This is an all/ medium size backpack that is well- made. Good for younger students fir books or good for stowing items for a day trip.

Another great backpack from LLBean. I used to buy them for my kids, now I bought this for my grandson!

My Grandson started kindergarten this fall and this is his backpack. It holds all the necessities and is very durable. We got the nice green color.

Great bag bought this for our trip to Germany to take my wife to see where I went to high school.

The backpacks are holding up so far. The kids love the embroidered emblems. I have faith in LLbeans quality and see the kids having them for a long. I still have mine for over 20yrs.and it still looks like new.

We love these backpacks, just bought another for our fourth child headed to kindergarten. Our oldest just started high school and is atill happily using the deluxe bag he got in 4th grade. They are durable and sturdy. Simple and easy for the kids to use. Love the external water bottle pocket.

This is the perfect backpack for school. I've bought 4 now for my kids and will get two more for the other kiddos when their time comes for school

The backpack is well made and has many compartments. I also like the reflective strip on front.

Bought a red one two years ago for grandson and it has held up well with some signs of wear (no abuse). So, this year he wanted a different color. Quality remains outstanding. Did a monogram which looks great.

Ordering my son's first L.L. Bean backpack felt like a right of passage. Their classic design and top notch quality haven't changed a bit. The first one got him through 3 years of school and summer camps, and if it hadn't gotten snagged by something in the wash we probably could have gotten at least 1 more year out of it. Starting 1st grade with a new red one to match our school colors!

Got this bag for my daughter for her to hopefully have for a few years through elementary school. It has plenty of space for so her needs and the water bottle pocket was wide enough for her cirkul bottle. The material isn't heavy

I bought my son this backpack 30 years ago and am now purchasing the same one for his 9 year old son. To say we got our monies worth is certainly an understatement!

We bought this backpack for our oldest son when he went into kindergarten in the royal blue. 2 years later we bought him a bigger one just like it in red. We still have them and use them on trips, to the city pool, etc. They are not even starting to deteriorate. Guess what - our son is now 23 years old.

We have loved this backpack! Perfect for my 5 year old and some room to grow! Quality is great! I would recommend this to all my friends!
