The jacket runs long, but comfortable and warm.

I buy one of these every year for my granddaughter who will be 8 this year. She loves it. I change the color each year. When fall arrives, I'll have it ready for her. One time the zipper got jammed. I returned it & no questions asked, LL Bean replaced it with a new one. Very happy with this jacket.

This is the second time I've purchased this jacket for my daughter. I love the bound seams and the tightly woven fleece fabric, not too bulky but very warm, the attractive zipper guard, and the colors. She was able to wear the size 8 well into her 10th year, as a stylish close fitted hoodie. These jackets have always been her favorites, and I have a hard time getting her out of them to wash them. A positive feature when she would rather freeze on a chilly day than wear most outerwear. She wears this in the classroom and around the house in the winter too, so it works year round. One of L.L.Bean's best products for kids.

I had wanted a replacement for the fleece lined (navy or dark red outside) sweatshirt I had bought for my granddaughter and grandson. (They both wore it.) However, the item I purchased was the closed replacement. Initially, I was not pleased, as I liked the original product VERY much. BUT, this item is great! My grandson picked the color and loved wearing it (till the weather turned much colder.) Very good replacement.

Great quality that you would expect from LLBean. Really soft and perfect for the fall or to layer under something in the winter.

This ran really big/wide.

A quality fleece with good textural aesthetic, warmth, and durability. Only downside is that it's cut too wide, so the size 8 fleece fits my 10.5 year-old son (56" height; 60lbs) but looks a bit baggy on him because he's thin and the fleece is not. This was true of this same fleece in a smaller size that we bought him a few years ago. Would be nice to see improved sizing with a slimmer cut.

I have two in adult (one hooded and without). My son wanted a hooded one for himself. He really likes it. It provides just the right amount of warmth for the mild winter we are having this year.

Nice and cozy. I wish the hood was a bit smaller or could be cinched. As is (without a big toque or scarf) there are big gaps between it and my head/neck.

I purchased three of these for my grandchildren. Theyre well made with all the quality details that are featured in the L.L. Bean sweater fleeces my husband and I enjoy wearing.

Warm, light, and not itchy. My autistic son who is sensitive to fabric loves this sweater and wears it all the time. Very comfortable and durable. Weve had several of these fleeces over the years for various kids and our kids simply grow out of them, the fleeces dont wear out!!!

This sweater fleece little kids jacket pills terribly and it has only been worn for less than a month. Im very disappointed and will be calling customer service about this.

I really like this hoodie. It fits my son well and is true to size. It has been too cold outside for him to wear it just yet so I can't comment on its performance. My son was disappointed that it was not available in black.

Second year buying this. It is a great weight for play outdoors for active kids. Wears well.

My daughter had another hooded fleece from LLBean that she had outgrown but did not want to give up. The color and style of her old one was similar to this one, and so she likes this new one just as much. It is not as thick and warm as her previous fleece, but for Southern California weather, that's probably ok. It is loose enough that she could add layers underneath if she needed to.

This is the second jacket that I have purchased, deciding that I would like another color. With the first jacket, the sleeve length was marginal, but with this second jacket the sleeve length was even shorter. I would like to see the sleeve length be increased by an inch or more. Overall it is a good value and well made.

We bought this sweater jacket last fall for our then 3 year old and loved everything about the fit, style, color, and warmth. But, the fabric was weird - a little rough and scratchy and it pilled within 3 wears, which I didn't love but my little one didn't seem to mind. The main reason why I didn't like, and ended up returning, this jacket was because every single bit of leaf, grass, mulch, and twigs that she came in contact with stuck to the jacket like a magnet. Even after washing, we.were left with remnants of grass stuck to the jacket that I couldn't be bother with trying to pick off. Now, if your kid isn't rolling in the grass or playing in the woods, this jacket would be great for them. But it's not the right jacket for an active toddler or little kid who likes to play outside. And living in Maine, this isn't something we want to give up because her jacket can't keep up with her.

I bought 4 of these for my four boys. The cut is boxy, sleeves too short. My kids are admittedly tall & thin, but, Idk any boys who are outdoorsy who are going to fill out the wide/short fit of these. I want to love Bean's kids line but they need to think patterns through. I don't want to buy expensive, new clothes that fit like they are old, boxy, shrunken hand me downs. My kids don't care, however, and won't let me return them bc they love Maine, (kid logic, lol) and love LLBean. Idk that I will be buying their kids clothing next season, unfortunately. I'm tired of altering every piece. It's sad bc they are my boys favorites!
