I purchased this for my 7 month old grandson; he's a little big for his age so I purchased the larger size. This is so cute, comfortable and great quality! We get so many compliments because it's so adorable! Easy to put on the baby as well. Great for the carriage and the car seat. Would highly recommend!

Ordered the 3-6 month size for a big 2-month-old so he'd be able to wear it all winter. It's the perfect size for that purpose. It arrived in time for it to double as a Halloween costume - thanks, LLBean!

I bought this for my grandson and it is wonderful! The fleece is so soft, and it's so easy to get on and off. With the feet and hand covers, it keeps him warm from head to toe, all in one piece - no looking for mittens or wondering if his feet are warm. I bought a bigger size than he needs so it will see him through April in Wisconsin - with our early winter he's already getting a lot of use out of it! It's perfect for a stroller ride with a blanket over him or in a car seat - no need for a heavier snowsuit.

My grandson is 11 months old. He normally wears 9 month clothing and will most likely be in 12 month clothing through the winter months. I ordered the 12-18 months. The sleeves and legs are a little long on him. It probably would be fine for a taller baby. We are keeping it instead of returning it for a smaller size.

We love this so much. It is adorable and warm, and it washes well (some other bear suits pill, but this one does not). I am sad that the sizing cuts off at 18 months, since my baby is only ten months old, but he is averaging a 24-month size in most brands. Most of the really cute infant gear isn't made in his size. Learning to care for a baby is hard, and we need bear suits. I hesitated for a long time before ordering this; I didn't want to get something that he would outgrow in a week and the biggest size offered was 18 months. I read the reviews and saw that the sizing had been reconfigured because people complained that it ran too large. When one of the bear suits produced with the older, larger sizing came up on the website, I grabbed it. It has two zippers in the front, but the one now available to purchase has only one - probably a good way to tell if the item uses the old or new sizing. Anyway, this is a good-quality item, but all of the sizing stuff gets confusing. Bottom line for LL Bean - please make bear suits in larger sizes, and flannel shirts (and everything else, particularly including warm black winter jackets) in smaller sizes (i.e., 24 months, 2, 3, etc.).

This cute little winter garb for the baby in the family would merit 5 stars if it had not been made of unnatural fibers. Which of course, makes the garment so warm. The pile/fur seemed to be "plasticky". I wish it was made of sherpa fleece.

Overall love this bunting. I bought 6-12months based on the size chart, and I’ll say it runs large for sure. I’ll just fold the bottom parts until he grows more. Thought about returning for a smaller size, but it’s not worth the trouble when he can just grow into it.

As I am 68 tall its kinda small. No its for our new grandson

I love this bear bunting, little girl is nice and snug for outings. Have to take a star off because she is 3 months and 12 lbs. (38th percentile) and the 0-3 months size is still huge. Luckily she will get longer use out of it but really would never fit a newborn.

Really cute and soft. Runs really large; my 11 month old is still swimming in it.

This is a terrific option for a baby gift when the gender hasn't been revealed or one doesn't have a registry. Nice baby gift for any parent to receive. Have purchased many for gifts, though the quality has diminished slightly over the years.

Brought it for someone who lives in SF, Ca. seriously doubt they'll have a lot of use. But it's so cute though it looks large for a baby. The mom said he will grow into it. It seems to be more fitting for a three year old. Hoping they will visit the northeast around the holidays and get some use out of it. It's hard to judge the appropriate size because he's only four months now, but he is growing at a fast pace. Love the hand and feet convertibles. Got the brown, would get the blue as well if it wasn't so pricy.

The bunting is great. I agree with most of the reviews on the sizing. I bought 3-6 months for a 3 month old. The bunting is huge, more like 9 month old.

We bought this for our 17 month old tall (90% for height) and skinny (30% for weight) baby. Thankfully we followed others advice and ordered the 6-12 months. It's even still has room to grow and he wears cloth diapers. This will fit through the winter and is very soft and cozy.

Same problem as another reviewer-- this sheds everywhere! I've washed it 4 times now and it's still shedding, so I recommend only washing it with towels. Other than that it's ridiculously cute and also warm and cozy. It would be perfect if not for the shedding problem.

Even when washed by itself, this sheds everywhere. I can't seem to get it to stop shedding, and have to watch my baby carefully because the fuzz easily sheds off into his hands and around his head and gets into his mouth. It's so soft and will fit for awhile to come; it's too bad that there's no easy way to wash this, which is a necessity when having a baby!

This bunting is warm and soft, but when I washed it with my baby's laundry, it shed an unbelievable amount of lint onto all my baby's other clothes. It took me four plus hours to remove the lint from everything else, I truly don't know how it shed so much. If you purchase, definitely wash it alone!

The size was far too big. I bought a 3-6 Month, and this would have easily fit a two year old.

This bunting runs huge. I am so disappointed because we got it as a gift at our baby shower and our son (who is even long for his age) might not ever be able to wear it because it is so big. It is clear from other reviewers that this is a common problem, so I'm not sure why LL Bean wouldn't fix the problem and produce a better product.

The sizing is way off on this. I purchased a size 0-3 month for my son and it was enormous. I gave it to my cousin's large 9-month old and it fit him. The dimensions listed are completely inaccurate.

Bought this as a gift for our granddaughter, who turns one on 10/31. She's an average size for her age, but this bunting is WAY too big for her. It's more like a 2T or 3T.

As other reviewers noted, this sheds an unbelievable amount. Definitely don't wash it with anything else or you will have to spend a couple hours getting clumps of fuzz off everything it was washed with. Besides that, we would pick up handfuls of fuzz from the carpet, stroller, car seat and off of the suit itself. It seems to be disintegrating, which is too bad because it is so cozy and soft. It just isn't the quality you would expect from L.L.Bean.

Purchased this adorable bunting for an averaged size 12 month old boy. I ordered a size down based upon the other reviews. The length was perfect, but the body was too narrow. Also, it didn't have that good quality feel we have to love from L.L. Bean. The material was very thin. If you have an extremely tall baby, this is the product for you!
