I read all the reviews about the inconsistent sizing and ordered 4 of the same shoe in 11.5M, 11.5W, 12M and 12W. I had been wearing a 12W in the same shoe and the top of the shoe had too much fabric. It bunched up on top. The 11.5W was the winner. It feels a bit loose in the heal as a couple others said.

True to size. Great brand and style for those of us with wide feet and or bunions. Cushiony!! Priced appropriately.

Overall light weight fabric and very breathable. No need to "break them in" perfect fit and A+ on comfort! I wear a 9.5 EE which is hard to find- I will by another pair in a different color!

My super wide feet are hard to fit and these are amazing. I just ordered a second pair. Highly recommend.

I've been wearing New Balance 8W for a number of years and have had sizing issues with a couple of pairs recently but the fit on this Fresh Foam X 880v12 pair is great, comfortable and true to size. I also love, love the vibrant colors!

I have pretty wide feet and these are perfect so comfortable!

Fit as expected, but felt a little narrower than I would expect from NB shoes. Just not a great fit for my feet.

These shoes are about 1/2 size too small. I am waiting for the next size up. They have a lot of heel cushion too. It may be too much where it rubs on the back of your heel and causes a blister when you walk. I’ll see how the bigger size is.

I have narrow feet and have a hard time finding shoes that fit correctly. I like the New Balance Fresh Foam due to the heal coming up slightly higher and cups the back of the heal to reduce rubbing. I have currently have the 860’s in a 9N but the 880’s feel too short. I will have to return and exchange for a different size or style.

Nice shoe, but the toe box is quite shallow. I had to return them.

I wanted to like these but they were way to narrow in the toe box for me. I have average to slightly wide feet size 7 feet.

Sent these back for 680v7. The toe box on these lifted my fore-foot uncomfortably.

I have been wearing New Balance 10N forever. This pair is slightly shorter and feels smaller in the toe box. So disappointed as they have been my go to for such a long time.

I ordered a 71/2w. They were too small. My big toe touched the end and they were tight. Ordered 81/2 w. They were a little better.

Have been wearing NB for 7 years. Now they have discontinued the older lines to make these trendy foam shoes. They are not as supportive and are snug in the toe area. Also, being foam, the insoles wear out faster which means having to buy shoes sooner. That is why I chose no arch support. Since they are not as roomy in the toe area, had to get half size larger. Wearing a half size larger caused me to trip and twist my ankle twice. VERY FRUSTRATING. Now I’m having to search all the brands again to find a shoe that fits.

Ordered an 11 narrow. They were narrow in the forefoot and heel, however, not in the mid-foot. Strange fit since the forefoot actually was a little too tight and caused my toes to go numb. Didn't care for the extended heel tab in the back. It irritated my achilles. Also, the laces felt cheap and were not long enough on a size 11 to thread the last loop holes. Heel cushion was great, similar to Hoka Clifton's, but the narrow is not the same as 880V9 which fit me perfectly especially in the mid-foot. Hoping version 13 will be better, since neutral narrow sneakers are impossible to find.

Did not fit. Sole size measures exactly the same but there is less fabric in the toe box making the shoe too tight across the toe box.

I've worn New Balance sneakers for 15 years and this size 9 was a full size smaller than the usual 840's that I wear. Very very disappointed.

This New Balance shoe with a boxier toe fits my 9 M foot perfectly. Comfortable, breathable, pretty color that I use as a walking shoe on all kinds of surfaces, even dirt trails. Good enough treds and arch support. Good value for medium-priced athletic shoe.
