This is a nice thick sweater with nice style lines. I love a sweater with pockets and, while these pockets are not as large as I might like, neither are they small. However I found I was both too warm and too cool at the same time, maybe because the arms are a little tight and the front open. Other LLBean clothes I have in the same size (1x) fit more comfortably.

A really versatile and flattering addition to my wardrobe. Ideal weight for me; warm but also breathable.

This is a great sweater, but I was disappointed when I tried it on to see that three inches have been removed from the length compared to the same sweater (Natural color & same size) I purchased last year. The sleeves are shorter and tighter, and It also seems tighter all around. I'm normally a petite, but the store didn't carry it in petite. I tried on the regular, and I loved that it was long and covered my front well. I'm 72, and my breasts have gotten larger, so last year's sweater was great. I still like this sweater, and it fits okay, but just a bit too snugly, and I feel I have to keep pulling the two sides over my breasts. It's a shame that most of your sweaters are geared for young, thin women. I am not a plus, so I'm in a strange category. That's why I loved last year's sweater better than this one.

Very nice sweater. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a bit tight. It has a beautiful hang to it.

Heavy and warm is exactly what I need instead of a jacket for Florida. I ordered my usual size and had to return and exchange to wear it with any top I owned. Still a struggle to get arms in sweater but now I can.

I love the sweater but it is a size too small. It did not come with a store exchange sheet inside or with a usable return envelope, so I may have to go to the nearest LL Bean store in person to exchange it. Unfortunate.

I really love the marled yarn used for this sweater. It's soft, warm and pretty. I also like that the pockets are angled so it's easier to get your hands in. The only reason it gets four stars instead of five is because I had to size up (other reviewers said it ran small).

I ordered a medium and it fit well in the body, but tight in the arms. I would not be able to wear a long sleeve shirt under this sweater. I normally wear a size small but I think a large may fit better. The fabric of this sweater is thick enough to be warm and feels cozy.

I returned this sweater. I was looking for a light weight sweater and this one was too heavy. From the pictures I thought I was ordering a grey sweater but it was mixed colors. Quality seemed fine.

I wish I had ordered one size up so this sweater would be roomier. It is beautiful and will get lots of wear when I put it over short-sleeved tops.

This didn't fit as well as the older version that I have. I did return it and will try something else. The sleeves are a bit tight over another long sleeve top and it didn't hang well in the back. Quality of the sweater was fine.

This sweater has become my go-to cardigan when needed. The only draw back is the large is not really large enough for a 77yr old body. The sleeves are a bit snug and the body of the sweater fits snugger than what the description depicted. LL Bean needs to step up and start using more consistent sizing for ALL shapes and sizes.

I haven't worn this sweater yet as I bought it for a trip to the UK this fall. It is lovely and comfortable though, with a nice rich color - I bought the dark gray. I'm sure it will be useful for my trip and for winter in SoCal.

Sweater runs a little small but has stretched out some. I really like the weight and texture; it was perfect for a small ship cruise we were on, and I have been wearing it frequently at home. One issue: the quality of the finish work was lacking; where it was seamed there were gaps and where the two ends of the yarn were knotted, I had to use a crochet hook, lasso the ends and re-tie them. Have not washed it yet and hope that it will not shrink.

I bought this sweater in 'natural' a year or so ago, and love it. This year I bought the rest of the colors, and am a little disappointed, because the sleeves are more snug, even with having ordered a 1X, instead of my usual XL, leaving less room to comfortably layer tops underneath them. That being said, it is a nice weight cotton sweater for all seasons.

Nice medium weight sweater, but you probably want to order a size up. I did, and it's still tight-ish, doesn't have any give. The arms are somewhat narrow, so it's hard to layer underneath. Still, it's a versatile piece.

The sweater keeps you warm if you need it, but can feel cool enough to wear in warm weather. I love this sweater!

Fit is good and what I feel is true to size. Very disappointed that a 100% cotton sweater would pill on the sleeves after only having been worn about 4 or 5 times.

Great fit, comfortable, goes with any thing you would wear.

A little snug but good quality. The cotton fabric seems resilient after washing.
