The neckline is WAY too low for me. I like the weight for the fabric and it is comfortable

This is a good shirt, but I like the thicker fabric of the other ones better.

Beautiful shirt but unfortunately I returned this because it was snugger across the belly and hips than I expected.

This was my first purchase of a wool t-shirt, and I was surprised at how soft and silky the texture is. Very light compared to the other shirt I bought (which I also like). I got the Lead color, which is a blue-gray. Because it's so thin, darker colors will show through slightly, but not bad. I ordered a Medium and it's a bit flowy and drapes nicely; I probably could wear a Small but I like having it a bit roomy, without being baggy.
My only dislike is the logo branded onto the fabric, which cheapens it and relegates it to casual athletic wear. If they would get rid of that and add more colors, I'd buy another.

i have one other merino wool shirt, and I love it. So when I saw this one on sale, I decided to get it. It's a little looser than I expected, but otherwise, I'm looking forward to wearing it. It's thin, so it will pack well.

I want to love this short as much as I love the crew neck version but the bneck for some reason is toghter fitting, not as flattering as the crew. Still soft with all the other superior qualities I love from Smartwool. But I always wear medium and would do better with a large in this particular style.

I purchased (what I thought was ) last year's version of this. It's great for working out and running in, but I did notice it's slightly shorter than my other top. If you're concerned about your tummy showing when you lift your arms, this is not the shirt for you.

I did not use the product as it was a bit too see-through for my liking, even though it was black colour.

I love the ultralite crew neck version, and have found it insistently the same size for shirts ordered many months apart. So I was surprised when I received the v-neck version that it was significantly smaller than the size I wear in the crew. It's 'wearable', and keeping due to sale price but can only wear on 'skinny days' unfortunately or way in the backcountry when just don't care. Keep this in mind when ordering - I don't know if the shirt I received was a 'mistake' or if the sizing is consistently different in the v-neck as compared to the crew neck version.

I'm not sure why one would make a see-through shirt?
It is comfortable, and the fit is fine. It's a nice colour.

Due to the expense of these shirts I have worn them mainly for travel. I am disappointed because with pretty light wear starting to get small holes in the fabric. Have been following laundry instructions - never in a dryer. Smartwool has always been my go-to and while I love how light these are will be thinking twice before ordering more.

I've worn this twice on a run and in a race. While it's fine and as good as my other running tops, I can't really say it's better. If it had a mesh vent strip down the back and around the shoulders and arms, I think it would be the greatest; but as is, it's just fine.

The fit and colors are great, but this shirt is much thinner than I expected and couldn't really be worn on it's own unless you are ok with a level or transparency

It feels very soft and light, smooth.
I bought XS that would be great in a crew neck style, the V neck is a bit too open and revealing since it's on the loose size for my shape, there is no XS.

I did not like the fabric - much too thin to be anything other than long underwear really. In addition, the cut is very straight and not flattering if you have a small waist and big hips.

I've washed it twice and worn it twice and it has a small hole in an obvious soot. Not worth it.

The shirts I purchased fit well and were comfortable but they were both insanely see-through (the green worse than the black) so I had to return them. I won't be buying more shirts from Smartwool until they can make a product that isn't see through.
