Digging these shoes so far. I do light construction in these, and I've dropped quite a few items on my foot, no issues at all. They fit good and appear to hold up well to dirt and mud. Looking forward to testing the longevity of these shoes.

So far so good. I should have bought a size smaller but that's the problem of buying online. I hope they hold up. The soles went bad on my previous pair of Merrill's.

It was comfortable with lots of cusion but unfortunately it was a little to big. I'd probably say go down a size if you're planning to get these.

I prefer to buy in person but there is no retail store for this brand anymore. The online description and photos are accurate so they are what I expected. Soft construction so no break-in required. The laces supplied are twice as long as they should be so I have to cut them in the middle and tie a knot across the first eye bridge. My last Merrell shoes lasted five years.

Solid shoe, it's a little difficult to tighten the laces, feels little big in the heel but I like them. Not as cushy as the old wolverine dura-max's I had previously but I think there's a slight comfort compromise to get a seemingly really sturdy sole to the shoe. Time will tell about it's durability but so far so good. Also these are waterproof and in my initial rainy environments my feet remained dry.

A very good work shoe. The only downside that it is a 'shoe', and the shoestrings don't like to hold a knot. It has a safety toe and a grippy tread. There is enough cushion to make sore feet more comfortable.

They run a half size small good looking shoes and seemed well made looks like they would last a long time. I must have gotten a defective pair. As soon as I started to lace them up for the first time the top rivet broke away. They were a little heavier than I was expecting.

Fell apart after 6 months of use. I had to add insoles for comfort and better arch support and had to replace shoe strings as well. I won’t be buying these again. For the price and length of time in use, I hope to find a better brand and shoe going forward.

If you have or had Merrell hiking footwear you will get exactly what you are used to, but with a safety toe: no break-in period needed; average sole quality; way too long of laces that need cut & re-sealed; heavier than it should be; fits true to size. Overall just average, not great for the price point.

I've been wearing merrells for years, love them. These are not so well made. Less than a month in, the treads are literally falling off. I'm not abusing these at all, this is after walking my dogs every day on sidewalks or a nearby golf course. I'm not even wearing these every day. Most, but not all.

These shoes may be fine for some, but I stopped wearing them. They are incredibly heavy. I got sneakers and not work boots so that I could be a bit quicker on my feet and these felt like bricks. After just a few times of lacing them up the top grommet popped off and that was sort of it for me. I expected a lot better from Merrell. These were my first pair of Merrell shoes and probably my last. I am very disappointed in the feel and with the part coming off so soon.
