I love these Slim bootcut jeans -- just a slight flare from knee to foot and fitted from knee to hip. No '70s hippy look; Been there done that. VERY flattering. I wear a 14 in NYDJ jeans, and they almost alway fit -- these do too. The waist is fairly high, and the color is a wonderful plain dark denim. No fading. They are too long for me -- I'm 5'6" and my inseam is 30" in this kind of pants so they don't drag on my shoes too much. I'll probably just cut them off. These make my not all that short legs look much longer and the overall effect is slimming. YAY. More colors to search for now. . . :)

I’ve always worn the Barbara bootcut . This particular cut has a very narrow leg through the knee down. I don’t know if it’s the new technology but I kind of miss the old cut. I’ll still wear them but they feel like I’m wearing a legging with a small flair at the bottom.

The fit was good, I prefer a longer length of 33 - 34" for the inseam. Style was good. However, there was so much stretch in the fabric, they were all bagged out after wearing for 10 minutes and they felt too large. It's too bad they put so much elastic in jeans-go back to cotton please! Zappos is fabulous as always!

I have many pairs of NYDJ. This pair has too much stretch in them. They bag out after 5 minutes and get all stretched out. They need to go back to more cotton and less stretch. Also, the stretch makes them too hot.
