I own two sweater fleece zip jackets, one in sapphire blue in XL and one in navy in L. I wear the XL all day, every day, when I'm home as it is roomy and comfy. The navy sweater fleece in size L is used when I go out because it's more snug and flattering. I think these fleeces tend to run a little small. Normally, a size large would be on the loose side for me. Nonetheless, they are great-looking jackets, and I am always complimented when wearing either of them.

This fleece is ideal for 3 season wear. It easily goes from jeans/sweatsuit to looking great with a turtleneck & khaki pants. Thank you LLBean for another great item!

When I put this on and realized how warm and comfortable it was, I felt inspired to write a review. I spend a lot of time reading others' and wanted to share in the positive feedback about this jacket. The sizing is perfect -- I also have the half-zip and this one is truer to size than that is. The sailcloth color is super pretty, and even back-ordered it came within a week. I have zero chills when wearing it. I happened to get it 25% off which is a deal; I think the full price is actually fair for the quality you're getting and compared to similar items from other brands. It's also nice enough to layer at work (I'm a teacher). Would love to see it in black next year. Keep this product, Bean!

I love the LLBean Sweater fleeces. They are warm and a little dressier than the fitness or comfort fleece. The Petite Medium fit me well, but I like things a touch roomy. I got the Evening Blue color and the actual color is a bit muddier than the color pictured on-line, but I still like it. I agree with other reviewers that the LLBean Label on the front needs to go. I have the same fleece in gray from a few years ago and it does not have the label. It looks so much nicer and less casual. I would love this in a pretty plum color.

Purchased this jacket several years ago and wore it out. Perfect Fall and Spring jacket here in California. Stylish. Beautiful color- teal. Washable (I dry on a hanger.) Comfortable. Excellent quality. The new jacket is just like the original- I popped it on and immediately began receiving compliments. 5 Stars

I really love this. I wear it often as a layer and for yard work, dog walking, you name it. It's thicker than I expected but really nice quality.

cosy, comfy, fits well

Before I begin, I love the sweater and returned to buy more after purchasing 2 for my husband and 2 for myself last spring. Luckily, it was before the decision was made to put the LLBean label on the front. I don't like to outright advertise who I bought a $79 sweater from but would be happy to tell someone where I bought it if they should ask. Please rethink placing labels on something that could be so classy if not for the label.

I wasn't sure what a sweater fleece is. I love it. The close knit texture of the outer layer looks nice and doesn't snag. The fleece inner layer makes it cozy warm - almost too warm for inside. But often I want that for winter months.

A teacher recommended this and I can't thank her enough it has been fabulous indoors and out. It's very durable, comfortable and sized just right. Great for work and pleasure-a little fancier than your every day sweatshirt. (form fitting enough that you can still have a room for a sweater underneath). Even when I don't have this lightweight jacket on I still recommend it to people. No pilling like your fleece jackets do after a while. Finally something we can all praise L.L. Bean for!

I really like this fleece, but I caution that it can run a bit large. I typically get away with a small regular in most things, since the xsmall regular was backordered I tried the small petite, but it definitely fit large. I exchanged it for the canal petite and the fit is much better, still allows me to put it over a sweater with no problems. Thick and warm, soft and comfortable. I like the color as well (I got the tan).

This is the second one I've bought. It is my "go to" jacket for running errands, etc., in the winter. Will it keep you warm in sub-zero weather for a prolonged time? No. But, it is perfect (lightweight, decently warm, good pockets, machine washable) for everyday running around, and it looks good, too!

Wanted a sweater jacket just like this for years but couldn't find one that fit right. The petite size is perfect for me. It would be big on anyone smaller than me though. I wish they made a black or soft black. I wore this every day for a week after I got this.

So warm and soft. The label on the front does not look bad at all. When I go to outdoor stores most of the expensive jackets have a label of some kind on them. I have a jacket that was $250 that has a label.

Love this jacket - just right for cool days. Not too heavy and not too light. Jacket fits true to size. Purchased a Medium and fits well overall. I like the color too - neutral enough to wear with anything. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

I love the label and LL Beans competitiveness with another brand. True to the size and very comfortable working outside. Pockets and zippers are perfectly placed. Washes well I recommend hang drying.

I love these sweater fleeces. I have two and they are wonderful! They wash well and are very warm. The pocket arrangement is terrific for podcast listeners and they breathe. I logged on today to buy a third one because I can't resist the new shade of blue. Highly recommended. I also bought a man's sweater fleece for a Christmas gift and I hope it's as good as the women's model.

Ugly, gaudy, gross, and eye sore label!! It's huge and distasteful!! Get rid of it!! The jacket is fantastic...except for that label!!

I love this fleece jacket. I believe it is true to size however I believe I could of made due with an X-Small. I wasn't' sure so I purchased the Small. I am happy with the color (sailcloth). I will be using it as a laying piece. Zippered pockets outside and pockets inside = great! Plus a bonus sleeve pocket. Quality product.

I purchased the petite L and it is a perfect fit, not too sloppy and not clingy, long enough but not too long. I can easily wear a turtle neck underneath with plenty of room. It is well made and launders very well. I wash it in warm and hang it to dry, sometimes low heat to fluff. It does not pill like other sweater fleece items I've had. Love this jacket! I now have this in 4 colors, I always get compliments on the periwinkle color. Please offer the green in Petite a black would also be nice.
