I have over 120 miles in my pair, and I can say they are my favorite trail shoes that I've ever owned. It took me a little while to dial in the lacing because the lacing system is a little wonky, but once I figured out how to lock down the shoe properly, it was amazing. I recently wore these shoes for a 40-mile ultra through rough rocky mountain terrain, and they performed flawlessly. The comfort, grip, and water drainage were all fantastic. The midsole really shines during longer distances. The PWRRUN PB is soft and bouncy and keeps your feet turning over when you're tired, while the PWRRUN frame offers a touch of stability to guide your feet. I previously would not have worn these shoes on any technical descents, but once I got the lacing down, I haven't had any issues with stability. The only issue I foresee with these shoes is the outsole tread breaking down before other parts of the shoe. My tread is looking a little chewed up at 120 miles, but with the caveat that I've been running over rough mountain terrain for most of those miles. Still, my Peregrine 12 tread has been holding up better with similar mileage. Time will tell, but I hope to get many more miles out of my pair.

My go to trail runners for most terrain. I tend to switch to the peregrine 12s for more technical routes.

What a great trail shoe. Great midsole and amazing out of the box fit. Definitely a ultra shoe. Laces are the only thing I'd change, too stretchy but not a deal breaker.

One of my favorite Saucony trail shoes so far! This purchase was my 2nd pair, don't change anything...

I owe this shoe a review. The mileage estimate may be low; I eventually stop logging shoe mileage on Strava because I get lazy. I absolutely loved these shoes; unlike Hokas, which seem to feel dead after 1-200 miles, these are still pleasant to put on. The stack height felt high for trails initially, but I've since come to terms with it. I raced two 50ks in these, one technical with some 8000' of gain and another much less so, with 1,500' gain. They handled both superbly, and can go fast -- the flatter of the two I ran in 3:57:00, blister free.

Got these to replace some beat-up Peregrine 10's, which I liked a lot as well. I like these better - slightly wider toe box and a bit more cushion, which suit my wide, somewhat injury-prone feet! Traction is comparable to the Peregrines as well, no issues so far.

Best all around trail shoe Saucony currently makes since they decided to screw-up the Peregrine after model 11's. Not as good in super technical sections as pervious Peregrine models, but generally a really nice ride.

Excellent trail running shoe. I put fits to size but it almost runs a 1/2 size too long with a large toe box. The standard width is almost too wide so I tighten the laces more than usual. My thicker running socks work well with these. Overall I love running in these & if shoes could be safely stored for years I'd buy a few more pairs.

This is my first pair of sauconys ever and About 100 miles in, I love these shoes. From single track trail, gravel, pavement I enjoy the way they feel. Enough cushion for long days but enough stability for sketch terrain. In the meantime I need to find a similar sub for road days and interval work.

Traction is perfect and after around 50 miles. The shoe has held up to the trails.

The Xodus Ultras is the perfect shoe to round out my running shoe rotation. The cushion of the Ultras is close to the Endorphin line, and the traction has been great on the trails and snow. They are a light shoe and ideal for an ultra endurance trail race, daily off road miles, or even some road miles before hitting the trailhead. Other reviews had mentioned the rear collar of the shoe was too hard. I noticed the rigidity when walking around, but it hasn't been an issue while running. This shoe is also a big improvement over the Xodus 10. The 10 felt slow and clunky compared to the Xodus Ultras.

Been running in Saucony's for several years now. Do almost 100% trails. Still love my Peregrine 12's for shorter runs but was looking for something for those longer runs especially for my aging 57YO body. Tried a pair of Exodus 11's but was very disappointed with the bulky feel and very hard, slippery, sole. These Ultra's hook up well with practically any surface. Did my first 50k ultra in them in Sept. 100% single track with 7500 feet of extreme steep elevation both up and down. Had my Peregrines in my drop bag at the 35 k mark but never switched even though I had just been in waist deep water. They are so gentle on the body while having extreme comfort, light weight, and traction. Definitely recommend for the long hauls.

I got these last week and immediately went out for a 10 mile run. Shoes are extremely comfortable! I was worried about any type of break in period, but these are good to go out of the box. Toe box is a little wide, but that's what I wanted. I'm giving these shoes 5 stars, but I have one complaint. Traction isn't as good as I'd like or was hoping. That being said I was on wet roots and limestone. The Vibram Megagrip excels in these conditions, but that's something I can personally deal with.

Great all-round trail running shoes. Good cushion and stability, reasonably light, slightly more narrow in the forefoot than I prefer but I have very wide shire feet.

Have had mine just over 2 months, segued from a very hot late summer (autumn) into an immediate rainy cold couple weeks and then snow (Whistler). Abrupt seasonal change to say the least. Managed to get these out in the trails for some good slogs in the latter part of autumn - SUPER dry and shaley - sketchy for slipping rocks - these shoes felt mega stable and climbed the steeps like a monkey on crack. 8 weeks later - soaking wet mud, trails, slippery roots, slick-rock - I actually ran a 3km tech uphill with the water gushing down the trail non-stop, well over-ankle in most spots. Ridiculous. But the shoes held strong even though I couldn't feel my toes. Got to the flat and they drained fast and maintained a very cohesive foot-to-floor feel. Now?? Sub-zero packed snow, and black-ice. Surprisingly - these shoes are FANTASTIC in everything but smooth ice - the lugs and outsole grip soft and hardback icy-snow just as they do loamy trail. Zero hesitation/apprehension. Good socks, feet stay warm and dry. Black-ice or wet-ice, not a chance - but I'd not expect anything except studs to manage that terrain. Let's be realistic. Overall amazingly versatile - I love the fit - I actually *love* the elasticized laces as I've figured out precisely how to use 'em to lock my feet in (smart move Saucony - they move just enough to stabilize your foot over odd terrain - very smart). Excellent grip in dust, loam, rocks, slick roots, icy streams, and snow. Can clock as many kms as my body can't handle and they'll be dry before I'm ready to smash it again. Highly recommended - for nut bar runners that just wanna give'er.

So far, these are amazing trail shoes. I only have 30 miles in them, but they exceeded my expectations. I don't like a super snug "racing fit" so I love the fit of the exodus ultra. I don't find them sloppy or loose, just right for my D width foot.

Magnificent feeling shoe on the foot, super comfortable for longer trail runs, slightly wider shoe box than road shoe which works nicely for uneven surfaces on the trail. Great grip to boot.

Very comfortable and hug my foot perfectly. Had a bit of heel slip at the beginning but now that my foot has settled in I get good lock down. Great for long runs.

First run out the box was 35km and then a 100km race 2 weeks later and these shoes were perfect! I love the little extra cushion the xodus ultra has along with the extra upper protection and extra room in the toe box. Definitely my go too trail shoe now!
