I returned it because I took objection to the wide painted-on design.

My favorite item LL Bean currently sells. I have three colors. Very well made, nice looking, and comfortable and warm. Not a thick hoodie, but thick enough to provide warmth. I have gray and teal and navy. Very well designed and made. Love the kangaroo front pocket too. I am between a small and medium, but went with Medium so I can wear a shirt under it for added warmth. Ordered a man's version for my husband. It hasn't arrived yet. Thank you LL Bean.

This sweatshirt matches the description and is quite cozy, the colors are beautiful in person. I only gave it 4 stars because it fits larger than I expected, I am debating whether to return it and size down to a small. Either way, I don't believe you'll go wrong with this purchase!

By far, my favorite hoodie in my closet. Small fits great with a little extra room to layer if needed, could have gotten an X-Small for a tighter fit. Love the teal "spruce" color/design and super soft feel. A bit overpriced for any hoodie but was worth the "treat yo self " splurge.

I would love this if it was a bit smaller. It is way too big!

This is my new favorite hoodie! Longer than most, which works great for me since I have a long torso. Very soft and comfortable. The front pocket is sagging just a little, which bothers me a bit, but the hoodie is still my favorite.

I really like the color. The only thing I don't like is the kangaroo pocket. It has a funny pouching effect.

I'm an athletic build size medium and this sweatshirt fit but just not in a way I like so I returned it for a large. It was a slim style which in my opinion isn't how a sweatshirt should fit

Though I like the overall look of the sweatshirt I would not call it a true sweatshirt. It doesn't have that warm cozy feel, it is actually pretty thin in all reality. I would literally purchase this in every color if it was just thicker.

Though the Spruce Heather hoodie was cute it was thin for a hoodie item and an awkward fit on me. I ordered a large for layering over tee shirts but the shoulders were huge and I felt the bottom ribbing at the hip was a bit too snug. It seemed to all bunch up high on my pear shape and wouldn't work out for layering. It would most likely make a very nice spring/summer hoodie but not what I wanted for winter, so I had to return it.

Let me start by saying I love, love, love the graphic. And the length is great as a tunic style on me (5'2) and it is so soft. But I was actually shocked by how thin this sweatshirt is- more like a long sleeve t-shirt, so for the price point I was disappointed. Also due to the thinness, it tends to stretch out more than other sweatshirts.

This sweatshirt is very soft, warm and cozy! It does run a bit big, and is a little longer than I normally wear/ like.

Nice quality, and the Spruce color is lovely. Fitted well except for the neck, it just comes up to high on me. Really sad to return this one.

I really liked the design with the color bars, but I didn't want another grey sweatshirt, so I went with the heathered merlot color, which is really nice. I thought it might be a heavy, warm hoodie, but it's really soft and a thinner material -- good for when there's a chill in the air. It's true to size for a looser sweatshirt fit. I still wish the color bars design would be offered on other colors, though!

The quality of the hoodie was nice. The fit was not good for my body. The hoodie was cut very slim, and had no room for comfort. Therefore I'm returning the hoodie to L.L.Bean.

Bought this to replace one that has been my favorite for years. The new one is noticeably thinner than my old one. The color is pretty. It's more like a long sleeve shirt than a warm layer though.

This is more of a pullover shirt than a sweatshirt to me. The material is a thin and has an unusual drape and feeling to it. It might be warm but I wanted an old fashioned sweatshirt.

The golden orange sweatshirt is actually more of a dusty brick. I realize computer screens don't do a great job of showing true colors but this one is very disappointing. I wish Bean's women's clothing came in clearer warmer tones more often. They definitely lean to winter-summer skin tones with very few pure spring or autumn shades. This will likely go back.

I purchased this about five years ago, when they first introduced this style (different color combinations than are offered now) and I LOVED it. I loved it so much I purchased a second color back then. The first two were such nice fabric - cozy, medium weight, washes beautiful and worth every penny. So when I saw they came out in the Iron Blue color, I decided to get another one. Boy, was I disappointed - the fabric is so thin and flimsy compared to what it was just a few years earlier. Not worth the money so I sent it back.

I like this top, however the neck feels too restricting and is hard to get in and off. If this was changed, I'd buy them.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I’ve been wanting this hoodie for months. It went on sale so I finally bought it. So disappointed. It has no horizontal stretch! Very difficult to get over my head and even once on, my arm movement feels restricted. I’m a size 12-14/almost 6 feet and bought an XL hoping for roomy. Sleeves and hoodie are long enough, just not comfortable with the odd fabric. Also, I love the the screen print on the front, but it is very stiff so it lays weird on the chest area. I can see it will likely crack after a few washes. Returning.

Hard to give this a 3. But it is a little thinner, but high quality soft material. Runs small, had to send back to size up. Had thumbs holes, which I love.

I really miss the thickness, warmth, and internal fuzziness of older-style sweatshirts. So many brands have switched to this thinner, slightly slick material, and I just find it SO disappointing and NOT cozy. For the positives - I do love the colors, logo, and hoodie strings. It just wasn't what I was expecting from LL Bean quality.
