This was purchased for my granddaughter ! It is so soft and cuddly,she loves it. It's also very well made and the monogramming is beautiful!! I've no doubt it will last for years! Thanks Bean!!

Purchased the red robe as a gift for my grandson, the color is not as shown, it is definitely pink! Hence the 4 stars.

I gave this to my 12 year old grandson for his birthday as his old robe was too short and worn out ( not purchased at LLBean ). He loves it ! My daughter said he wears it every night. I myself was disappointed in the thin fabric as it is not as thick and snuggly as his old robe and they both noted that as well. It would be perfect if it was thicker. On the plus side, it is a good long length which covers cold knees and the belt is attached and easy to tie.

Granddaughter loves it! Keeps her warm during Montana winters.

Bought for a petite adult and it fits great. The sewn on belt is designed so kids don't lose it, but great for adults too! Cozy and comfy. The fire-resistant treatment gave it an unusual finish, and I dont know if that's the same with the adults' version

My son loves the softness and fit. Left one star off because the dark green color just didn't have the same depth and warmth as previous items.

I bought a robe for each of my tween children and the love them. Typical LL Bean high quality, soft and true to size.

I got a size XL in tidal blue for my 12-yr-old daughter along with the matching slippers. She loves it and says it is warm. The color is lovely, but I felt the material could of been a little thicker and plusher. It's kind of matted down and feels a bit on the thin side.

Our son is now 14, so this size 18-20 Kids fleece robe will be his last from LL Bean, sadly. He LOVES this robe and we've ordered it in several sizes over the years, as he's grown. My only "negative" with this latest one is that the texture, while soft, is different than the past ones. More "artificial" (think "Styrofoam fabric") and less cottony/natural feeling. May have something to do with the flame-resistant material? I know these are not made of natural materials, but this particular robe feels the least "natural" of all the ones he's had in the past.

This robe is super cute . It was a gift for my young niece she says it's warm & cozy. Added the monogram too!

Bought two of these for my boys, one blue and one red. They look thick and cozy. The apple red color is deceiving. Looks like a nice bright red in the picture but the robe i received is really giving off hot pink vibes. That one will have to go back, unfortunately.

I love LL Bean. But the hunter green is not an actual hunter green color. It's more like a faded, almost gray green. I love LL bean and thank them for delivering this on time for Christmas!! But it def was missing a wow factor bc the color doesn't match the website's color. I suppose it's possible the dye isn't consistent and some may receive a true rich hunter green. Anyways I'm writing this more for people interested in buying that hunter green. Def order with enough time to exchange if you don't think it's great. I ended up still giving them to my nephews but bc the color was so lackluster and I was reaching for the dark green to match a sports team they like, it may end up not being worn much by them if at all. But I still love LL bean. Just not this particular hunter green robe. It's more gray green. The picture should be updated. I think someone who posted a one star review posted a pic so you can see the true color. Maybe blue is better etc. thanks!!!

I was happy at first with the robe as was my grandson whom I purchased it for. However, my daughter was not at all happy because it was polyester. She wanted a 100% cotton terry cloth robe so he could dry himself by just putting on the robe. She said the polyester would not dry him effectively. I wish that the fabric would have been displayed more prominently when I purchased it. However, I must say I did not know it was that important to my daughter.

The material feels cheap and it's not very soft. Definitely not what I expected for what I paid.

Robe runs large. The belt is longer than I believe it should be and was not sewn securely. It was split approximately 12 inches along the seam. I'm a long term supporter of Bean, however this is the second item I've ordered in the past 60 days that had quality issues.

Not the quality I expected from LL Bean. The purple color is very nice and the feel is nice. However, they did not sew down the inside edges. It makes a very "sloppy" robe. The collar won't lay right and it's just a mess. It gives the look of a cheap robe instead of what I was looking for. I purchased one for me and one for my niece and had them monogrammed so I'm stuck with them. I would NOT recommend this one, keep looking

This robe is just not very soft. I really expected it to be super cozy and soft and comfortable. My daughter likes it because it is a new robe, but it is obviously not high quality and waaay overpriced. Thanks, for the disappointment, L.L. Bean.

The purple robe was very very disappointing. The letter on the front was very hard to read and when you looked inside the robe the whole side was full of the material they used to sew the name on with. It was not trimmed off nice and neat like on the other pink robe I ordered. The quality of workmanship was horrible compared to the other robe. Very disappointed! I ordered these robes on December 2nd and didn't get them till the week of Christmas and that was after making 2 calls to make sure they would arrive in time.

I purchased this robe as a gift and it is adorable but the monogram looked terrible. Called customer service and was assured a new robe would arrive by Saturday. When it didn't, called customer service again and was rudely told there was no way it would be delivered by Saturday and to give the gift recipient the damaged monogrammed robe since he's only 3 years old and wouldn't notice. Completely unacceptable. Did receive a new robe 2 days after his very special birthday party. Extremely disappointed.

The style and fabric of these robes are beautiful and soft. Unfortunately as soon as I opened the package I immediately smelled a strong chemical odor. I haven't washed them yet to see if it will dissipate, but I would not put these on my kids if they still smell like this. I also saw that these are made in China; hugely disappointing from LlBean.

My son received one of these for Christmas . It is very cheaply finished on the inside. The fabric feels like something you would use as a microfiber duster. You are just paying 50$ for the brand LL bean on a cheap imported robe. Shop around , get something cotton or a softer blended synthetic material.

Please add 100% cotton options for kids. Why do they always get stuck wearing cheap synthetic options?
