Runs small. The petite size is very short. I wish I had ordered a size up and not petite.

I bought this jacket in gray before and it did not have a label on the front. The new ones do and I thought it was tacky and removed it. And the color is dark purple, not "muted purple". I also bought the vest in "muted purple" and it is a beautiful lavender (although it too now has the tacky label on the front). BOO to marketing.

I really didn't like it. A size large was so snug across the chest, it felt weird to me. I normally wear a size medium but buy the large in certain items, usually tops and jackets for added flexibility and roominess. The sleeves are very snug and don't have any room for movement. But this is not a match for me. The material is very stiff, the zipper bunches up and forms a bump, or pouch over the torso. Not at all flattering. Finally, the brand logo on the front is very annoying to me. It looks like a spot of dirt or a stain. I refuse to wear visibly branded clothing. I returned this.

Generally I love LLB. But this jacket is far beneath their usual quality. The cut is not fitted as stated, it is boxy and has a weirdly cut shape. The arms look and feel like they are made from cardboard. The overall fit is boxy, not a feminine boxy but almost cut for a youth or man. I particularly dislike the material. Advertised as a soft fleece, it lacks movement and flow around the bust, shoulders, torso and waist. The material is stiff and doesn't move with you; feels more like I am encased in a shroud. It's tight across the shoulders and torso, and flattens over the bust. Thankfully, I am not well-endowed in the bust because in this jacket, the cut across the bust would make me look like HumV up-armored vehicle. This is the most unflattering, unfeminine jacket I have even tried on. As for the color, it is not a lavendar, purple, heather, or any pastel shade. It looks like a bad blue-green-red dye job that wasn't well matched. It's not a nice looking jacket, period. Finally, the last thing that I really dislike is the logo-tag. LLB never used to show their brand, now it seems to be the thing to do, and it's visible on just about every single product. It takes the brand down IMO, not up. Visible branding on any item is just ridiculous to me. If I wanted people to know the brand of clothing I am wearing, it would be by a very cleverly placed and subtle icon-surely not a large label in black and white block print that advertises a low-budget clothing manufacturer. It looks cheap and tacky. Even if every other thing about this jacket was perfect, I'd still be returning based on the stupid looking branding label. This is a huge fail for me!

I wanted to love this, but . . . . First the good; the knit on the outside is attractive and soft. The inside is brushed, also very soft. The downside: this fit in the shoulders, but, in spite of the princess seams, this jacket is not at all fitted. Also, at this length, when you sit down, the fabric pooches in the mid section. What woman wants her tummy and hips to look bigger? I am looking for style and function. This jacket is going back.

I was disappointed that for the price of this jacket, you cannot get a snug fit of the collar around your neck, thus making it not a good jacket in cool or windy weather. I tried zipping the collar all the way up and then turning it down. Even this doesn't work, as the fabric is stiff and not conducive to being turned down.

Loved wearing this sweater. Got the pewter color. BUT the areas under the arms all the way down to the pockets are "pilling" and no longer soft and smooth. Feels rough now. So disappointed. Ordered it in June 2019/didn't wear it till around Christmas time; started showing wear after a couple of months. Should have sent it back then/too late now.

Wanted to love this - did love it.....except. Loved the fabric. Length was good on my 5' 5" frame. Great fit at hips, waist, and chest. However, the shoulders and arms were cut so skimpy it was a deal breaker. Shoulders, arm holes, and sleeves were too tight. Even a thin shirt underneath felt too binding. I would have expected the fit to allow for something at least mid-weight underneath. I am sending this back for a refund. Too bad; I would have liked to have kept it.

I like the shape of the sweater and the feel. It fits well and is nice to wear around the house when there's a nip in the air. I'm disappointed in the fabric -- it pills! The piping around the cuffs doesn't hold up well either, even after a few wearings. Beware of washing this with other clothes, because it attracts lint in the wash. I, too, don't like the obvious LLBean logo on the front of the sweater. (The previous version didn't have it.) $89 is too much to pay for this sweater.

The garment is stiff and misrepresented in the picture. Shoulders don't sit right on my body. It calls itself a sweater fleece full zip jacket but I don't believe this material is fleece at all. More like a sweater knitted of a stiff cheap material.

Overall this jacket fit perfectly. But you would think the designers would realize that if I'm big enough to need a jacket this big, that my upper arms aren't twigs! I couldn't even wear a thin tee under this jacket. Very disappointed. I sent it back.

Hard to get sleeves on and off. They are fleece and stick to your other clothes. Better if lined.

I really wanted to love this jacket, but it was too small, I hate logos, and the texture of the jacket was scratchy!

The jacket looks nice, true to picture. I didn't find it too warm, but it might be because it was still too loose on me. The main issue I had was that the left pocket zipper broke after wearing it for just a week. For this price, I felt that was ridiculous.

I was very excited about this. But it turned out to be way too short at the waist (and I am not tall). And the return process was complicated as well. Overall, not good.

The main problem is that this jacket has NO give, and fleece and sweaters usually do. The inner-fleece lining is backed on the outside by a stiff "cardboard-like" material that isn't really sweater-like, although it is a tight knit. Consequentially, although the fit looks perfect, if I move my arms up or to the front, it is is constricting across the back. The upper arms are also too narrow for complete comfort. Basically, it wears more like armor than a sweater lined with fleece! SO, without the "give" of a little more room, or a little added stretch, I sent it back. Alas, not fun to wear.

This is exactly what I'm looking for to layer under my parka. And then to wear as a sweater, once said parka is removed. But the huge ugly tag!!! What the heck, I want the sweater type of fleece because they look nicer more like a sweater and less like athletic wear, the tag is ugly. Just bought the plush fleece jacket and it has a very small tag at the very bottom hem of the jacket. It's lovely. Seems like quite a lot of us object to the tag LL Bean!!! Checkout the reviews.

I am very disappointed that a simple sweater/jacket that cost $89.00 would have to be returned after I only wore it about 5 times. I bought it in late April 2019. The zipper on the side pocket broke. What? I have maybe put my hand in the pocket twice? Now I have to drive 28 miles to the Mall of America, battle parking and return the item. Sheesh. I have not even washed it yet - too new. Very disappointed.

The sweater fleece is a well-made quality product that fits true to size. I just did not like the fit and appearance on my hourglass frame.

I love the color. I love the fit. I love the fabric. What I DON'T love is the non-removable label on the front of the jacket. It is not subtle and is clearly an advertisement. I have worn your products for years and was SO disappointed that you have ruined a perfectly good jacket. This will be the last jacket I purchase if you continue this practice.

While it is a nice pull over, I would not buy this because of the large logo on the front.

Wanted to like this: color fine, zipper good quality; fit true. However, I was very unhappy, even after laundering, that the bottom of the jacket stands out away from my body! It is very unflattering, so I'm returning it.

Eh. I got this "sweater" fleece. Thinner fabric than one might think. Looks kind of knit from the outside. Inside looks like a sweat shirt, and a very thin one at that. Not even a thick sweat shirt, but like a thin cheap sweatshirt. It is much thinner than a similar Men's one I had bought before. Not even anywhere close to the quality of the Men's one. (I did admittedly buy the Men's one 2 years ago. Could be the quality of the Men's one has declined since.) I had thought this would be a nice thick, heavy, cozy "jacket". Nope. The zippers are good. The collar is stiff so it is never going down and pushes my hair out unnaturally. I would not call this a "sweater". I would call it a thin sweatshirt. I still like it in some ways. Could be okay with it. But given the price of this sweatshirt, it is not worth keeping. Returning. Really disappointed in the quality. I expected more from Bean.

The quality of this is fine, but trying to select the right size was very difficult. I had to send it back for that reason.
