I have been giving the Mountain Classic Fleece size 12 to 18 months as a newborn gift for many years. It wears and washes well enough to be passed on to siblings even after several years of wear by the original owner. The colors don't fade and the fleece remains soft after many washings. Cold wash is recommended and I recommend line drying.

This jacket comes down over the hips adding warmth. The hood stays put. Toddler grandson can move around well on the playground in this jacket. It's a 5!

This is adorable and warm. I grew up wearing LL Bean and I am thrilled my daughter will be too.

Just a great jacket for cool fall days or when just doing errands! Well made and washes well!

My two year old granddaughter thinks this is a very cozy fleece. It's good for the fall. The dirt seemed to shake off of it pretty well.

I like that the trim on the hood, sleeves and bottom of the jacket keep it snug on my grandson. Love the fabric at the top of the zipper that protects his neck and chin!

Very happy with this fleece. My daughter is 8 months old and wearing 12 month size in Carter's for reference. The 6-12 month size fits her well with enough room left to grow. It's heavy enough to keep her warm and cozy during cooler spring days in Chicago. Planning to layer it with a windbreaker on very cold/windy days.

This jacket is perfect for a baby on the go!!! From a quick ride in the car to a stroller ride in the Fall or Spring. I bought the matching hat with the ears as well.

It was for my 2+ year old granddaughter. I got it in the pink (her fav color) and it fit perfectly. I ordered a 3T as she is tall for her age. Very soft and comfy and the hood seems to easily stay on.

My daughter & son both have these fleece jackets. We bought them in the fall as a transition jacket before winter, and they were also worn a lot this spring too. They have lasted at least half of the year. They are warm, hold up great in the wash (I usually hang dry fleece). I will definitely be buying the next size up for them again!

This fleece is adorable. My daughter, who is quite picky, fell in love with it immediately. She likes that she can wear it normally or just put the hood on and sport it like a cape. It is very high quality and will last her at least 2 years. Thank you, L.L. Bean, for always having such great quality!

Entirely too expensive especially for a baby item that they will grow out of rapidly. Size runs alittle small.

Love the quality and pink color of the fleece, however like most LL Bean these run large. I bought the size 12-18 month for my 16 month old and a size 2T for my 3 year old. The 12-18 month size is huge and almost as big as the 2T when you compare them side by side. We have to roll up the sleeves twice for her to be able to wear it out. The other odd thing is the 2T size does not have the little LL Bean patch on the chest but the 12-18 month size does.

Poor quality. After 2-3 wears outdoors, my daughter's fleece was so pilled it there was no going back. It was ruined. I have always loved LL Bean products, but this was a true disappointment. Discussing with Customer Service and having to send it back while waiting for any type of refund/credit has been even more of an issue.

Everything about this jacket is perfect! It is well made and fits with a little extra room. Great for Fall, as a layer, and will fit in the Spring. Get the matching hat and mittens to complete the set! I purchased the 12-18 month size.

My parents bought this fleece for my son for Christmas at the Conway, NH store on 12/5/24. He's had it since Christmas day this is what it looks like today (1/26/25). I brought it to the Salem, NH store in an attempt to return/exchange it because my son really liked it and was upset he couldn't wear it anymore. My parents couldn't find the physical receipt so they gave me their credit card statement and the credit card they they made the purchase on to locate it that way. First, the store associate suggested I was lying about it being purchased on 12/5/24 because "it looks like he's had this for a long time." Then they told me because I didn't have the receipt I needed to call customer service to get it in order to initiate a return. I did that and even with giving customer service the date of purchase, store it was purchased at, credit card number it was purchased on, etc., customer service could not locate the receipt. In fact, customer service has they no record whatsoever of my parents shopping there since 2023 despite that this purchase clearly shows up on their credit card statement. I wonder if their position on that will change when they receive the charge back request/payment dispute from Discover? They tried to connect me to a manager but hung up on me TWICE in the process. So we were unable to successful return this and I went elsewhere to replace it.
