The pack is everything I expected but be informed: the straps and hardware are smaller then other MR packs probably meant to keep down the weight.

Adjustable suspension makes so you are wearing it not carrying it.

I love Mystery Ranch packs. I imagine this pack will last a long, long time. Took this on a very strenuous overnight hike (3300' elevation loss/gain over 4 miles of 'trail') and the way the pack distributed weight made it way more comfortable than I expected.

This thing is awesome! It has a tub of room, yet isn't bulky. The sleeping bag divider in the bottom helps keep everything situated. There are tons of tie off points and pockets. It handles weight very well. The dual chest clasps threw me off a little until I actually carried it but they won me over pretty quick. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

I bought this for a section hike on the AT this summer. I knew the pack was on the heavier side but I took a chance. My first time out with it I loaded it up with 35lbs and hiked for 10 miles. This pack was so comfortable I knew I made the right choice. The chest pouches are super handy. This by far is the best pack I have owned. I look forward to many more adventures with my Mystery Ranch pack.

I've had this pack on multiple trips now, it is the most comfortable pack I've ever used and I've used a lot, it's so easy to get to everything in the pack and there's a fly zip that zips all the way down so you can get anywhere in your bag at any time.

I bought this a month ago to replace my old worn out backpack. The Bridger 65 is more comfortable than my old pack. Very nice to have two sternum straps on the yolk up front to lighten the load off my shoulders. Nice to have two way access to my gear at the top or on the side of the pack. One of the best choices of packs I have bought and I have tried on plenty before choosing this one.

After several backpacking trips I can say it is my go to baby. With 65L I can pack everything I want and it carries weight comfortably. I would like a mesh pocket like the smaller versions but also it may comprised durability. I've tried other brands from ultralight to frameless, this is my go to back.

I bought this in spring time, finally moving away from my beloved external frame packs I had used since Boy Scouting days. Wanting to try something new and knowing Mystery Ranch has a great reputation, I settled on this bag. Not only can I confidently/ intelligently organize my gear and scale from a few days to multi week, there's a stylin' hip pack you can use from unclipping the top flap. Fabrics strong, mesh shoulder and waist pads are comfortable and adjustable, external straps still allow for attachments but you can fit quite a bit inside the bag and maintain a semblance of organization with internal pockets, an easy access panel at the bottom, and a full vertical zipper to open the full bag if needed. 10/10 recommend

Bought this for my teenager who camps at least once a month and who is training for a long hiking trip next summer. He did his homework and this is the only pack he wanted. He says it's easy to adjust, distributes the weight well and has great storage. The only things he'd change are making the top handle bulkier and enlarging the hip belt pocket a bit.

The pack is comfortable, it has extremely well designed pockets and the main compartment has easy access. The color is great, I really have no complaints about it. I had another brand pack and decided to try this and glad I did. I have used mystery ranch packs for edc and duty work but never for backpacking. This is a quality pack and I recommend it. The design of the pockets on the straps is the best.

Osprey atmos, kestrel and aether also Deuter, Gregory Baltoro and a hunting pack from Cabellas. The Mystery Ranch Bridger is so comfortable with 30lbs. Why do people say Osprey is comfortable? It's not.

Just got back from a 5 day backpacking trip in the Sawtooth Wilderness. The backpack performed great, had plenty of room and is very durable, which per usual with MR products. It's a tad heavy compared to other packs, but that's the trade off for having the durability of MR. Pros: Hip belt is fantastic, takes on most of the load. Yoke is super breathable. Being able to zip down the middle of pack is a game changer. Plenty of YouTube videos on the rest of the pros. Cons: Shoulder straps, my biggest complaint. The water bottle holders on the shoulder straps are super convenient. But MR needs to put more padding on the part of the strap that actually goes on the shoulders and across the chess. My chest and pecs were pretty bruised from the 40+ lbs I had on my back after day 3 of going up and down switchbacks on the side of a mountain, something I've never had happen before. Compared to my wife's Gregory Diva, the shoulder strap padding on the Bridger is lacking. Hip belt pockets could be larger, but it's whatever. Overall: great pack 9/10 would recommend. Fix the shoulder straps and it would be a 10/10.

Bought it before a big hike after my last bag was a few liters short. This bag took all the weight and was a comfortable smooth ride for all 36 miles over 48 hours

I have to start with, I have not used this pack yet. I purchased it because the timing was right, but it is summer in the desert which means I DON'T BACKPACK. It is too hot, too dry, and I just don't want to go (yes you can say I am a wimp or whinny ...I don't care). That said, the pack looks awesome. I love the layout of all the pockets and the access throughout the pack. I added some of my gear to the pack to start adjusting the straps and I like the feel. Super looking forward to using it in the fall.

So comfortable! So far I've taken it on an overnight and packed my 5.5lb tent and several creature comforts so was at about 30 pounds total. I'm in my mid-foties and tend to feel plenty of aches and pains that I used to either not notice or not get altogether. This pack was so comfortable carrying and over the multiple hours of hiking each day at no point did I feel I needed to readjust shoulder straps or give my shoulders a break. The weight stayed squarely on my hips. It's got many organizational tools/pockets so finding a specific item in the pack is easy and the front access panel makes packing a cinch, especially when you're not filling the pack fully and will end up cinching down the side compression straps. I'm really happy with my purchase and am looking forward to many years of comfortable use.

I'm loving the bridger 65 at this time! I've used other backpacking packs prior to the Bridger but I won't lie the bridger takes the freaking cake. This pack has pockets galore and the zipper has to be one of my favorite features. being able to have access to your full bag without taking everything out of your pack has to be the most continent feature ever. Distributes weight very well. Would highly recommend this to many of my friends looking into getting into backpacking.

I go to Mystery ranch for most of my bags and this is a new one for me. Coming from a ROUS I use at work and a t100 for personal, I wanted a lighter, more streamlined pack for an upcoming week long hike and this fits the bill. Not wanting to go ultralight as I like a solid bag with a good hip belt, this fits the bill and saves a few pounds. I'll update, if I can, if there are any issues, but a few test runs so far and no issues, and a great bag with a great layout.

A great all around choice. Super comfy and easy to pack and organize. I use this bag primarily for sport climbing... while it may be much larger than most climbing centric bag I really appreciate the way it flays open and the extra space helps carrying all climbing gear, food, water, etc. Another great bag from MR

SUPER comfortable. Weight is well-balanced with the features. Thoughtful innovation paired with timeless durability. Can't wait to continue using this pack for years. Only bones: - There's only one good lift handle right above the yolk, and the webbing for this handle is pretty thin. I know the handle is plenty durable, but that's a sharp handle when the pack is weighted. I wish there was a similar handle on the front of the pack to help offset the weight and cant of the pack when lifted. - One of the female SRB's was sewn in the wrong way. Doesn't affect the usability of the pack at all, but the buckle supplier logo is visible. Overall, very happy, just a small note for QC and development. Thanks Mystery Ranch!!

I haven't taken on the trail yet (two weeks!), but I can tell it is super well built. It is solid, feels nice, and has super-amazing features. I love the color (orange copper). I especially like the double full length access to the insides. This makes getting things out an cinch! From what I have read and seen in other reviews my expectations were high. So far I am very pleased! Only one thing left to do: get out and hike!

I have never seen myself as an ultra light backpacker, but have definitely tried to get on board with the whole UL movement. I purchased a UL pack, and hiked with it for a while, but always had my eye on the Myster Ranch Bridger. A few years of pining for the desired pack, I finally broke down and bought it! I have yet to be disappointed in it! I have had the opportunity to take it out, and the comfort of the suspension system alone made it worth the money I paid for it! This pack is loaded with features that I love, and the ability to access your gear in second no matter where in the pack it is, makes this the perfect pack for me! My UL pack is just a basic tube to contain my gear, where this pack allows the ease of access. The only drawback is that this pack is a little heavier than the standard UL packs, but the features make up for that! I am in the process of planning my second through hike of the Appalachian Trail, and you better believe that I will be taking my Bridger 65 to lug my gear in!!!! Thanks Mystery Ranch for my perfect pack!
