I just received this show today and put them on my feet. this is not a running shoe for me, this is a walking shoe. the heel doesn't have enough cushion, the middle has all the cushion, the front has hardly no cushion, its like Im going to fall over. I guess this shoe make you run different and not on your heel and more on the midsole. We will see when I take my first run in these.

Like the fit. Toe section seems a bit to sloped upwards

I purchased this show as a walking shoe To my surprise the extra cushioning did not reach the toe box which made it very awkward when walking. I ended up donating the shoes and purchased a Saucony trail shoe instead. I am sure, however, that if I was a runner the Axon 2 would have been a great shoe.

These running shoes are good for longer runs if you like a ton of foam cushion and a bit of a roll from your heel or mid-foot to your toes to keep the running momentum going. The foam is a little harder, not as springy as other shoes. I like these shoes just fine, but they are not my go to shoes for any type of running training. Saucony has several other excellent shoes. These are decent, but I find I don't wear them often because I prefer others over these.

I bought these a month ago. For me, they're fine for short term wear. But if i wear them at work, they kill my calves. Wish the toe box was wider. Shoelaces loosen up often. Tongue doesn't have a loop to keep it up either.

Got these for my husband who walks 8-10 miles a day... He now has tendinitis in his big toe which he never had before. Might be how he walks and how the shoe propelled him forward (his words)

Not the Ride for MY Stride. I wanted to like this shoe - I've been running in Saucony Kinvaras for a year now and was hoping this would be a similar shoe. I'm not sure how they can call this a 4mm heel drop - the big hump in the middle must be ignored on that. I think they were trying to use this shoe to compete with Sketchers by putting a big hump under the balls of your feet so that your foot will roll from heel to toe. Problem is, I run with a midfoot strike (hence the appeal of 4mm drop shoes) and with that big hump there, I feel like I'm constantly stubbing my foot and tripping. I tried them walking around, got to where I didn't hate them. I tried to do my morning 4 mile run in them this morning and had to cut the run short because it was starting to cause issues in my hips and calves. As a point of reference, I run 30-40 miles a week, not overweight, have pretty normal pronation, and no foot/leg issues I need to compensate for.

This rocker shoe is way to much. The front end of the shoe is curved up, therefore straining my toes and left foot pad. I can't walk correctly now, because of the foot strain it put on me. Returning them. If this shoe had regular flat inside foot, instead of the curved front, it would be comfortable.

I bought these shoes a month ago and upon putting them on they felt cheap and really uncomfortable. Have not worn them for more than a mile. I have boughten other kinds of Saucony shoes and they've been great, however, these I do not recommend.

Saucony changed their foam recently on the Freedom and a couple of their other neutral shoes, which is a lot more dense than their original foam. The Kinvara still uses that original foam which is a lot more comfortable. When I say comfortable, I make that statement coming from someone who runs multiple half and full marathons every year and who has also worn the Kinvara & Freedom since the first generation came out. Before that I used to wear the Ride and Triumph when I wore an 8mm drop, and that foam was comfortable as well. Ever since Saucony went to the new foam, I can no longer run in the Freedom, and now after buying the Axon 2, it felt the same. I did not have this problem with the Axon 1. The Axon 2 hurt my feet and gave me foot fatigue during runs. Wish Saucony would go back to what they used to use and what worked. When you're logging 13.1-26.2 miles on a pair of shoes within one run, these things become very evident that the product has changed and not for the better.
