Used this for the first time on a spring bear hunt on Vancouver island. Super comfortable and ability to have the top folded out of the way came in handy on those long glassing sessions.

This year I was the only one in our Hunting party that didn't have a Bino case. I just had the standard Bino chest straps that left my binos exposed on my chest. I couldn't keep the optics clean and was constantly cleaning them. These keep them closer to my chest and don't interfere with my pack straps. There are certain pieces of gear that are a must have. This is one of them.

I did a lot of research to find a decently sized harness that wouldn't overtake my chest as a women and am very happy with the size of this harness. I'm an average size, athletic build woman and the harness fits comfortable.

After watching & reading all the bad reviews, i was left wondering if these issues could be corrected by manipulation. Turns out to be the case. The entire body, sides and cover can be molded to correct what people dislike about it, plus it is moldable to the way you prefer to carry your binos (flat, folded, eye cups in or out, etc). Also takes molle side accessories like other brands. All it's missing is a matching, black & brownish lettering, range finder holster. Or subalpine tech holster & subalpine rangefinder holster. Great piece of gear, thanks!

Super easy to adjust and fits well! I'm not worried about my binoculars falling out or getting scratched when they're in this case. The magnets are secured and the placing of the case on my chest still allows for movement.

Bought a month ago and have used on one hunt. It protects your binos well and operation is quiet. The elastic outer pockets are for smaller items like diaphragm calls, wind indicators etc, which works for me, but will probably not hold a range finder without some kind of accessory. For reference, my 10x42 athlon cronus g2 binos fit just about right.

I was torn between this and the Marsupial bino harness because they are made very similar. So far, all is ok with my 10x bino harness in Coyote. I had a friend who previously purchased the range finder pouch in Coyote and he gave it to me to go with the harness. It works great and attaches perfectly to the strap on the harness. In direct comparison to the Marsupial bino harness they are made very similar. I like the fully enclosed feature of this harness. Side pouches hold my wind checker, and release perfect. Back pouch is great for sliding your cell phone in too. The main differences are the cordura material is not as heavy on the Mystery Ranch as the Marsupial and the magnets that hold the Mystery Ranch harness open and closed are nowhere near as strong as the Marsupial magnets. The Marsupial is a strip magnet all the way across the flap, top and the bottom, whereas the Mystery Ranch appears to be small individual magnets sewn into two places on the flap and bottom. You have to purposefully make sure you fold the flap of the lid under to line up with corresponding magnets and press it to the bottom of the harness to stay open. If not, the flap will not stay folded under and the lid will flop as you walk. Would be easy to fix if Mystery Ranch would sew some stronger magnets into the flaps and base of the harness. I may send mine back to see if that's a possibility, if not, I'll break out the knife, needle and thread and DIY my own magnet upgrade. Other than that issue, I'm happy with my purchase.

Got several days using this harness for montana deer and elk hunting, so i feel like i have a good feel for it. The harness is pretty comfortable, and rides well with a pack on. The magnetic closure is pretty quiet, no loud snapping. The MOLLE loops on the bottom hold a can of bear spray nicely. The harness fits the binos pretty snug, my RRS adapter is a tight fit. My only real gripe is the lack of space for a headlamp, but that's not a deal breaker.

I purchased this a few weeks ago, size 10x regular in foliage green, and am very happy with the bino harness. Well made, no loose stitching/threads, sufficiently padded to protect the optic. Harness is easy to adjust and supports the weight very well. Case itself isn't covered in unnecessary molle webbing but does have a couple of small and handy stretch pockets on the front and sides as well as a slash pocket on the back. It is nicely understated. The front-flip, magnetically held cover is genius. Note: my 10x42 porro prism Steiners did not fit in the case (too wide) but my 10x42 roof prism GPOs fit perfectly.

Fits my Vortex Perfectly and I am so happy to see the zipper go! Love the magnetic closure. It is also the most comfortable harness I have tried.

Bought this harness as soon as it released, been using it shed hunting all spring, sits tight and high up on your chest, no clicking sound from the magnet when you close the lid. way better design then the previous mystery ranch Bino harness in my opinion

For the most part I really like this harness, my only complaint is that the side pockets hardly hold anything. I wish the front pocket could hold just a little bit more. All in all I really like it.

As with all Mystery Ranch products, the design and build quality are very good. The suspension system is great and the pouch fits my Vortex 10x binos perfectly. The only issue for me is, and it's pretty much a show-stopper, the magnetic closure. If you use a compass in the back country as I do (either magnetic or electronic) it is totally incompatible with the bino harness. When you hold your compass in any normal position the magnets in the harness will pull the compass off whatever your bearing is so totally unusable. I will probably end up removing the magnets and putting some velcro there. As for my recommendation below, it would have to be, "sure, if you don't need a compass ever."

I want to love this, but feel there are some opportunities missed by Mystery Ranch. This is a great, straight forward Bino harness, but I've love a more secure and stable way to add the range finder pocket and tech pocket to the side. I have the bear spray on bottom, but for a scouting rig, it's lacks secure options for the accessory pouches. If you just want a basic option for your Bino and a single location to add a molle accessory, this is perfect. I just wish it would have that additional option for the accessory pouches.

I love this bino harness so far. I've used it on an antelope hunt and a deer hunt so far this year. It's fully enclosed so it keeps my glass safe and the magnets are fairly quiet. The only flaw I've found so far is the buckles are noisy. It's hard to explain but when wearing the harness, the slightest movement will cause the buckles to make noise. If you bend forward, or twist left or right, the tension will cause the buckles to almost creak. It makes it hard to stay quiet. I'm planning on taping the buckles to see if it quiets the noise.

I really like the fit, security, and comfort of this harness. I use 10x42 binoculars and they have some wiggle room from side to side (about 1" even when when widened out) but fit securely from front to back and vertically. Even with the extra space, they don't move around. The closure is probably my favorite part, being magnetic and closing from the front toward my chest, so I know it's always secure compared to models that open front to back and can come unhooked without knowing it. The PALS webbing on the bottom makes it nice to attach a pistol holster or bear spray holster (which I did). The only thing that would make this harness better would be some larger accessory pockets. The 2 on the sides are pretty small and tight the front one doesn't expand either.

Very well made, like the magnetic closures and the materials. Used this quite a bit for hunting whitetail. I mounted a holster sideways on the molle with a beretta. Was afraid the weight would tear the threads but it held up fine. Pros - Build quality - Double rows of molle one the bottom - Materials - Comfort - Lots of places to store stuff Cons - The external stretchy pouches are nice, but not necessarily secure - The pouches on the sides are too small for a cell phone, rangefinder, etc. All I could fit was a small flashlight and glasses and I was afraid they were going to fall out - The front stretch pouches are too small to really be useful, like they were added by a graphic designer - No attachments for lanyards unless you use the mollle straps on the bottom - There is a slash pouch on the back and the zipper pouch on the front. Both are very tight to the point of being useless when there are binos in the case. Like you could slide a credit card in there but good luck getting it back out. - The is no way to attach pouches to the sides - The front bottom straps that attach to the sides of the harness are too short to attach MR pouches here either, when you use a pouch the buckle is under the pouch. - Likewise the shoulders straps are too narrow and short to attache pouches right above the harness, and then are two wide further up. Suggestions - Add molle to the sides so it is compatible with your molle pouches. Maybe include two simple stretch pouches that attache with molle and could be removed. - Maybe do something so your pouches can attached to the side straps and deal with that buckle. Strap would need to be thicker so pouches don't just wobble all over. Kuiu pouches are designed with the buckle in mind. - Make the zipper pouch pleated so it is actually useable. - Add a place for a velcro patch

Bought these just before guide season. Fit and quality are very good. Pouch for binoculars is very small. Vortex viper hd10x42 do not fit well in pouch. Lid won't stay closed unless you flatten out binos and every time you pull them out you have to re adjust to fit properly. Not the end of the world but just my 2 cents. 12x I was told would be to big that's why I went with the 10x

I used this harness for my archery elk hunt this year. I found that it stays in place quite well, has very easy access to my binoculars, and was very comfortable when worn without a pack. The areas that they could improve are how this fits while wearing a pack and the pockets. While wearing both the harness and a pack, there are buckles on the shoulder area that end up underneath your pack shoulder straps which cause a pressure point that gets sore fairly quickly under load. The pockets are all on the small side. I was barely able to fit my iPhone mini into the back pocket, but it did make for a nice secure fit once it was in. I was able to fit my license and tags into the interior pocket, but that is all. The side pockets were perfect for a small bottle of wind check, but the front pockets are almost completely useless. I found that I could fit a single mouth reed into each one, but that due to the pocket design it was not secure and could easily fall out. That being said, I would still buy this harness again. It was a major improvement over my last set up and made glassing far more convenient.
