My daily training run is about 6 miles and on the weekends I'll hit 12 or more miles so I want a shoe that can go for distances as well as feel peppy on shorter runs. Unlike other maximalist shoes I've tried, the FuelCell SuperComp Trainer has an energetic lively sensation, not a plodding soft feel I've felt in the Hoka Bondi. I feel like I can kick it up a notch for tempo runs and use this shoe for longer steadier runs when one needs any bit of extra boost to finish strong. I believe this is one of few carbon plated shoes that comes in Wide aside from Altra's version, which I haven't tried. This shoe is well-worth the price for an older slow runner who does not race.

I bought these shoes for road training. The fit is good for average width feet. The initial impression is a bit awkward though as it has that "running on marshmallows" feel of some of the softer cushioned shoes. Not a super stable feeling. The color is an acquired taste but the website shows it accurately.

I loved my purchase. These shoes are very stylish and very comfortable. My knees feel great, they provide the perfect cushion for those long runs. I'm thinking of buying another pair. I definitely recommend them.

I think it's well made and I love the cushion, and pretty stable shoes. I would recommend it for beginners as well. The only concern I have is the durability for the outsole, as it looks pretty thin. I hope it last long enoguh!

I just got my pair today and I am in awe of this shoe. The slip in feel is simply "ooooooohhh", and the soft and bouncy midsole makes my feet go "ahhhhhhhhhh". I bought a pair of the Adidas Prime X not too long ago and in my opinion these two shoes are only comparable by stack height. I won't go on and on, but whereas the Prime X feels unstable and wobbly, the Supercomp offers great stability, especially for a shoe with a 47 mm stack height. Not only is the upper amazing in the sense of softness, but it wraps around my foot in a way that offers comfort and security unlike the Prime X : two completely different shoes. Great job New Balance. In my opinion, this is the best shoe out right now, from what I've tried and for what I want in a shoe, and for what works for me. I've got the Alphafly, Invincible Run, Aurora BL, Caldera 6, RC Elite 2, and have had others, but this is that shoe that leads the list for me...and it's not even close in my opinion.

Feels like I’m 20 years younger in these shoes!! Had lots of ankle, shin, and knee pains in other shoes until I found these NB SuperComp Trainers. SIZE UP. I wear a 12 for daily shoes, 12.5 in previous Brooks and Hokas for running, but the 12.5 in NB SuperComp trainers became too tight in the toes over 3 miles, had to go up to size 13

This by far is the Best NewBalance running shoe I've purchased. They feel great wether I'm doing mileage runs or semi fast tempo runs. I'm not too hot on the color mint, but if they come out with a better color besides white or that light grey I will definitely buy another pair. If you can Buy this shoe and try it out.

Great shoe. Fits true to size. The tech in this shoe has reduced patellar discomfort I've had with other shoes. Also, I do exercises in them that require aggressive lateral movement. These shoes have surprisingly solid lateral support.

I run mostly roads, 50-70 miles per week. These shoes are fantastic. The high stack height combined with the carbon plate make for a very cushioned, responsive and comfortable ride. I will certainly buy again!

This sneakers are great, but I had to order one size bigger since they run small. Great comfort and cushion for walking and running, but they are much smaller than New balance fresh foam more v3.

I recently have grown old of the swoosh brand. Too unstable, too soft, or too firm. This is a goldilocks shoe for me. Just right. A tad bit heavy but I can recover with this shoe and then pick it up if need to. For me this checked all the boxes. Way to go New Balance! I'm a raving fan!!!

Upper is stretchy like the first fuel cell rebel. I need wides too, and don't consider myself to have a really wide foot. Stretch in the upper helps a lot and the toe box is more comfortable cuz of the material. Sole is ridiculous and you def get what you pay for. Most comfortable running shoe I have personally ever owned and most expensive :) I'm doing 5-8 mile runs the last week and half since having these and they help a ton with my 44 year old basketball knees and hips. Will buy again for sure.

Very comfortable, very stable despite the high stack height. I got 12 wide, which is my typical size. The volume of the shoe is a little too large with some bunching/puckering of the mesh upper when I tighten the laces. The length is slightly too short and I wish that I'd gone up 0.5 size from my typical 12. The width was nice through the midfoot, but the toe box was a little too pointy with some pressure on the ends of my lateral toes. I find myself running a little slower than expected in these shoes and they feel less propulsive than other plated shoes, but again very soft/stable/comfortable. Great for easy day. With them running a little short and a little pointy in the toe box, they may not make for a great long run shoe for me. Regardless, they will definitely have a place in the rotation.

At first I had my reservations about the stability due to the Hight, boy was I wrong, the stability is spot on even around conners, the FuelCell sole offers tremendous amount of cushioning and is very responsive you can pick up the pace and the SC Trainer will respond right back and gives you that energy return. The upper fits like a glove and is secure. The only downside, I had heat spots under my forefoot,

I have 880v12 and 1080v12 in size 9 2ee they fit great this fills like a medium on the website it has medium or wide not 2ee and the heel is to flimsy if it had the heel like the 880v12 be perfect.
