I was incredibly disappointed in this coat. We had the coat for 1 month before my son came home with a rip on the front and feathers everywhere. He loved the comfort but it's not worth twice the cost of coats everywhere if it only lasts a month. I called and was told I could send in or bring to store to be evaluated. The store told me it was caught on something, although I'm not sure how they could tell as was also on a seam. Disappointed! Have bought many things from LL Bean and this wasn't the quality/service I expected

I am one never to write reviews but I wanted to let people know how easy this coat tears. This is a boys coat, it should be able to withstand Normal play. This coat has torn within one month of buying it and my son that is wearing it isn't even hard on his clothes. Coat needs to be made stronger, very disappointed with ll bean. I buy my kids coats here to ensure quality and ll bean to back their clothes. Now I have to purchase a new coat for my son to wear before I can send this back to see if they will "guarantee" it. Just save yourself the headache and get a different coat.

This coat seemed amazing at first. Warm and brightly colored. However, we have owned it now a little over a month (not cold enough to wear every day at this point). Feathers have started to poke through on the sleeves and have caused the fabric to rip. The fabric seems to rip very easily. Save your money for a sturdier coat.

My son loved it. Wore it every day for a week. Then, it too easily snagged and ripped. Jackets from other companies would have been more durable. LL Bean refused to address it. I will never use them again. Jacket easily stains. I paid up for a jacket that was supposed to be backed by them. I took it to a local store and had the worst customer experience ever. They changed their guarantee. I am changing my opinion of LL Bean and will no longer be a purchaser.

Nice-looking jacket, warm and a good length. However, the hood came apart from the jacket after 4 weeks and could not be re-attached. Sent it back and ordered another. It has started to split at the seams, and the fiber is falling out. Just 3 weeks wear for this one! Have now sent the second one back and have chosen a completely diff style.

Despite following the washing instructions explicitly, this coat was ruined after 1 wash. I'm so dissatisfied with this product. I dried it with tennis balls to restore loft in the coat, but it has clumps of down in all the compartments. It is unwearable now. I will be returning this. cute, but not for for kids.
