I've been buying these gloves for about 4 years now and I always come back to get more. They're durable, warm, DRY INSIDE EVEN WHEN OUTSIDE IS WET. They may be on the more expensive side but you get what you pay for and these are good quality gloves. Thanks LL Bean please keep making these gloves!

These gloves are perfect for the playground. They are warm, comfortable and waterproof. And according to my 5 year old grandson, they are perfect for fort building!

I bought these for my daughter for Christmas. So far they seem very durable. Hopefully they will live up to the LL Bean name and we will have them for years to come.

I purchased these for my 7 year old in size S. They appear to be very durable and they have kept his hands warm and dry in the snow we've had thus far.

Nice pair of gloves; a little expensive for a kid's item, but seems like a quality product.

Excellent product. Only concern is a bit too bulky for small child.

Had another pair that would not keep my hands warm. These are very warm and a great price

The gloves are nice but I measured and ordered according to the size chart and they were too big. Had to return them. The childrens large is pretty much a womens small.

This is a really good product that deserves 5*s. We bought two pairs for each of our kids. The smallest size fits my 7 year old. But it is not as flexible for little kids. Especially when they try to grab things. The other issue is the lack of color choices. Lastly, monogram option is unavailable. So, when the kids misplace these in school or other places, it is hard to identify.

I bought these LLBean Cold Buster Waterproof gloves a long time ago, to use for biking during the winter (low of about 20F). I am an adult but I have small hands so the largest kid size fit me. They were great - kept my hands warm and dry, and held up well to (gentle, i.e., adult, no snowball fights) daily use in winter for several years.
Unfortunately, the "grip-friendly fabric" on the palm is made of the sort of rubbery plastic that degrades after a period of time (polyurethane I'm guessing). I stored the gloves in a closet for a few years while I didn't need them, and when I took them out again, the rubbery fabric had become stiff and cracked, and immediately started flaking off in black, dusty bits. I unpicked the seams to see if I could salvage the glove, since the rest of it (the fleece, the polyester shell, the insulation) was still in great shape, but unfortunately the rubbery-plastic fabric could not be removed from the glove while leaving the glove intact.
I got good value from these gloves, seeing that they performed well for years and are only $25. But I do wish that companies would avoid making their products out of the sort of plastic that degrades easily (or that they would at least not make that plastic part integral to the product). I'm ok with plastic fabrics like polyester and nylon - they don't degrade, they only wear out with use and are very durable. But rubbery polyurethane material degrades, and it makes repair impossible if the glove is put together using that material.

I bought these for winter in IL and it was about halfway through January where they were coming home soaked through. He said they are warm but the warm didn't last once they started soaking through. You also are not supposed to was them! Seriously?? They are gloves! They get full of salt, and mud! Won't buy again.

The sizing Is not clear and impossible to figure out. My seven year old son will be able to wear the size small in about five years. Otherwise they seem like good gloves. Warm, nice color. Thinking about donating to charity. The waterproof gloves are same same way. I won't purchase gloves online again. Basically I wasted 50 dollars.

Purchased for my son and, initially, loved these. After one season the tips of the fingers are starting to wear out both inside and outside. They are also impossible to wash - the tag says don't machine wash just wipe clean, so you can't wash the inside fleece at all. Wouldn't purchase for a kid who likes to play outside in the snow often.

Bought 2 pair of these gloves last year and after two months of sporatic use blue pair started falling apart and does not resist water. Really expected better performance for snow gloves

They were a bit too big but otherwise great. Warm and mostly waterproof. Bought them in November.
We've had icy snow all winter so far and now in mid January these are full of holes. Where the black part of the glove is sewn in, there are rips in every finger and in the palm of the glove. My kid plays hard outside which is why I bought all LL Bean for this winter. Really disappointed these didn't even last 3 months.

I read reviews. Since the name of the product is "cold buster", I had high hopes from llbean. It did not keep my sons hands warm in the mountains. It was waterproof, but I also sprayed scotch guard for sure measure.

We really wanted to like these gloves and we've had LL Bean gloves many times in the past, but these did not hold up to general play. We bought both of our boys a pair last winter and within a couple of weeks, they were ripped in the palm around the seams. Very disappointed and not the quality I'm used to with LLBean products. They never complain about their hands being cold, but they are ripped everywhere now, so they do get wet. The search is on for longer lasting warm gloves.

These gloves are warm, but they are NOT waterproof. Every time we take our kids skiing or when they play in the snow, the gloves come back soaking wet - inside and out. Very disappointing since they advertise them as "waterproof". Buyer Beware.

My son has used these a couple times to play in the snow and the water goes right through them. They are not waterproof at all. Terrible.

These gloves get soaking wet on the inside. It's appalling that they claim its waterPROOF. Also, the plastic palm pieces rip and wear-out quickly.
Disappointed,

LL Bean has gone down in quality and these gloves are a prime example. My son used them one time to play in the snow. The glove ripped apart on one finger and the store refused to exchange as they said the tear looked intentional. I was incredibly disappointed as this wasn't the case at all. I was with him when it ripped and it was not as a result of something he had done. I will no longer be purchasing LL Bean products of any kind given they don't stand by their quality. Make the investment and buy Reima gloves instead. I wish I did.

My hands were so cold, in five minutes of being outside, that they had to go back.
