This shoe seems to be an example of form over function. It looks great. I was disappointed to find it to be really uncomfortable. The toe box is surrounded on all side and the top with a rubber barrier over the fabric. It looks cool. I thought maybe it would help the shoes last longer. Instead, the rubber interferes with the flex of the shoe at the ball of the foot. The rubber bulges inward as the foot rocks forward, applying painful pressure across the top of my foot. At first, the pressure was mild, and I hoped breaking them in would fix the issue. But the more I wore them, the bigger the problem got, to where the pain was just unbearable. So, it's a cool idea - but didn't work for me. I had to return them.

Horrible shoe. The plastic toe guard is too rigid and digs into toes on every step. Horrid and painful design. Cool color though.
