I love this jacket. It is warm, soft and comfortable. I did have to try several sizes to find the one that fir properly.

This is a very nicely made sweater fleece. I ordered a 1X size for my plus frame and although it fits, the "eggplant" looks a little too much for it. I would have preferred black but LLBean doesn't carry it in black. I will keep this none-the-less because it is very warm and I need that in my wardrobe without having to carry a coat around.

It is warm and comfy, but the collar is not flexible enough

This jacket fits well (I purchased a tall size). It is surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is.
Was a little disappointed in the color. The tealish color has black speckling which I did not notice online.

I love this jacket. It's perfect for fall weather. I had to size up in order to be able to fit a sweater underneath.

Very very warm for its weight. Sturdy solid construction.Sleeves a bit too narrow or fitted (perhaps this is just a concern for the "mature" customer) could be better suited for the "carrot"physique rather than the "cucumber"!

Thinner then previous years. Still love. Not as warm as I'd like.

Stopped at LL Bean in Freeport on way to sailing on the windjammers of Maine, I shop at LL Bean on my way each time I go sailing on the Victory Chimes.
This year I needed a lighter weight jacket. and a few more t-shirts
Sales person was very helpful and knew what items to show me.
Was in and out of store in record time and didn't miss the boat.
I will be back again next September. To shop and go sailing.

but...... a serious design error occurred when the decision was made to use an off-white fabric for the pocket lining - as another poster wrote: 'what were you thinking?' - it is so noticeable, it cheapens what is a staple in the wardrobe - gray lining, black lining.... a matching color lining......are obviously much better color/design choices -
i purchased the arctic blue to add to my collection of these wonderful sweater fleece jackets ..... but there is disappointment w/ the poor choice of pocket lining fabric (thus 4 instead of 5 stars) - i still love the jacket and am not returning it (have been waiting a long time for a new color to be added to the selections ) -

Great jacket - would buy again! I wear it often. I am slender and often cold so this is a perfect jacket.

The "ll Bean" logo is not necessary and is a pompous distraction.

I love the fabric, so warm and soft. There are two things that could be better... the sleeves are very tight and the collar stands up and will not stay down (like the vest). I kept it because it's so warm but am disappointed in the fit.

Great warmth, great look. Ugly logo. Needed a creative seamstress to cover it up. Do we really need to do LLBean's marketing for free? Wish, if there needed to be a logo that it would be discreet and good looking.

Jacket fits well, is comfortable and looks very similar to those I have received on previous years. But the fleece is thinner and does not quite provide the warmth I want.

I like the color, fit and weight of this sweater jacket. It is the perfect weight for early spring. I purchased the teal blue and love the color. There are two cons for me: the collar style is a bit bothersome as it's designed to stand up instead of fold down and it rubs on my jawline; and, I would have liked the bottom length to be just a tad longer.

I like this sweater/jacket, love the color & the body fits well, BUT the sleeves are very slim. They are difficult to get over a flannel shirt & nigh to impossible over a sweater. They appear to be proportionally narrow compared to the item's body.

I enjoy wearing this jacket indoors on cold days with a t shirt. And I'll use it as a fall and spring jacket as well outside. It also layers easily under my down jacket in extreme cold weather.
I gave it a 4 star because I experience the collar being too high and too stiff, making it uncomfortable from rubbing against my jaw when it's fully zipped. And I have a long neck for my body size. Also when it's not fully zipped, the collar is very stiff and doesn't bend down easily and stay down.
This jacket also shrunk a bit when washed in warm water and dryer on high heat. I didn't care though because the sleeves were too long until it shrunk.

I purchased this thinking it would be a, soft relaxing color blue. To my dismay it has more of a green hue. I love ll beans fleeces and own 5, in xl, I do not like it tight. I just wish they will come up with a nice soft blue one.

I did not like the fit of this on me. I have yet to find a fleece I like from anywhere other than the tired one I have now. So I'm probably being too picky. The cut is a little big and not how it looks in the photos in my opinion. It also felt stiff, I'm sure it loosens up over time and becomes more mailable. In the end just not for me.

I love this jacket but I didn't buy this year. For the past two seasons the colors have been so drab. Bring back more brilliant colors next winter. Winter is drab enough. I would have bougt the eggplant if it hadn't been faded.

I have 6 of these jackets and practically live in them all fall, winter and early spring. They are great worn alone, over a tank top or a shirt. Wish LL Bean would make them in black, charcoal, royal blue, navy blue. I like the heathered fabric. My only complaint is that the stitching on the trim tape at the ends of the sleeves has come unraveled on two of my jackets after several washings, but I reattached them. No problem if you are handy with a needle and thread. Probably should have a double row of stitching.
