Wonderful mittens for toddlers. The Velcro strap around the wrist keeps them on my toddler's hands. Her hands are warm and dry after playing in the snow. Definitely recommend these mittens.

I've bought these for my other grandson. Easy to put on a toddler and will keep hands dry and warm.

Very lightweight, they have a velcro opening which makes it easy to help direct their thumb into the thumb hole. Nice and long so they stay tucked into winter jacket and protect their wrists from the snow.

Soft and waterproof, my three year old needs a little help with the velcro, but lovea these cozy gloves.

Easy on mittens, no need to wrestle your toddler to get ONLY their thumb in the hole. Nice slip on side to get entire hand in, secure velcro an the additional strap around the wrist keeps them in place. Warm and water proof (aka snow proof), plenty of room for growing hands. Again, no better for colder weather than Beans!

Bought these for my 14 month old son since he pulled regular mittens off. Love that the Velcro on the side opens up to allow getting them over a jacket. The strap keeps them on nice and secure and my son now has warm hands to enjoy the snow!

We were looking for toddler mittens that were waterproof, would stay on, and that we could get our son's thumb into the the thumb part easily. These are great. They have a velcro split down the side of the wrist that makes it easier to get his hands in and his thumb in correctly. They have velcro straps around the wrists that helps keep them on. I was worried about the size before ordering as most toddler mittens/gloves we found were too big. These were a perfect fit with a bit of room to grow for a 2T boy who is on the smaller side of the scale. L.L. Bean hit it out of the park with these gloves. Highly Recommend!

These have been perfect for my 15 month old in the New England winter. The velcro opening makes them easy to get on (including getting the thumb in the hole), but she can't pull them off once I close the velcro and the strap. She plays in the snow, plays with ice chunks, and when I bring her in and take the gloves off her hands are still perfectly warm.

We live in Minnesota and we NEED good mittens that withstand cold and snow. I've tried many, many mittens over the course of 3 children and toddlers are by far the most challenging to find mittens that STAY ON and keep their hands warm in the snow. Time and time again I come back to these. What was I thinking trying a different brand earlier this year?? (I was curious since someone recommended them...) I should have know better. I am SO glad I came back to these LLBean mittens. My toddlers 2.5 year old hands now stay warm and keep the mittens on!! We can enjoy outside play again! Thank you LLBean. One small comment...I would like more color choices...that's part of the reason I tried a different brand before coming back to these. But the quality is absolutely worth the color compromise (p.s. brighter color mittens are so much easier to keep track of for kids of all ages!)

These mittens were easy to put on a toddler's hand because of the way the side opens to allow the thumb to be positioned correctly. The velcro strap closure keeps snow out. Very pleased with this purchase.

These are adorable little mittens. They are slightly big but that's okay because he will grow into to them. They seem like they are going to be very warm. I like how they are a little long to keep his hands covered.
