This sweater is similar the LL ,Bean sweaters I bought about 8 years ago that remain my favorites. They have held up well, and despite their age and regular wearing, look pretty good, so I am hoping this sweater will be as good. The weight is good for late fall into winter. I actually haven't been able to wear it yet and am looking forward to a day soon when I can. I got the red which is very attractive and happy, ideal for the dark days ahead.

This sweater is exactly as advertised. Perfect fit, soft, medium weight--just right! Feels expensive, not flimsy.

This sweater is so comfortable, I could wear it every day. It is a sweater you can wear pretty much year around. It fits perfectly and wash well. I highly recommend this sweater.

I am very happy with the sweater. I got the pink one and it is a true pink. It fit's well. Thinking about getting the grey one!

I want to order another color ! The neck is perfect its warm, but not too warm, the cotton is super soft, washes up nicely and air dries. The marl blue is really a nice navy color. I am 5'2 and weigh 107 with a 34 bust and I have to say its perfect !

What a great sweater. Flattering on my short waisted self and comfortable, warm but not too hot. Going to order it in a few more colors.

This sweater is a joy to wear. It felt wonderful pulling it on as soon as it was delivered. So nice..Like a warm friend as my dad would say. I would never put a sweater in the dryer and this one is no exception. It washed beautifully and the bright red color didn't bleed. I draped it over my clothes line outside until almost dry then brought it in and laid it flat on a towel. I see that that color is already sold out and I'm not surprised. Love it!!

Sorry for the long review, but my mind is blown on how amazing this sweater is. I bought this to replace my favorite and perfect sweater which was thrift store find over a decade ago-- also a cotton funnel neck sweater from a defunct brand. As of 2017 it started becoming threadbare and falling apart in areas from wearing it so often. I only held onto it, even it's desperate state, because I was convinced I would never find something remotely similar. Finally in 2020, I found something almost identical--this was what came up after various attempts over the last few years to find one. I can now retire the old one, because this sweater is just as perfect, if not better in some respects. Just like the old one, the cotton is so comfortable you can wear it with just a tank underneath if need be. It fits great-- it is slightly on the looser side though (not a bad thing for winter layering). It's also a tiny bit long for a petite size sweater, but it's not bothersome. I usually wear size L (for my large bust) but I ordered a medium so that it wouldn't be too baggy-- I could have easily ordered a small and it would have just been more fitted. Even as a medium it is still nicely flattering and not boxy. I appreciate the petite sleeve size. I prefer the cuffs to hit my wrists, and they do. I ordered oatmeal and it's an absolutely lovely color! The only thing I would consider a downside is the price-- it was really high for me. I would normally not spend $50+ on a single piece of clothing (sight unseen) due to my budget. However, this was absolutely worth every single penny after having tried it on. This is pure quality! I cannot wait for it to get colder so I can start wearing it all the time. I highly recommend! If I come into some extra cash, I will be definitely buying a second one.

I bought this sweater because I loved the red current color which was exactly as pictured. The fit is spot on and it is perfect for layering.

The sweater just arrived and i love the look and the fit. The material is soft, not itchy. It'll be a good sweater worn with a vest or coat. The length is just right, hits below the hips. I know I'll wear the heck out of it!

I expected this sweater to be soft but limp and thin. Happily it is soft and has a comfortable weight and a nice drape. I love the non-binding funnel neck. I ordered Petite Small and am very happy with the fit. The red is a beautiful, cozy color. I have since ordered another.

Soft and comfortable with nice roomy fit. Perfect weight. Neither light nor heavy Sleeves are nice and long which always is a problem for me to find. Love the funnelneck as well. Haven't washed it yet but think it should be fine.

I am enjoying several of these cotton ragg sweaters. The funnel neck is just right for me giving warmth and comfort. I like the finish look of the funnel collar for fall and winter. The medium size fits me well with or without a tee shirt underneath. This sweater washes nicely with minimal linting and I have found no shrinkage with either hanging dry only or drying for few minutes then laying on my sweater rack. Very versatile for spring, fall, or winter.

LLBean has really nice quality for most everything. I'm a fan. I love the color and quality of this sweater.

I likethe funnel nick as its warmer than the loose neck crew. I ordered a regular as I had tried the petite and the sleeves were too short. the regular has a little more room than the petite which i like.

I purchased a regular small. It fits very well and the sleeves are not too long! I also purchased another sweater first and it was size smal/regularl made of cotton linen. I am hooked. I love to read all the reviews before I purchase anything at all!! I am now wanting the Women's cotton ragg Sweater open cardigan and debating on the size. I am 59 and my mid section isn't as small as when I was younger even tho I stay active,

This cotton sweater was a great find in red (maybe rust?) and the fit was so good we got another in green, too. Can't beat the funnelneck styling, either. Very pleased with this sweater; very warm too.

This is a great cotton sweater with wonderful colors. Ordered all colors but the dark grey. Overall length of the sweater as well as sleeve length is perfect for my height. It is a perfect weight for wear, fall through spring in the Pacific Northwest. Also perfect for pairing with llbean lightweight flannel shirts. Have had many compliments.

I love the oatmeal color of this sweater and the weight is great for mild winters in NC. I would say LL Bean tops have a generous fit. In other brands I would probably need a small instead of XS

Bought this in PS - excellent casual fit, and the funnel neck is just right; love the bright navy color -it is well-named.
