Fabric is stiff. White lining for pockets is ugly when pockets are unzipped. Overall too large.

The sleeves were too tight, especially with another shirt underneath. I returned it.

I bought 2 of these fleece jackets last year in size medium tall. They fit perfectly... long sleeves, yet closely contoured in the torso (5 stars). I was expecting the same fit in the one I purchased this year (not). This years fit is way too big and baggy... like it's been re-designed for a fat person... not good at all.
Disappointed,

Purchased this jacket for my mother in her usual size, XS Petite. She already has this jacket in other colors, the same size. This jacket was purchased through the LL Bean website and arrived from Mall of America. It was obvious the jacket had already been worn, washed, and put in the dryer. The sleeves were even rolled up a couple of inches, like someone had worn it. The jacket was not in the usual clear plastic bag like when an item arrives new from LL Bean. It was inside the green mailer bag with no protection around the garment. It was the kind of experience you would expect from a second hand store but paying top dollar. I am shocked as this is the first time I have ever had this kind of experience from LL Bean. I only hope this is not a sign of things to come when purchasing items from LL Bean. I don't mind paying more for quality but this purchase doesn't even come close to the kind of quality LL Bean is known for.

The item is way overpriced. Material is stiff and has a funny smell. Returning.

I can only wear this jacket around the house now, the pilling is so bad. Can't even wear it in public. Not buying again. At least it is warm!

I received this as a Christmas gift. I loved it, Comfortable and warm. Looks fits great. I've worn it about 10 times: Silk fabric on wrist began to fray and rip. I brought the jacket back to LLBEAN and without a receipt they would not exchange for a new jacket. They did try to search by my son's name and address and could not find the purchase. I thought LL BEAN would replace within a year without a receipt. I really love so maybe I will find someone who can repair the rip.

The description of this jacket said it was slightly fitted. I ordered a tall size large, as I am 5'9" and LL Bean's regular size long-sleeve items rarely have sleeves long enough for my arms. I was incredibly disappointed in this item. The light gray color was much uglier in person than online. While the arm length was perfect, the hemline came down past my butt - so much more of a tunic length, when I was hoping it would hit at mid-hip. The shoulders were almost too narrow, but the waist area was much too loose to be considered "semi" or "slightly" fitted. But a medium would have been too tight across the bust / shoulder area. Additionally, calling this a jacket is misleading - it did not feel heavyweight / warm enough to me to be considered anything more than a sweatshirt. So frustrating. Definitely not worth the $.

I had this jacket and LOVED it. I took it on trips all over, and it performed wonderfully. I even got engaged on a cliffside in Scotland while wearing my jacket. I couldn't have asked for a better jacket. Then I lost it.
I was unable to get the same color, which I was pretty bummed about. It hadn't even been that long, probably not even a year. When the new jacket arrived, I tried it on and was instantly disappointed. Everything about it was the same except the fit. The shoulders are much too narrow and it gave me back aches to wear even for a short while.
I soooo much wanted to love this jacket again, but I cannot afford $6.99 to send this thing back and forth to find "the one." It's ridiculous. Every other company is offering free exchanges and returns. And with stores not being open near me, I have no choice but to pay to return this disappointing item.
Not to mention the quality being in question. With costing sooo much money (really, who has an extra $90 to spend on a little jacket?! It should AT LEAST be made of organic cotton and made in the USA for that much... but no, it's polyester and made in Jordan.) How can two of the "same" articles of clothing fit so vastly different?
I could not be more disappointed. This may be my last LL Bean purchase.

The very stiff collar on the fleece DOES NOT fold down.....so it scratches my face and catches makeup constantly......creating a brown rubbed area on the collar. AND the torso area is loose and not fitted making for an ill fitting fleece that looks awful.......will not purchase again.

This jacket fits beautifully but I should have returned it before I took the tag off. I still have not worn it. I HATE the ugly logo LLBean now puts on EVERYTHING including coats.
I would like to buy a new coat but will not walk around wearing a logo.

I have always wanted this jacket and I finally got one for Christmas, but when I tried it on the sleeves were too short for me. I'm 5'11 and need longer sleeves please offer a Tall version for us gals that need extra length in the sleeves.

The sweater fleece jacket looked awkward and bulky. The material was not pleasant and the fit was unattractive to say the least.

I have three of these sweater fleece zip up jackets and wanted this one for the different color. The first three jackets have NO logo on the front at all. This jacket has a huge, ugly logo right on the chest. UGHHH! What were you thinking, LL Bean?? I would not wear this jacket if it were free, because Bean would need to pay me for advertising its company. I am sending it back immediately. :(

I ordered this jacket in November; it fit perfectly and I loved it. I wanted to purchase a second jacket in a different color. In February the zipper on the left pocket broke. This review is for the replacement jacket. It fits like a regular rather than a Petite that I ordered. I have to roll up the sleeves a couple of inches and the jacket just doesn't fit like the first jacket. I am very disappointed in the quality control. What was my favorite jacket is now my least favorite.

The oatmeal color fabric began to pill after the first month. I've had it a year and the front and arm surface has pilled badly. Feels terrible. Oddly, my husband's sweater fleece is fine. Same full zip stye, different color, different outcome.

This jacket either was mis-sized or runs real small. I normally wear a Large and with this being a X-Large I thought that it would fit, well it didn't so I returned it.

This jacket didn't fit well at all. The sleeve opening at the shoulder was so tight I could barely get it on. And the sleeve length wasn't good. Overall, I was disappointed and returned it. I've ordered many things from LLBean over the years and many have been really excellent, but I felt that this one wasn't up to the usual quality of LLBean products.

I ordered a size medium and a size small. Both were huge and stood away from my body and hips. Despite this there was no room under the arms to wear anything comfortably. I am so disappointed in LL Bean's ladies' sweater fleece design. The fabric is nice and I loved the hemline but I returned both.
I am making do this winter with the well designed men's pullover sweater fleece in size small. It has room under the arms for a sweater and fits me well in the hips. I will try again next year to get a ladies sweater fleece that is better designed.

This is a really lovely jacket but the sizing is off. I ordered a large as I read many reviews and it should have fit. It was too small and I know the xl would be to big. It was the same way in the Men's. Xl was a tent and lg was too tight. No jackets for us this year.

I was about to order a replacement for the one I've been wearing almost daily in the winter for the past few years .... until I saw the logo. So, nope!

I returned it to the store when I realized it had the LLB logo sewed to the jacket. I choose not to be an advertisement. Too bad - last years model was without the logo.

Will NOT buy any more this season, hopefully will not be so glaringly obvious next year!! In fact logo is on everything, would like to buy more but NOT with that bright logo.... I also removed before washing and worked OK, but a bother

This jacket is beautiful but very, very small! I am normally a size 14 and I like my jacket a little large, so I ordered an XL. I could hardly zip it and the sleeves were very tight. The largest size for this jacket is XL, so I couldn't get a larger size. I am very disappointed as it is a really nice jacket.
