Hat bought as an add on item to get discount for total order. I went ahead and got the hat for my wife bc is has a hole in the back for a pony tail. The hat is way to big doesn't fit her at all. Its actually even too big for my head. Disappointing. I spent 300 buct total on my entire order and they only thing really good was the shoes. Ive bought from north face online before and loved all my items. Im not returning anything its not really worth it. But probably wont be ordering again anytime soon. Just being honest. Wasn't even going to say anything but you guys sent me and email and asked for a review.

Loved this hat at first. It slips off my head little and today blew straight off in a wind gust. I had a similar one last year and same thing happened, I had high hopes this one fixed the issue. Love the pony freedom, but I wouldn't recommend for those who plan to run with this.

Great hat. Fit waaaaayyy too small! I got the XL. Fits like I would expect the small/medium to fit

Nice hat but too small. Purchased women's L-XL.

The idea behind it it's cool but the hat it's too tight it makes me have head aches.

So I have a big head and a lot of hair. I ordered the larger size hoping it would fit but it is still super tight. This hat is not for anyone with a large head!

This hat looks pretty but is unrealistic. The band causes the hat to pull back your forehead no matter how you place it. It's not a wearable hat for me.

This hat is disappointing as it doesn't fit properly and doesn't stay in place. Material is nice though, but if you have a lot of hair, I wouldn't recommend this hat.

Even the largest size was too small on my head. :( I know I have a bigger than average head, but that's why I wanted a hat that came in size large/XL. It is NOT large/XL.

The women's Horizon hat was my ALL TIME FAVORITE hat ever. I hate hate hate this version. Hate it. I even tried to get the men's instead, but now those don't even come in different sizes anymore! Not every female has long hair and needs a pony tail hat. Why not offer BOTH versions? The day my Horizon hats from 2019/2020 era die, I will have to mourn them.

Just the worst hat. I was too fast to click on thisdidn't look at the 2nd picture because I've bought ladies ball caps from north face before. The back of this is great for their designers fantasy girl with a high thick pony tail. If you don't wear it in a ponytail it looks like you have underwear on your head from the back. Plus my skinny pony tail fits fine in the hole on the back or a normal ball cap

The mesh bun opening, which great in concept, is not great in execution. It only works with an uncomfortably high pony or bun. The hat isn't adjustable, and due to the way the mesh pulls if my bun is not exactly in the perfect spot, this hat gives me headaches and frequently needs the diameter band pulled back down when the hat slips off or out of place, which happens repeatedly for me.

Design assumes all women have pony tails. The contrasting color at the back is too busy looking, it is plain unattractive. What's up with the different stretch fabric with the ponytail pass through? I much preferred the previous traditional classic model with the adjustable buckle strap. The change from embroidery logo to an iron logo makes hat look cheap. Very glad I got four hats these past two years, which are still like new. Was wanting to add to my collection in different colors, but won't. Please, NorthFace bring back the original. It had hundreds of 5 star reviews, so why ruin a good thing. Why didn't NorthFace simply increase the price vs coming out with this redesign???

Sadly, I'm not a fan. The front panel is really stiff, like it's made of plastic. The entire front panel stands upright on top of your head, with the style of a "trucker hat". The slit in the back is fine, but really is no better for me than the hole in the back of a regular hat. Perhaps, the ponytail hole would be more advantageous to someone with a lot more hair than I have.

Every spring, I excitedly waited for the new colors of the Horizon cap. As a runner, I never go for a run without it. I've recommended it to all of my running friends. It was THE perfect hat. And then you had to change it. This one doesn't work for me at all. It didn't fit nearly as well as the old style and not every female needs the weird ponytail thing. I'm so sad.
