This shoe is great except the outsole by the toe is peeling off after only 2 months. These outsoles should be one piece of rubber for each toe going the length of the shoe.

Something is wrong with the material of the left sole. After wearing the shoes for a little while the left sole starts to squeek. Only the left shoe, the right one is fine. Also they keep coming untied. My original Riveras are great; some of the most comforable shoes I have ever owned. And they stayed tied all day.

After only two months of using these shoes, the reflective detail is almost entirely peeling off. I reached out to Altra to let them know and they informed me that this was simply normal war and tear. I've been running in Altras for almost five years now and this was my first issue. in light of my past positive experience and my support of the brand, I am especially disappointed in this shoe and the customer experience I've had so far. Might be time to make the jump to Hokas.

Altra has done a bad job publicizing the width changes. This is super narrow and hurt my toes. Will send back. I bought Altra for wide toe box. Now only 1 original model. Thumbs down!

This shoe is far to narrow to be in the Altra lineup. I've been running Altras for 7 years now and this iteration of the Rivera is much too narrow, a trend this company has been following. They have abandoned their wide-footed patrons and I am on the hunt for a new brand.
