Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v12

I was pleasantly surprised by the 880's. I thought that I had ordered the 1080 series and was surprised to discover that I had ordered the 880 instead. I originally planned to return them but decided at the last moment to try them out. I'm glad I did. They're not as comfortable as the 1080 but they're close.

This is my 5th pair of 880's. I found them to be true to size for me (9.5, 2E). I read reviews that complained about a smaller toe box and laces too short, but I didn't notice any of these changes. Version 12 is even more comfortable than version 11. I actually bought a 2nd pair of the 880 v12 in a different color. Overall, excellent shoe and up to New Balance standards and reputation!

Most comfortable New Balance I've ever own. Love them! One problem I ordered WHITE with red, received grey with red. Kept them anyway, didn't want the hassle to send back and wait for white. Hopefully next order will be white.

This is my 3rd pair of NB 880 running shoes. Comfortable from the first time I put them on. No " breaking in " time period. They also look good.

My only disappointment is I read the reviews and they said they ran small so I ordered half size up. They run more true to size so they feel a little big on me.

These shoes have improved my running ability by lessening strain on my calves and shins. Very comfortable, I would purchase these again.

Now a walker. 4 miles daily. These 880v12 are just great, in terms of support, fit, comfort, and looks. Thinking of starting to run again. Been wearing New Balance for 20+ years

Firstly, I am not a small person. I am 6'3, 285 lbs, with wide feet and I have very high arches in my feet. Nothing that I had purchased before provided comfort and support quite like the Fresh Foam X 880v12. I took them right out of the box and packed them for my Vegas trip where I walked the strip no less than 15 times in these shoes. No complaints at all, and I actually want to purchase another set in a different colour. Finding wide shoes that are supportive is a task when you wear a size 13, but these are amazing.

I have serious foot problems and am very picky about what I can wear. These new shoes really fit the bill. Not only are they stylish but are truly comfortable. I don't like shoes with an over amount of arch support....these are just right with a small amount of arch support but most important is the foam/comfort bottom and inserts. I will be buying more of these!
