of the tie. I'm sure I'm not the only person who finds that feature unnecessary and annoying. Also, make the legs slimmer. This will use less fabric and make them less likely to ride up, leaving my lower legs uncovered and chilly. The fabric is pretty and soft. The fit is true to size. But I sent them back because of the narrow waistband and lack of pockets.

I always order pajamas one size larger for sleeping comfort . Unfortunately the last two sets I bought just alike in two different colors didn't work out so well. The tops shrank up and the pants kept getting bigger. The top and pants are in different types of fabric so that explains how they ended up larger and smaller. I was disappointed since I paid full price for each pair. It was already winter so I wanted to add more in my collection as I'm fighting a type of cancer and try to keep lots of choices in clothing clean and available.

Love the comfort but the shirt is not long enough. The pants are true to size.

Not as cozy, warm, and cuddly as I expected. I like my Lanz pajamas better. Top fit OK, bottom a little large.

Warm and cozy pjs, true but they shrunk - shirt sleeves and length are too short now.

Pretty pjs but not up to Bean's usual standards. I consistently wear the Petite Medium size. These were a little smaller than other petite mediums I have purchased. The top is okay, but the pants did not fit as well - I like pjs to be rather loose, and these were snug. I can wear them, but they are not comfortable as they could be. I did not like the fabric in the pants. It was a cross between a rough cotton and a light flannel.

I got the PJ's for Christmas. I was happy to see some cozy new jammies from Bean, until I wore them. The top is too short. Usually sleeves run too long on me, but these barely covered my wrists. When I sat down or moved in bed my back would come uncovered. Not cozy at all! While I appreciate the quality of the material, I will be returning them. Not what I expected for the premium price.

Comfy but for a size small the pants are huge! Also, pockets should be required in all pajama pants!

They are fair to OK but I expected better for the price. The pants are too long but I can shorten them. I normally wear a size 10 and got a large. The top is shorter in the body length than I would have liked. The fabric is no where near as nice as some of the other LL Beans I have from several years ago. I would not buy them again for this price, if they had a really really good sale might consider them.

I really love the look of these PJ's, but the material isn't very soft in the bottoms, very rough feel. The size is ok, but tight in the upper thighs and seat. Pretty long for a petite. I love the top. Fit is perfect and feels soft. Too much trouble to return.

The colors are great. The top was fine; the bottoms are cut skimpily and are uncomfortable.

Long - even for petite. The top is not holding its shape well.

I bought these last winter and every time that they are washed, the top shrinks. I love them but the arem are now 3/4 length. The bottoms are baggy and comfortable as well as warm. However the top is now too small.

The pajamas are very comfortable but the pants are too long and twice as wide as they need to be, they kind of look like clown pants. Kept one pair but wanted to order more but I just couldn't. Like my pjs loose, but nit this loose. Feel top size does not match bottoms. Was disappointed..

I wanted all cotton jammies and these were the only ones I could find. I now have them and they are okay but not great. The pants are flannel; they should be the same soft jersey as the top, and have cuffs so the legs don't ride up at night and leave me cold. The flannel pants aren't the super soft flannel of the LLBean nightgowns, tartan bathrobe, or wonderful shirts. It is much stiffer. I have washed them so they're mine...but I may end up getting rid of them, still in search of comfortable cotton jersey jammies.

No pockets. Would prefer elastic waist instead of drawstring. Not the quality I would expect for $80 PJs. No different than PJs from Kohls.

I purchased a PJ set for my 91 year-old mother. She is very petite and we couldn't find a set in the stores that would fit her small frame, she we ordered the petite size from L.L. Bean. However, when I received the PJs, which she was happy with, I noted that the price tag showed $10 less than the list price that we paid for them. Y'all charge my mom $79.95 for these PJs and the tag price on them was $10 less than that. I think you owe my mom a $10 refund. What say you?
