Almost feels like I'm not wearing pants! These jeans are That comfortable. I agree with previous reviewer that the distressing on the hip is odd placement for sure. That being said, I am willing to overlook it because these jeans are too comfortable. I am 5'5", 165lbs and bought a 10. They are snug from the waist through the bum, and relaxed from the bum to the ankle. With the rolled cuff, they hit me right at the ankle. The waist hits at my natural waistline. I like that the jeans aren't too slouchy to wear under sweaters. I plan on wearing them with a long blazer and Doc Martens, as well as with some Hokas, a jersey, and a fedora to an NFL game.

I'm 5'5", 122 and the size 0 was a perfect fit. In other jeans, I tend to be a 4/27... but these are extremely stretchy. I've had other NYDJ jeans and I like the way they wear and wash. Returned the size 2! Thx Zappos for letting me try! Another thought, WIDE legs jeans are the rage. Theses are slightly wide without being too crazy. Not skinny jeans for sure!

Flattering and comfortable jeans. These are my second pair. They do lose some style points for the "decorative" rip on the right hip. The demographic for this company is NOT 20 or 30 somethings but older women. It just makes me look like a slob - not a hip young thing!

Rather not have the oddly placed distressed spot on the upper hip but the fit and leg is so great that I’ll tolerate it. It’s an odd place to distress, NYDJ.

There is a design flaw — the hips wing out, like there is just too much fabric. The jeans are the right size for me — it’s not that they’re too big. It’s the winging out that’s the problem. Not flattering at all.

Very odd fit. Looks like fit would be for someone with large saddlebags.
