I LOVE my Oboz! These are by far my favorite hiking shoes I've ever had. I enjoy the bouncy cushioning and thick, solid soles that make for batter maneuverability control and traction. LOVE LOVE LOVE my super comfortable and very practical Sawtooth X Low Waterproof's!!

Shoes didn't fit. Asked for return label. Didn't send one. Asked again. No reply. Oboz customer service is not cool.

I love the sawtooth waterproof hikers. I buy two pair every year. I'm sorry to see the old model retired, but I think the new tread on this year's model will last longer. I put in 5-7 miles EVERY day, so I do go through them fast.

These were a replacement for a well worn pair of a previous version of the same waterproof low hiker. Neither the styling nor the comfort is quite as nice. I don't like looking down at my feet and seeing what look like old people's walking shoes. Though they seem much more padded inside, they're not as comfortable on my feet as the previous iteration. I also have two pairs of Oboz Bridger mid waterproof hikers, which I love. So, yes, I am disappointed.

I've had 2 pair of the old version of this Sawtooth X and the "new" version is definitely narrower in the toebox. Disappointing as this is a key feature for me. Have had the new ones on the stretcher for weeks now, hopefully they will stretch to a wider toe box so I can wear them. Very odd because I also have the snow boots and they are a great boot with wider toe box. Why would Oboz allow this to happen with this particular and popular model, i do not understand. Disappointed.

I haven't had the benefit of having multiple pairs of waterproof Sawtooth low hiking boots in the past, but these are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever had! They are lightweight, supportive, and good looking IMO. I wear thick socks with these so I bought a 1/2 size larger than normal. I would definitely buy another pair!

Shoe was too hard to get off and on due to laces all the way up to the top. My other 2 Oboz shoes have lace catches to finish lacing the shoes. Makes it easy in and out.

I bought three pair of hiking shoes from Beans. I returned two of the Oboz pair (a sawtooth that was not waterproof and the sapphire that didn't fit quit right for me) and kept the Sawtooth x low b-dry. Prior to purchasing I had gone to the store about a year ago to try on hiking shoes. I am DEVASTATED that Beans no longer carries Merrells. Those are the best for my feet. I tried the Bean hikers but they didn't come close to the Oboz quality. The elbows are probably the sturdiest shoe I have worn that wasn't an all leather boot. That being said, it is very stiff, to the point of possibly being too tight. A very, very sturdy shoe.

They were true to size, fairly comfortable right out of the box, and my feet remained dry after walking in very wet grass.

This pair of Oboz was not up to previous standards. It took a while to break them in and still hurts 3 months later at lateral side. One of the things I have always liked about my Oboz hiking boots and walking shoes is that they required no breaking in.

I need a new pair of hiking shoes since my LL Bean pair is OLD (like 15+ years old) and no longer has any cushioning. Purchased these based on reviews and style. I really wanted to like these and they did appear sturdy and well constructed, but they were just not comfortable for me. Toe box was tight, especially across the outside of my foot and my heel kept slipping out even with thicker socks. Debated keeping them to see if a break-in period would help, but given the price, decided to return as I would prefer something more comfortable out of the box. Seems like a good shoe, unfortunately just did not work for me.

I heard that Oboz has changed their width and it is definitely true. This shoe in Medium is now much more suited for a narrow foot. I tried on a Wide at a retailer and it was too wide. I'm sure some folks will be happy about this but it just won't work for me.

Unfortunately I had to return these boots. I have worn OBOZ for years and these fit differently for some reason. Too wide.

Have been using the Sawtooth II for years which fit like a glove, do not need break in and are very supportive and comfotable. Thought i would try the Sawtooth X. Not nearly as comfortable, too much leather and bulky padding. Started to get heel blisters just wearing them around the house. Sent them back and will stick with the Sawtooth II.

These shoes are narrow in the toe box. A disappointment. I have older sawtooth shoes that were perfect, like they were made for my feet. They are at least 5 years old. I hope the manufacturer changes toe box area back to what it was.

Too much pressure on top and side of bunion. Since shoe is probably too short, it might be better in a bigger size but I suspect not, since there is considerable pressure on the top of the foot at the base of the big toe. Would probably need an extra wide, if anything, but I don’t think it comes in that. Also seems very stiff so probably not a good walking shoe, more of a hiking shoe. Appears to be a little bit of arch support although not nearly enough for me.

I have enjoyed another pair of Oboz mostly leather waterproof hiking shoes for over 2 years (purchased from LLBean). But this style was too chunky, too much synthetic material & hard to lace, so I returned.

I bought these to replace my old Oboz waterproof hikers. As others have commented, the feature that I liked about the old shoes, the wide toe box, is no longer there. I bought these because they were the only waterproof low hikers available in my size and (advertised) width. The length is fine, but these are not as wide as I had hoped. So now I am going through the tedious and painful process of stretching the shoes to fit, not something I had to do with my old Oboz hikers.

I love my Oboz sandals so I was excited to try these hikers. Unfortunately fit was a problem as I developed a blister on my right heel one mile into my first hike. My right heel moved up and down in the shoe as I walked. The left shoe fit perfectly. Had to return them and it was no problem thanks to Bean's return policy.

The toe box in these is so low. I have what is considered ‘low volume’ feet - like duck feet and these are too tight. I didn’t return them instead figured they’d stretch a bit. Nope. Also they make my feet freezing. I can’t report on the waterproof aspect. I love my oboz boots but these miss are a miss.

I'm very disappointed in the new oboz. I have bought 2 pairs in the past that I have worn out. The new style is too narrow, uncomfortable and ugly..
