MUCH better than my last Keen boot I purchased. A little stiff the first day or so, but fine after that. My feet no longer hurt after a long shift.

This shoe was a great look and stood up very well to the elements. However, the size ran smaller than I would normally get. The toe box was a little cramped on the sides and at the top of the toes with normal hiking socks on. I always go a half size up so I know that I ordered the correct size. Unfortunately I needed a wider toe box. If you have narrow feet, then this shoe will do well for you.

I bought these for my wife for summertime hikers. In winter she has the Pyrenees leather hikers and likes them a lot too. Seeing reviews these run a bit small we ordered 1/2 size bigger and they fit her perfectly. Keen boots are all we wear on the trail these days.

First bought in a 7, had to send back, then decided to listen to reviews and got a 7 1/2. ( really could use a wide but liked the shoe a lot so decided I should try it). They have an incredible cushion on the heel landing and great ankle support - I have weak ankles, sprained too many times. I take bus and have some very unlevel terrain to walk so it is important to have that support. As per usual, the KEEN advantage of wearing out-of-the-box is such a bonus! I have been wearing KEENs for a long time and will continue to do so based on all the attention to detail, craftsmanship & quality that the team puts into them. Thank you!

Such comfortable shoes straight out of the box, I didn't even need to break them in. After reading others reviews, I decided to size up by 1/2 size and am glad I did to give enough room for thicker socks during the colder seasons.

Good looking shoes! I would have kept them if they weren't too small.

II have this in Olive color and I absolutely this style, very comfy and good support on the hikes. I had challenge with the shoe laces that open up frequently, but besides that it is perfect fit. Recommend to size up if you need some extra room, because it is true to size.

The fit and feel are pretty good but there is a significant break-in period. The biggest annoyance is the lace type chosen for this shoe, they don't adjust well for forefoot stability and loosen/come undone constantly requiring an intense double knot.

My wife got the NXIS for the cold, wet -snowy-slippery conditions of central Oregon winters. Immediately she felt the comfort, great Fit, and commented, "these are so light for what I need here". The athletic feel and design too are perfect for "coaching (TF and CC) athletes in challenging winter weather, "My feet stay warm and dry".

The boots fit great! I have narrow heals and a high arch, these hug my heal without any slipping. I havent worn them hiking yet, just dog walking, but I think they will be great. I always loved the fit of the Terradora, these might even be better.

I have these boots in black and I absolutely love them. So much that I ordered them in another color. Well that was a mistake. The accent color is PINK! Nothing on the description mentions pink. It says harbor gray. The pink is faint so it is not visible on the web site but they are surely accented in pink. I returned them- great customer service but sadly I will not be ordering another pair. Why do brands think all women want pink on their shoes?

I cant tell you how hard I search for a quality made shoe that is truly healthy for my feet. I am a diehard Salomon Speedcross fan. Unfortunately they do not have a mid high waterproof boot that fit me well. Tried several other brands and had no luck. I liked the reviews on the Keen Nxis. Decided to give them a try. Ordered a half size up and had to return them for another half size up, so a full size larger than I normally wear. Overall a very well made shoe inside and out. I especially like the fact that my foot can flex as I walk. The sole is not ridged. Another thing I really like is the tongue stays where it should always. Most either move to on side or the other. Wear them all day and the tongue is dead center. The only reason for four stars instead of five is the instep or arch. It is to forward. I replaced the insoles with my Ortholite insoles and they fit much better. Good job Keen!

I bought these boots for a working holiday in England, and after wearing them (alternating with another pair of shoes) for 2 months now I have noticed the mesh is lifting off the boot and my feet are often damp. Socks were soaked after going on a walk in wet grass. Comfortable? Yes. Lightweight and supportive? Also yes. Waterproof? Absolutely not. I do not feel like the boots should have this much wear after two months, especially for the price I paid. I recommend to those who are not needing a waterproof boot.

I have been a dedicated Keen sandal lover for over 14 years and now was looking for a light weight hiking boot/shoe. While I liked the sleeker styling on this boot the foot bed was not comfortable and was expecting a similar feel to the many sandals I have purchased over the years. I typically wear size 7 for sandals and boots allowing for a little extra room, however, the size 7 was snug. I did order a half size up; which further confirmed this was not a good fit for me. I think if you have a narrow foot (mine is not wide) and looking for a sleeker styling hiking boot; you may want to consider this boot.
