It doesn't stay tight and the bill is a little flimsy. I had one before that blew out of my bike bag, so this was a replacement but a little disappointing...

I had to return this hat as the sizing is small for someone with a larger head. The color and materials were exactly what I was looking for otherwise.

Material is flimsy

This was my go to hat for years until you quit making the L/XL size. Please start making it again.

Loved the color but too shallow for my big head. The "one size" does not apply to anyone who usually needs a L/XL hat size. It adjusts for the circumference of your head but again the depth just wasn't deep enough for me.

This was my favorite hat until North Face did away with the L/XL.

A bit shallow of a hat- doesn't cover head properly. Fits awkwardly. Great color and fabric.

Classic fit seems to be a size between the original S/M and L/XL. I assume this is a compromise in order to retain a OS one size sizing. If this is the case, using "Classic fit" can be misleading. Bring back the L/XL :) Summary: it's the new modern cut that is slightly deeper than the previous iteration that alot of people have been critically commenting about.

These one size fits all fit o-k, but the older L/XL sized ones fit and LOOKED way better. Please bring back the sized options.

I bought 5 of the original Horizon hat that came in sizes S/M and L/XL. The new OSFA doesn't fit! Please bring back my favorite hat in L/XL.

Had previous hat and used for running - this one is a little less shallow and that is too bad. Would prefer if it was deeper.

Overall this product is still great but the new design is missing the mark. It's too shallow for my fat head! lol the old ones cover my head perfectly and I totally miss them. Bring them back! :)

Please bring back more neutral colors - I had a great gray one that worked with everything. White would be great as well.

Loved the fit. However, I ran using it once and it's now completely stained from sweat. Looks gross and it's too embarrassing to wear in public again. I bought it in goblin blue. If you plan to use it for exercise, buy it in black!!

Hi, I've bought these hats for several years. This particular model used less fabric that others, probably as a cost saving measure, so it's simply small and doesn't fit my head as well. It is one size fits all so there are no sizing options.

Bought his again after losing my Horizon hat from a couple years ago. The logo is not embroidered like the earlier version, it's now a screen print (of some kind) * didn't like that. Either way, a good 50 spf hat.

I was hoping that this hat would fit perfectly like the one I bought back in 2018 but it's slightly smaller and doesn't fit right on my head. I have a lot of hair and the old one fit perfectly, covering my hair and making contact with my ears... a perfect hat.

The horizon hat was my all time favorite go to choice! After years of hiking/camping trips, the elastic stretched out and I needed a replacement. I noticed the sizing has changed to one size fits all... please charge it back to size options, this is less than ideal and all I want is a replacement hat that literally lasted years of perfect sun coverage. If it's not broken, can we just leave things the same?

Good hat, not the style I was expecting to be. It's not something I would buy again, but that's just me. It really isn't my style of hat. Will continue to look for a different style but definitely go for the same brand North Face.

I have several older versions of this hat and love them because they are the only hats that fit my head well. This new version still fits great, but they've changed the brim from a heavy, curved cardboard that holds it's shape to a thin flexible cardboard that tends to want to be more flat. They also changed from an embroidered logo to a stick on logo. The hat still fits well, but I hate the brim and the logo looks cheap so I am returning and hoping that next year's model is better.

Agree with the comments saying bring back the L-XL. This hat now is too shallow and doesn't come down low enough. Not sure why they changed a good thing.

I have owned three of these hats in the past and have always loved it and wanted a new one, as I wear them to the bone after a number of years since they were such fantastic hats, wearing them several times a week for various activities. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned in recent reviews, the new universal size is sorely disappointing. For me, it now sits much more shallowly on my head and unless I have it cranked tightly, I feel like it might slip off. This was my go to hat for the last 6 years+ so, definitely bummed. Hoping they bring back the old sizes (L/XL).

Older version of this hat was my favourite running cap until I lost it. This new revamp does not fit well, too sort. Why ruin a good thing? Very disappointed.

Listen up TNF. Your loyal customers were in love with the old Horizon Hat. I am fine with the new hook design, but why did you have to mess with the size of the hat?! I am immeasurably disappointed with the new sizing because it's been shallowed out. I am sure many people will agree that what made the old Horizon Hat was so great. This is also reflected in the many negative reviews on this new iteration of the Horizon Hat. I know people would own multiple copies of the old Horizon Hat but find this new version lacking and will not purchase any more. Please, for the love of great design, bring back the old product!
