For me, this skort is perfection, which is why I ordered it in a second color. It is straight (unlike many other skorts that flare) and has just the right length and amount of stretch. The pockets on either side make it that much better because they easily accommodate iphone 13 pro, keys, AirPods , etc. I wore it repeatedly in Italy summer and felt cute, modern, and comfortable.

On vacation, everyday use, very cute, fits perfect. I would have given it a 5 if it didn't have the ugly multi color stripe on it.

Ordered a large and it's a little big but works. Gonna order a medium and see if it works better. 5'7". 145 # and hippy.

This is advertised as a lined skirt, but it is a skort! I was looking specifically for a skirt and did not want a skort, so I'm super disappointed. It also runs larger than it should. I'm 5'7" and 135-140lbs and got a medium, which is loose on me.

I love this skirt. The fabric is gorgeous, outer fabric is soft and silky, liner fabric is lovely wool blend, the pockets fit my phone, keys, wallet. All great.
Unless you have thighs. The liner is so short it's more like undies than bike shorts. I wore them to the gym, thinking the shorts would stay put, and nope my thighs were not happy.

This skirt is okay and I like the pockets, but I don't like the fit or the material. I also don't like the reflective logos. I ordered this online hoping the fit/style would be similar to my smartwool winter down skirt which I love but it was just not what I was hoping for.

This looks like SUCH a cute skirt, but unfortunately it is cut way too low around the waist to be comfortable or to be currently stylish. Because it is a skort I can't even pull it up, as it fits it has a tendency to slide down even further. sad to return, I had such high hopes.

The skirt had a perfect fit and good quality, but the line or shorts were wool in the outer skirt was a crinkled synthetic material. I was hoping for smart wool. My bad for not reading the description closely.

Description is not clear that this is a skort -- this design has merino wool shorts with a nylon skirt overlay. Describing it as a wool skirt with a "sport lining" is not clear. I actually wanted a wool skirt to wear over leggings.

Returning, fit in waist but too tight on my hips. So, it didn't seem as if a size larger would work.

The garment quality is great, as you'd expect from Smartwool. I really wanted to like this skirt, but the built-in shorts are too thin and flimsy for me to feel comfortable wearing the skirt - it kept riding up when I tried to wear it while riding my bike, and isn't comfortable for walking around when doing things like grocery shopping. It would be a better product if it was just a skirt by itself, and if it was about 3 inches longer than it is. Under those circumstances I would wear it hiking and biking and it would look nice enough for semi-formal occasions, too. Oh well. Live and learn.
A note, I am reviewing this because of a #sweepstakes thing. But in general I've appreciated Smartwool products and in my experience it's rare for them to have a poor end product, so I'll definitely continue buying wool products from them in the hopes they get skirt design right in the future.

Great LOOK butbTERRIBLE fit - skirt is huge baggy and waistline HANGS below the waist.
Nothing much fits in side pockets (not a phone or tennis ball )
