Great hat for warm sunny weather, especially when it's windy. The brim is substantial and holds up to wind. It's not too hot in direct sun. Great for those times when you want more coverage than a baseball cap.

I bought it for sunny weather. I have fair sensitive skin but love hiking and camping. I'm finding out that this hat is great for the rain and snow as well. It's turning into my everyday hat. Fits great, light weight, soft on the skin and the drawstring can be tightened in windy weather without pinching my skin. Zero downside. If you can afford it, buy it.

I was on the fence to purchase a boonie hat for quite some time. My wife purchased the grey version last summer and absolutely loved it, so when Christmas came around, I thought I'd treat myself, and I am so happy I did. Size is perfect - loose enough to let the air through, but snug enough to not worry about it coming off in a breeze. Great product from a company I know and trust. My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner.
