After having mistakenly ordered a regular jacket, I returned that and ordered a petite. All this allowed me to see the difference -- if you're short like me (5'1"), a petite jacket really does flatter a petite body. And this one looks smart and tidy, as well as being a great insulator against the cold. I would say I'll easily wear it out after a few winters and will be right back to Bean's to buy my next one. Excellent design, LL Bean.

The red jacket is a rich color and fits well. I bought the petite XS. I had to have the sleeves shortened, which is not unusual for me. It's roomy, but not too roomy.

The small runs way too large, I should have gotten an x small. The color is quite nice

My wife loves the color and has received many compliments.

Surprise purchase and I love it - fit and color are great, worn as a jacket or under layer in this cold winter weather.

This sweater/lightweight jacket is perfect for cool Florida mornings. This is my second sweater (different color) and the first is still like new, with no pilling, after many washes. The fit is roomy enough to wear a sweater under. The light blue is a beautiful color. The inside is soft and comfortable. The length comes down over my tush in the back which blocks cool breezes and creates a nice line.

Warm and comfortable. I have the gray and 'purple' jacket. Goes with anything. I wear it by itself with gray or black jeans. I bought an S Petite.

Nice & warm. Loved the color. Only issue is the sleeves are too long & I needed to roll them up or shorten them - which is what I did.

This is a warm and relatively dressy jacket. I wanted to buy another in black, but unfortunately that wasn't an option.

This jacket is so much warmer than any fleece jacket. I call it my house coat as I wear it all day in my chilly house.

Perfect for Northwest Winters when you don't usually need a jacket. This fleece is soft and warm. It is the third LL Bean fleece I own. They wash well, too.

When this jacket arrived I was surprised at how substantial it is. But after wearing it for a few days, I found it to be my favorite jacket/fleece. It fits well and the green color is perfect for me. This keeps me warm around the house (winter in New England), and was also very useful for outdoor wear in a recent trip to California.

I would usually wear a reg. M. but they were out of stock so a P. L. was bought. Good choice, sleeve just the right length as is the back coverage. I like the red because it's quite noticeable while walking on the roads. The weight is good for under a winter coat and as a 'sweater'.
