I love these jeans, because they feel like denim jeans. Since these have 90% cotton content - they are nice and stiff, like jeans are when they are new. I love them!

I went down one size as I usually do with this brand and they fit well. I like that these have a lot of cotton blend in them so that it's not too stretchy. Fabric is slightly thicker so it holds you in. The length is good for petite height.

I like Ami Skinny and usually the 14 fits me just right. This one did also. But the fabric, tho the dark denim color I wanted, is a little bit stiff and unyielding so it doesn't feel as soft and flexible as NYDJ fabric usually does. I'll return them and keep trying for something softer.

I bought and returned these once before but I've still been looking for dark blue slim/skinny jeans. In size 14, my usual NYDJ size, they fit nicely, but due to my lumpy knees (I think) they ride down after wearing a little while. I spent a lot of my try on time pulling them back up. So I'm returning them again. Darn it. I have some Ami Skinnys that don't do that, so I keep trying. Soft, fairly heavy weight denim.

Overall, a nice value. But I have the same age-old complaint about NYDJ: the Amy Skinny fabric is not as soft as I’d like and the waist is always too large on me. Size 0 fits more like a 4 (40) in Italian sizing.

Hips and thigh were roomier/baggier than expected; returned.
