I was looking for something that I could wear in lieu of a sweater that was not so "fitting" and that I could wear as a layer if needed. This jacket was perfect. The fleecing on the inside made it comfortable and warm. I can wear it inside as a warm layer year round and then again outside as a jacket with a down vest for those cold winter days when I do not feel like wearing a bulky coat. The length is perfect because it covers my bottom without feeling like there is a gap riding above my waist for drafts to creep in. Love this!!

I bought this for my 89 year young mother for warmth and ease of putting it on. She doesn't like tight or hugging clothing so even though a medium fit well around her hips and tummy she wanted a looser fit. She is 5 ft and weighs 106 so a large petite fit well and looks fabulous on her. She gets hot then cold often so having a full zip makes it easy to put on and take off. Excellent workmanship and style!

This sweater fleece jacket is so comfortable and warm! I can layer it under a lighter weight coat if needed. Many people have complimented the look of the jacket on me! The fit is perfect with the length and sleeve length, unlike a fleece jacket that I bought last year that needed to be downsized to an XS.

I just got this in the sienna clay color. Love it so far! I see where many reviews commented on not liking the logo. That was actually a huge selling point for me as I proudly wear my LLBean attire! It is snuggly warm and long enough to wear with an untucked jean shirt underneath. Will get it in another color (either evening blue or kelp green) once I wash it a few times to see how it wears. Only washed it once so far and want to make sure the outside "sweater" material doesn't pill.

I bought the petite size and it is great. I have 3 colors and am waiting for the forth on back order. It nicer than the fuzzier fleeces and great for travel--a little more wild resistant, comfortable, and looks greater with a little nicer slacks or jeans I layered it when traveling up north and use it for Florida winters.

I loved the color and the weight. What is don't care for is the label on the front.

Bought in sapphire as jacket for gym. Fits well, right sleeve length, good body length (not too short), warm enough on cool days to wear by itself, warm enough for coldest days under a coat. Nice color. I prefer clothes without brand labels so I removed the label on the front of the jacket by unpicking it, and it came off without causing damage. I was glad the label was a removable piece of fabric and not a logo stitched into the garment.

I've worn my LL Bean sweater fleece full sip jacket several times and received compliments. It's smart and trim looking and just right for cool, crisp weather in CT and it's a little more coverage than a cotton sweatshirt. I can wear it on a long walk and not be cold or over-heated. I haven't washed it yet and hope it retains its shape and size.The oatmeal color blends well with other colors.

Perfect sweater jacket for cooler temperatures or for those like me who prefer not to wear a heavy jacket while driving.

I bought the rust jacket at the flagship LLBean store and instantly fell in love. It's fitted and slimming yet very warm. And I personally LOVE the label. I live in Seattle, which has no LLBean presence, so I like to show off my LLBean wear. I bought 2 more online when I got home. Fits well under my down jacket or as a top layer around the office or at home. It's sharp-looking yet comforable. Dresses up or down. I'm tempted to buy more!

I love everything about this jacket! From the beautiful blue color to the size and weight. It's perfect for cool, fall weather and if I wear my vest over it, it's a great early winter jacket!

This is a very versatile jacket that provides excellent wind resistance, warmth, in a clean design. It can be worn as is as a jacket, or it can be layered with other clothing. I loved it so much that I now own three!

I was hesitant at first as the jacket was exact fit and usually I wear looser fitting clothes but it looked great and I was surprised it was very warm and comfortable! Really love it! Burnt orange color wouldn't have been first choice but it's lovely!

My fleece sweater arrived the day before I left for a road trip to New Mexico and Arizona. I took it along partly because of the timing of my purchase although I had other jackets I thought I'd need. It quickly became my "go-to" jacket for nearly all occasions! From 30s in the morning at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to windy afternoons at the Desert View overlook, it worked so well. As I hung it up in my closet upon returning home, I knew I'd be able to "downsize" several of my other jackets now.

Ok, to be honest, I may own more than one of these(!!)...but they are one of my favorite LL Bean products of all time...that's saying something because I've been buying Bean for several decades! The weight is just right, fits very comfortably. And so versatile...I wear it alone as a jacket when temperatures allow, or use it is a layering piece when it gets cold here in upstate NY. You will not be disappointed if you choose this item.

I differ from many reviews....I actually LOVE the logo!! I saw this last year, and I thought the pullover version was cuter because it included the logo, so I was happy to see LL Bean included it this year. I ordered both the petite small and petite XS to compare sizes. I'm 5'3'' 115 lbs, 32C. The XSPetite fit, but it was tighter in the chest and probably wouldn't work well for layering. I went with the Petite Small and am very happy with it! Hight recommended!! Inside is so soft, and the arm zip pocket comes in handy for keys or cash. What I'm not happy with- When I sent back the size I didn't go with, LLBean issued a store credit and not a full refund!!!! I sent this back within 30 days- well within their one year return policy. I was comparing sizes and returned the size that did not fit. This is unacceptable, and goes against the good things I've heard about LL Bean's customer service. I've emailed LL Bean, and I expect a response and a refund in my ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT!
