I purchased this knowing its not warm enough for 50% of the year where I live. I camp every weekend and I hike in. So this is heavy and bulky for hiking. Mine comes in at about 4 pounds. That is what I would expect an Arctic down bag to weigh. Still, its adorable and comfortable! I really like it and since we had a few power outages and my apartment was less than 40 degrees this bag was perfect. I love the foot box. Make one like this for a -20 F rating and if it were 5 pounds, I would still buy it.
