Guides are my all time favorite shoe but I hate the new grid pattern on sole of shoe. It makes a suction noise on every step because of large indent by toes. Hope they will fix this going forward. So annoying. Also could improve on colors.

I ordered my usual size and fit was great. Very comfy shoe right out of the box! Tons of color options too! I usually wear the Hurricane and so far this one is great as well. Since I haven't had it too long I'm not sure how long it will last but am hopeful it will last as long as the Hurricane.

For me, this is an awesome shoe 10Ks or less. I do not go up a half size else the shoe rubs on my pinky toe. I truly like this version.

Appreciate lighter weight and a bit more room over Guide 14s, which I returned a couple months before. Still prefer lower profile of Liberty (my favorite), but since you no longer make them, I've now gotten used to the Guide 15.

Good stability shoe with the right amount of cushioning and bounce back without being too thick to feel the floor.

This review is for the GUIDE 14 which I just bought: The shoe is comfortable and I haven't experienced any joint or leg muscle fatigue so far (I've run 37 miles in it). I love the laces - thicker so I don't have to double-knot them to keep them from opening while I'm running. My only issue so far is the left shoe's area around the ball of my foot (where the toes connect to the foot) is too tight; I keep expanding the width there by loosening the laces, but at Mile 4, my toes consistently start to get numb. I don't know if the way this particular shoe was strung is the issue, or all Guide 14s would cause this problem.

Feels like a slipper, but supports your foot. Love this shoe!

Shoelaces are too short to use with last eyelet holes.

My first pair Saucony, I bought wide, it too loose.

My new Guide that I purchased this year does not compare to the many many purchases I have made in the past. I ordered the same size as usual but my right shoe has been a problem to get on. I have tried using a shoe horn and my finger but it still is too tight. I don't feel that the quality of the material on the shoe itself is of the same quality as former purchases. I also don't like the tongue structure this year. I would not recommend this shoe to my friends. Sincerely yours.

I usually buy the Rides, but I thought I'd give the Guides a try. They were pretty comfortable at first, but they just recently started causing my inner heels to blister. On my last walk, the pain was unbearable and the only thing that would alleviate the pain was to run. Such a bummer since they obviously can't be sent back.

I wish you sold an extra wide. These are just not wide enough.

Lots of cushion, feel like there's lots of height. Not the most comfortable though

This is my 3rd pair of guides (13,14,15) and the quality is decreasing and the shoe breaks down easier than my 13s. I've only had these for a couple weeks and the heel is starting to cave but not as bad as my 14s did. Trying to be very careful when putting them on so they don't wear down too fast. Other than that they're comfortable and provide good support.

I have been running in Saucony Guides for over 6 years now. This is the first pair I've bought that I wasn't 100% thrilled with. I love the color combo (I purchased the mint green color) however the feel of the shoe changed. They feel a bit narrower and not as cushioned especially in the arch area. I actually like the narrower feel in the toe box because I have a narrow foot, but it's a bit too narrow in the arch area. I've never had to break in these style shoes, so I thought maybe these just needed to be broken in. That wasn't the case. Fifty miles in and they still feel rigid in the arch. Otherwise, the look and quality of the shoes is great, as it has been. This may still be a great shoe for those with narrow feet who don't have falling arches. I just couldn't give it the typical 5 stars because of the minor changes.
