Pretty good for the first iteration. Overall it’s a nice take on stability using guidance. That said, it digs into my arches making them uncomfortable on 7+ mile runs. Also, the pwrrun pb doesn’t add any of the pop one gets in the endorphin speed or pro. If you are a neutral runner looking for an easy day shoe, this is a great choice. If you seek or need stability, it’s fine but don’t expect a radically different experience than other stable shoes like the ASICS kayano or brooks adrenaline.

I have been using the Tempus since December 2022 and I am very satisfied with this purchase. Let me start of with the one and only negative: these shoes fit narrow. I'm a size 8.5 and had to go up to a size 9 in Black, which made the toe box feel a lot better. Sizing up did added a tiny bit of length to the shoes but it didn't bother me since I bought these mainly for working on my feet all day. The comfort, support, and light-weight feeling of these shoes are amazing! I truly believe you can't find another shoe with these type of features that Saucony is offering at this price point, or at any price point, and believe me I've done the research before I chose the Tempus. I've never felt something like this before on my feet. I also tried to do some light running in them and I'm giving them a thumbs up. I'm sure if Saucony can make the black color in wide width it would please a lot of people! I'm definitely considering purchasing another pair for future use.

Good so far (About 50kms). Springiness is excellent but at the expense of support.

Usually wear Hurricanes when I buy Saucony for the wide fit with medial support. Wanted to try these for lighter weight. Really happy with them. Enough medial support. Wide-toe box (wider than last year's Hurricanes). Feel very light. Only complaint is the super boring colorways! Would be a 5/5 if just one vibrant/visible color offered in a wide fit shoe!

So far so good, becoming my favorite daily trainer for easy long with some uptempo. No issues afterwards like neutral shoes or other stability trainers, and fun to run in. Just enough cushion, not too much. I think it would be even more versatile if it had a rocker like the Endorphin Shift, but it's more stable.

Love the color! The different foam takes some getting used to as I normally run in Guides. Knowing these are both springy and supportive is a nice mental boost when I put them on.

I've done 4 runs so far for a total of 40.25 miles. I love the feel of the foam under foot. Feels pretty light for my size 12 and I like the rocker to move me along on my runs. There's a little too much room in the forefoot for my liking as I have narrow feet and really high arches. It's fine for runs of 10 miles and under but when the sweat soaks my shoes and loosens everything up it becomes a little uncomfortable. Where I live and run the humidity at 5am is 95% and 80 degrees currently. I like the feel of the Endorphin speed 2 better. There's been reviewers suggesting that this shoe has a high arch support and I don't feel that at all. I didn't get any annoying rubbing or hot spots and the heal feels locked in pretty good. I feel like the newer shoes coming out will have more room in the toe box. That can be a good or bad thing for some. I didn't need it as I like it snug. Also, I think the price of shoes these days are getting ridiculous. My completely subjective review

I took it for a long run on the second time I wore it. Zero blisters, zero discomfort, and excellent response. I don't like the upper material. It doesn't look durable

I wear a size 9 womens shoe. But I find size 7.5 mens fits my wide foot better. I tried these in 7.5 and the right shoe rubbed the side of my pinky toe. Due to this issue, I was unable to use these shoes and returned them. I’m not sure why these are so tight on me! But they might have been comfortable if it were not for that!

My favorite feature of this shoe is the lighter weight. They are advertised as being moderately supportive, responsive and cushioned but I tend to disagree with these claims. Most of the support seems to come from a very pronounced arch support that can feel uncomfortable over a longer run. The cushioning is very firm and the advertised "springiness" just isn't there for me. I normally wear a narrow width but wanted to try the Tempus anyway based on several reviews that said they ran narrow. I am able to lace them more tightly and they fit pretty well through the forefoot but are still wide in the toe box. I am very disappointed that almost all the running shoe companies have abandoned the medial post form of support. (It must be cheaper to make them this way) I will probably be going back to the New Balance 860 and hope that the new model works without the medial support.

I wear, and love Saucony shoes, however these have become my least favorite of them all. They are smaller, or tighter, and are causing pain around the bridge of my foot. I can't seem to find a way to wear them comfortably.

Return customer here. Honestly, I feel like the quality is getting cheaper each year. My heal not even after 4 days of wear are sliced up.

These were my third pair of tempus shoes, all have been different colors. For some reason the third pair I bought (black and white) were insanely narrow. My previous two pair were perfect. I looked at the tongue of each pair and they were all manufactured within 3 months of each other and had same numbers on the tongue for sizing and lot number. I just can't even describe how narrow they were. I returned them immediately and probably won't buy any more due to this inconsistency

First, I must disclaim I am not a runner! I wear Saucony for every day shoes because they are the only brand of shoe that I feel comfortable in for long periods of time. I typically wear Guide or Ride, but thought I'd give the new Tempus a try. They are super lightweight, which I love! However my love pretty much ends there. They're so light, I can only wear them late spring to early fall. From Oct-April they are just too cold on my feet. As for fit, I find they are bit too tight at the ankle and too loose/wide at the forefoot. The tongue offers little to no cushion. Now for the feel. While they are very nice & cushiony, they're too forward-springy for me. I feel like the shoe wants to push me ahead of where I want to walk. It actually took me quite a while to get used to this and I still trip over my own toes on occasion. I realize these are all qualities that would probably be great for runners! So if you're looking for a lightweight, cool, spring forward shoe for your daily or competitive runs, these might be a great shoe for you! But for me, someone who just wants comfy, daily wear - they just don't suffice. To end on a positive note, they are a great looking shoe! I get compliments on them all the time!

I'm a woman, overpronate and wear an 11 (ww) in most Brooks and New Balance athletic shoes. When my size is out of stock, I buy men athletic shoes. Most New Balance and Brooks men's 10 (w) fit perfectly. However, all of the Saucony men's 10(w) I've tried on fit very narrow, including this Tempus. The toe box is roomy though. The styles and colors options are great. Unfortunately, I cannot wear Saucony shoes.
I'd also recommend:

The shoe itself is great but the shoe laces are awful, bulky and hurt your feet for the first week or so until you build up tolerance. Recommend you change out the shoe laces. The normal version of Tempus is awesome!

I love the shoe, from the colors to the details, but unfortunately, it was not made for me. I thought this shoe offered support, however my foot rolled to the outside, causing a lot of knee problem/ pain. I'm an avid runner for longer than 20 years and decided to try these out only to find that I should've stuck with what I know. I contacted customer service and they would not back the brand. I had to give these away only after three uses. For a neutral runner, these would be great!

why does it seem like every running brand assumes wide footed runners have no taste? it's always as if the wide version is nursing-home-friendly colors only. so frustrating.

Ordered this shoe from a store, loved the design concept,no medial post with cushion. If you have a flat wide foot,do not buy this shoe,it is for a neutral, narrow foot, even in a wide.I loosened it all the way and it killed my feet walking in the store, toe box and midfoot way too narrow, lots of material pushing into arch.Cushion was ok,shoe seemed well made.Saucony make this shoe with a straight last,0-4mm drop, more room in midfoot and toebox, thats a start.People with flat wide feet are injury prone and need stability, not for feet shaped like a canoe
