I bought it for sunny weather. I have fair sensitive skin but love hiking and camping. I'm finding out that this hat is great for the rain and snow as well. It's turning into my everyday hat. Fits great, light weight, soft on the skin and the drawstring can be tightened in windy weather without pinching my skin. Zero downside. If you can afford it, buy it.

I was on the fence to purchase a boonie hat for quite some time. My wife purchased the grey version last summer and absolutely loved it, so when Christmas came around, I thought I'd treat myself, and I am so happy I did. Size is perfect - loose enough to let the air through, but snug enough to not worry about it coming off in a breeze. Great product from a company I know and trust. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner.

The article is really very good and of the usual great quality of TNF. It is light, covers the sun perfectly and has the perfect fasteners for when they are necessary and do not bother when they are not. The fabric with which it is made is very beautiful and I think that anyone who likes this style of hat will not be disappointed as it is far superior to similar ones from rival brands.
