These are nice medium weight PJs. They wash up well. They don't shrink.

These pajamas are soft, warm, and comfortable. They hold up well in the washer and dryer. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Soft, warm, quality workmanship. Expensive but worth it!

The fabric is thick and of excellent quality. The sizes are a little off. It would be BEST if the tops and bottoms were sold separately instead of in a set. I ordered the XL tall because I like tops and pants to be long enough. The pajama pants are quite large, but the drawstring waist makes up for it. I originally pre-washed them on delicate, cold water. The top still shrunk but is okay. I wash the top on cold/delicate and the pants on hot/normal. The hot/normal cycle helped bring the pants down a bit in size. Again, separate sizing options would be better for the customer. I gave this a five star rating because they really are cozy pajamas!

Originally ordered the Petite Small but sleeves were too short. Returned them for the Regular Small and the sleeve length was perfect. PJ's are soft and comfortable. Love them.

Love these! i sized up. The shirt fits perfectly; the pants are a little baggy and long for a petite. But these are my go-to pajamas in the evening. Wash well. Comfortable fabric. Got the blue, a very pretty shade. Would purchase again.

These pj's are very comfortable and the fabric is excellent quality.

Tried on before wearing. Pants were perfect length with enough room for movement. The pants feel like LL Beans heavy flannel sheets, soft but yet a nice heavy cotton flannel. The top felt a little tight, only because it is a heavy 100% cotton but had plenty of movement because it does stretch. Washed in cold water and dried on low for only a few minutes to get rid of some of the wrinkles, and hung to finish drying. No shrinkage. Felt very warm at night. I did unbutton the top few buttons when sleeping and felt very comfortable. After I woke up, I buttoned the top back up and could tell that it did have more movement in it. It really fits perfect. Actually so perfect I ordered another set, same size in the red. I still have them on and they are very toasty. The price is a little high, but LL Bean does have good quality items. I wish it did have pockets in the pants, but not a deal breaker.

I was reading reviews and saw so many minor complaints that I felt compelled to add my two cents. I own three pair of these pajamas and am thinking of buying another just because I love them. Some folks thought they were too big, but I think pajamas should give you some moving around room and there is a tie at the waist that you can tighten if you need to. I wash these any way that is convenient from cold to hot water and dry in a hot dryer. No shrinkage and they are fine. The flannel feels a bit hard after laundering, but are comfortable after I put them on and they don't irritate my delicate skin. They also probably last longer than softer thin flannel. I've had these pajamas for almost two winter seasons and they still look new.

I purchased two sets of these PJ's from LLBean 10+ years ago that had started to fade. So I purchased two more sets as a Christmas gift for my wife this year. My wife has always said that she loves these PJ's because they are soft, warm and cuddly. (She wears them during the colder months in Upstate NY.)

The material is soft and warm but not stifling warm. Both the top and bottom are true to size but the bottom could easily fit a person a bit larger. I have machine washed in cold water and dried in the dryer on low heat many times now and they have never shrunk. They are still like new. I ordered another pair in a different color. I highly recommend this product.

These are the first pajamas with an inseam of 34 inches which is perfect for my height They are comfortable and soft and I will be purchasing another pair I am so excited about this product

These pj's are a favorite for wintertime wear. This is my second pair; I'm still wearing a similar pair, purchased a few years ago. They launder well, are comfortable and last a very long time. What could be better?

I'm wearing right now - might get a second set for when this is in the laundry!

This pajama set is wonderful! The cloth of both the top and the bottom is soft and warm but does not get hot while you sleep. It is very comfortable and easy to sleep in as it moves with you when you turn or move in your sleep. I found the large to be the perfect size for me, not too large and not too small. I need to add that I do not like to sleep in tight clothing and this pajama set is not tight but not too loose either. The set I purchased is blue, not red, and the blue of the top goes with other pajama bottoms I have purchased from LL Bean. The patterned bottoms go with other blue tops that I have. So now I have many ways to combine my various items of sleep clothing; variety is the spice of life and now I have it in sleep wear!

I highly recommend these wonderful PJs... So soft, fit to size, and I love the drawstring as my waist is smaller than my hips ;) I love the blue color!
