31 years old and this is the first pair of shoes that have EVER fit my wide mid-foot. Going down a 1/2 size ordering here is imperative! Even then I have plentiful space to spread my wide toes and stretch my foot in this this flexible yet magically cushioned yet supportive shoe. Most comfortable shoe I can imagine for a daily! Perfection without question. Thank you New Balance for making shoes that cater to all foot types, even with your best lines and colors options! Seriously without your shoe I can barely walk right now as I'm dealing with bad tendinitis. 1st shoe that I don't feel like I'm making things worse, but somehow improving!!

I have been wearing the Fresh Foam 1080 sneakers for many years and they have always been comfortable. I don't ever have to break them in. I love these shoes.

Pricey but really nice for your feet, I've bought three pair now and plan to buy more. Waiting for a good special

Everyone of my running shoes is a 1080 and they are the best ever.

I have had the 1080 since version 7. I am a huge fan of this latest version. The reinforcement of the heel makes the shoe feel much more sturdy. As with the recent updates, this show has no break-in problems. Extremely comfortable. Thank you NB!!!

I have a Morton's Neuroma in the right foot and any shoe with enough tightness in the mid or forefoot will cause pain and tingling. I usually wear Keens and recently have been through 3-4 pairs of Speedgoat 4s from Hoka. The speedgoat 5 is tighter in the forefoot. I didn't like the placement of the arch in the Speedgoat 4 (it was too posterior) but tolerable. So this time I looked for something new. The NB Fresh Foam is working out pretty good. The Speedgoats would be sized 2E (wide), but with the NBs I went with regular D. I can't feel the arch, so it's either placed well or insignificant. In the store there was no tightness, but when I wore them for 30+ minutes I noticed some tingling and discomfort in the right foot. So what I did is cut out the side elastic material that is connected to the tongue. On either side of the shoe tongue there is elastic material that holds it in place and envelopes your midfoot. It's not tight, but it was enough to start to irritate my neuroma. Once I cut it out the shoe has been about perfect. I left the elastic in the left shoe and no problem.

These shoes are very well built and you can feel the quality the moment you slip them on. Very comfortable all day wear. I drive a lot and there were times I felt I didn't even have them on. When walking or running they fully support your feet and absorb shock extremely well. I had a foot injury a few years back and I don't feel any pain when I step with these shoes. Thank you NB!!!

First go around with 1080. Nice comfy shoe. Cloudy feel if you like cushioned you'll like this shoe.

This is an amazing shoe that I use for work. It is lightweight and comfortable. It is extremely facile to put on or take off. There is enormous support.

Daily wear - I've worn 1080s for several years, and they are very comfortable. This time I went for the Wide, and I'm very happy that I did. Probably should have made the switch earlier, but was worried that I'd be sliding around in the shoe - not so. Love the shoe.

I use these primarily for walking distances of 5 to 8 miles. They provide cushioning and support. The uppers are elasticized so the form to your feet and don't slide to feel too tight. I've got some foot issues, pain develops after a while, but not with these. Very happy with this choice.

These shoes fit like a glove! Lots of cushioning. Stability is solid as well. I normally wear orthotics for my high arch but I don't need withis shoe.

It's great to know that the fit and quality of NB will always be consistent. I bought these for my picky son and have turned him into a NB fan for life.

Very comfortable - been buying 1080s for years and love these shoes. Read online a number of places this version runs large. I bought a half size down and it fits properly.

Because of a permanent foot injury, Fresh Foam provides the best cushioning and width to accommodate the orthotics that I now must wear. They look great and can be tossed into the washing machine for easy care.

Was skeptical about paying so much for these shoes. Im very picky as I have a high arch, and am on my feet for over 12hrs a day.. Absolutely loved them. Feels like you're floating on clouds. Great cushioning.
