finger sensors aren't great. I cut a slit in mine to access a finger. None of the sensors in any gloves work for more than a short while, in my opinion.

I find them practical as a lightweight 'base' layer glove to wear inside lightly insulated ski gloves. I use them mainly for cold weather cycling, hiking, and skating. The sensor pads don't work for me on the iPhone but that wasn't a purchase driver and sensor pads rarely work on other brand gloves IMO. I did find the price a little high for a base layer glove.

My husband had two pairs of these which he purchased a while ago and I didn't see what was the big deal. He got me a pair and they really are great for: - high output activities in colder weather. For example I use it when I go running in the cold and they feel great. - for everyday use they are good but not GREAT because the pads are hit and miss but actually still not bad compared to some other touch screen gloves. These are not super warm gloves but they don't pretend to be. But for it's weight it's surprisingly good. I use them from 8-9 degrees Celsius to maybe 0-2 degrees. Basically mild to cool. The one issue I have is durability and this is why I take off a star. The pads do start to come off and it's why my husband and I have two of these. I get nothing lasts forever but these last maybe 2 winter seasons (before peeling). These are unisex, so for sizing I went for small which works great. In ladies gloves I'm closer to medium or large (in other brands). So if you're a woman and have mediumish hands - get small.

I have large hands. This means that in addition to having trouble finding gloves that fit, I have a tendency, after about 18 months, to pop my fingers out of the end of some other leading wool glove liners. I just received my Rho's last week and they fit great and they feel great. Not sure why another customer said that these don't work well with touchscreens - mine have worked really well with my iPhone. I will say that I had a seam rip on them after just a couple of wears but customer service was super responsive and addressed my issue right away. I can't give these guys 5 stars because I did have that issue but I wouldn't hesitate to get a second pair.

Great fit, perfect as a liner, but the touch pads don't work at all.

I bought these last season, excited to use them again. I understand the frustration many others have with these gloves durability, but given its a liner glove its obvious these are best just for wearing them on your commute and activities like running. The touch pad finger tip thing is actually something I would prefer it didnt have, as its a gimmick all modern gloves have now. (I dont mind taking my glove off if i really need to use my phone!) If you look past this, this is my favorite pair of gloves to throw on and wear for commutes/runs. It being a liner means better dexterity than bulky gloves, and the fabric texture is fantastic and soft. Dont expect it to keep your fingers toasty on its own if you are out for many hours, or in high winds, but they are a quick and comfortable solution.

These gloves are ok but the sensor pad doesnt really work for my phone. They are pretty thin but comfortable. I had better luck with other gloves overall

Although durability with the thin fabric has been solid over the last 5 years, the rubber finger tips start to break down after a year or two and most everything you touch leaves a black smudge. Looks great, like the long cuff, but cant actively use anymore.

I love these gloves! This is my 4th pair. Living in the Colorado Rockies, I wear them daily for 6-7 months out of the year, either alone or as liners. Theyre soft but durable!

Great for running but the placement of the conducting finger tips for using your phone is so bad. When you use your phone you scroll with the side of your thumb, not on the flat, central part. So it makes it frustrating when youre trying to scroll on your phone and the gloves dont pick it up because of the angle of your thumb. This could be solved with some simple design tweaks.

Nice looking but not warm. And for a glove that's designed to play a supporting role where looks don't count, that's not a good thing. In hind sight, I should have gone with wool or Smartwool. These do nothing. First bad Arc'teryx product I've had.

I bought these gloves for delivering the mail. They are cozy and you can use them to touch your electronic devices screens. However, the grip is starting to ware off very early on. They fit a little bit large and I have bigger hands.

Good gloves for wearing under others or on own but the sensor pads do not work on a phone with a protective screen. Was the reason I bought them so very disappointed.

I tried typing this review on my iPhone 12 Pro while wearing the Rho gloves but it was impossible! I suspect it's because of the screen protector I have on the phone? I tested the gloves on an old iPod touch with no screen protector and confirmed the gloves worked... even when using the fingers without sensor pads (lol). Are sensor pads even needed? So far, Nitrile gloves seem to work on all touchscreens that I've tried. The size guide seems misleading. For example , I measured my hand length to be between 7.75" - 8" and found size small to fit bigger than expected (size small glove measurement shown) . Other than that, I'm still testing these gloves when used as a liner. So far, they're doing the job; keeping my hands warm and dry.

The Rho Glove's fit, feel, material - all awesome. However, the sensor pads do not work at all. I plan on keeping the gloves, but really wish I could use them on iPhone touchscreen - will try to figure out if there are any solutions on getting it to work. If the sensor pads worked, this review would receive a 5+ rating.

The gloves are fine - pretty much just gloves you'd buy from any old store. They fit slightly large due to the stretch of the fabric and the touchscreen feature does not work at all (at least with my iPhone 8). I've been wearing Arc'teryx stuff for a long time and I've tried a few accessories here and there. Honestly, apart from jackets/pants and climbing gear, I haven't been impressed by much. But I know they're working on it.

I bought these thinking they'd be good as the brand has a good image as a leader in their industry...however they are super thin and sadly do nothing to keep out the cold especially when it's 0-6 degrees. The touch pads move a little on the tips of the finger and thumb so it's hard to actually use your phone while wearing them. Shocking value for the price. I've had other gloves in the past for a 3rd of the price which are 10 times better.

The gloves are disappointing. Fit is slightly off and even as a base layer the material isn't quite warm enough. The sensor pads don't work on my iPhone. The gloves are good enough, but I wouldn't recommend them.

Gloves just arrived from REI. Fit as expected, but like other reviewers have complained the sensor pads on my gloves do not work on any of my mobile devices. This is clearly a manufacturer defect which diminishes the value of the gloves. I purchased these to use the sensor function, so will be returning the gloves tomorrow. Too bad - Arcteryx charges a premium for gear. It should have better quality control.

The quality of fabric is very thin, the phone pads fell off after first day. I use it a liner for ice climbing and this is not it. The previous versions were better quality and material.

I bought these on a whim a year ago at the SoHo shop. I have a condition where my hands get ridiculously cold and numb if I try using them anywhere outdoors. I needed a thin, but functional warm glove. Arc'teryx clothing is the only thing I splurge on so I thought might as well try these. They are awful. Terrible. Do nothing for warmth. They also dry out my hands. I don't think it's Arcteryx itself but these gloves in particular. Arcteryx has never failed me in warmth until now. Disappointing.

Absolutely garbage: a hole developed in one of the fingers in less than 2 months when just worn without any activity other than walking.
