Bought this in the teal color a few weeks ago and have been wearing it every chance I get as the weather cools in Michigan. The small fits perfectly - definitely a slim style on my average frame but supremely comfortable. The medium would have been bulky and oversized, which might suit others' tastes depending on what you plan to wear beneath it.. The arms are a tad long (which happens to me frequently with LL Bean, and my arms are average length for my height) but that is my ONLY modest complaint. Best aspects are 1) the thickness and warmth and quality of the fleece and 2) the quality of the construction. I get a ton of compliments on it and am seriously considering buying it in a second color.

The jacket is warm, cozy and the perfect color. My only issue is the bottom of the jacket cut is far too wide and wind does get up from the bottom up. Other than this, it is true to LLBean quality and everything you expect from this house. It's a must have.

The LL Bean sweater jacket is the perfect fit for me. It is a bit longer (hip length) and not too snug or too loose. I can still layer under or over it, depending on the weather. I live in the midwest so I know I will wear this often. I wanted a sweater jacket for a while, and had shopped other brands. This was the best fit and the best price.

I can't say enough good things about this jacket. I just bought my fourth - for variety, not because any of my older ones have worn out - I have different colors and some with hoods, some without. I've been looking for something like this in red so was thrilled to see the color in the mix this season. It's a deep, ever so slightly faded red, and truly red - not pink or magenta red, not orange red. Really nice, and pretty much what I was hoping for. Size is consistent with all my others (bought at different times over multiple years). It's a tiny bit roomy on me, but I tend to wear lots of layers and this fits very comfortably over them, without looking like a tent. I'm long-bodied and long-armed and this fits perfectly - thank you Bean!!

I love the feel and fit of the fabric. Also the warmth is perfect. I usually wear a Medium in most shirts/sweaters/jackets. Sometimes due to the particular cut of garment, I can wear a small as was the case with this. I tried in both the medium and small in the store. Medium fit ok, but the sweep around my upper hips left too much room for cold air to get in. The small was of course more fitted. Even so, I can easily wear a turtle neck underneath, even with a thin insulated base layer under that. If I wear an additional layer with this type of sweater/jacket it would usually be either a vest or a jacket on top.

Love this jacket, own two, a teal green and a lavender. The pockets are the best-zippered pocket on each side, generous inside pocket, plus zippered pocket on left sleeve. Great jacket for walking my dog, carrying my iPhone, keys and extras.

Fits perfectly and looks slightly tailored without being too slim. I recently wore this jacket every day on a cross country camping trip and it transitions well from campsite to nice restaurants (outdoor seating of course so it came in handy). I've machine washed and line dried it a couple of times and it is holding its shape. I'm thinking of getting another in a different color. Highly recommend!

I'm always a difficult fit in both clothing and shoes but this jacket fits me well. I'm petite but full at the hips so I always get the regular size for adequate hip coverage. The style is quite versatile, tailored yet also rugged. The material is somewhat rough-textured but appears durable. Have washed them many times and they look the same. Love it so much I have it in several different colors.

I bought the silver color sweater fleece a couple of years ago and love it. I kept looking at this blue color and finally decided to get it too. It fits so well and has nice lines. It does look more like a sweater and is plenty warm in the cooler times. I'm more cool natured and like the warmer sweaters. I love this color and expect that I'll wear it a lot this winter.

I absolutely love this fleece. It's comfy, warm, and actually kind of flattering - which most fleeces aren't. I love the adobe rose color that I got - it's pretty neutral but also pretty. I've worn it almost everyday since I got it.

Quality construction, fit is just right with sleeves that are long enough. Good hip length. Color is outstanding!

The sweater fleece jacket is perfect for Georgia winters. It is very comfortable and the outer knit looks great for any place you go. I wish they had solid colors instead of the heathered colors. I also do not like the Bean label on the front. I took it off. It's a great jacket for anyone.

I have two other pull over fleece jackets and decided to purchase the zippered jacket in the red.I probably could have gotten the 1x but I wanted it roomy to add a vest under the fleece jacket.With an L.L.Bean vest under it is toasty warm and very comfortable.

I wanted a new hoodie that was roomy enough for warm clothing underneath. A size large was perfect. It's warm and comfortable and very good looking. Worth every penny.

I have had my eye on this jacket for a while but in a blue color that was a bit more money. Frugal me decided on this Spruce Green instead and I am truly delighted with the brilliant color. Very glad I decided on this one. My only negative which it's probably just me I don't care to have the LLBEAN logo on the top front. It would be better for me if it were at least smaller lettering.

I LOVE this. I think it's actually a petite lg but that size wasn't listed above so I checked large. I was pleasantly surprised. Warm, but not too warm. Great for a cool evening. No binding areas, such as I have noticed with some high neck vests or jackets. Can zip up from bottom easily around my voluptuous hips without it being too tight or strange looking. Flattering. Soft and fleecyish but breathes better than most fleece. bought the lavender one which is on the grey side, goes with a lot of colors. Bought it for a trip to Yellowstone but we ended up going east to Utah and it was still perfect.

Fit is great , both in sleeve length and long enough in front and back for extra warmth. Well below hips and it is nicely tapered for my slim figure and long torso.

The fit and comfort of this jacket is phenomenal. Its perfect for the cooler weather we are having now. Its soft and cozy.

I absolutely loved my sweater fleece pullover, and this zipper jacket did not disappoint! It's so soft, warm enough for chilly fall days, and the color is gorgeous. I like that the pockets have zippers and the side arm pocket is handy for my key when I go out and don't want to bring a bag.
